The article considers the phenomenon of “youth bulges” - the appearance in the population structure of numerous youth cohorts. The connection between the emergence of a “youth bulges” in society and the risks of political destabilization, which attracted the attention of a number of experts in the field of political demography, is analyzed and confirmed by examples from countries of two regions - Europe and Asia, where, unlike Europe, the influence of the phenomenon of “youth bulges” on political stability was not previously considered systematically. A significant layer of scientific literature has been analyzed and systematized, considering economic factors that increase the risk of political destabilization against the backdrop of a “youth bulges”; the key factors of an economic nature and their relationship with each other are highlighted.

The linkage between entrepreneurial ideas and actions continues to be central to the entrepreneurship debate. However, the possible implications of the various entrepreneurial motivations for the process are still largely understudied. On this basis, our study aims to contextualise the theoretical model linking entrepreneurial intentions, motivations and actions, with particular reference to academic entrepreneurship within the Life Sciences. We use the qualitative comparative analysis (QCA) set-theoretic method to process data gathered amongst 25 scholars active in the Life Sciences context. We carried out the analysis in two steps. The first reveals that a condition which determines entrepreneurial intentions is the absence of normative beliefs together with the presence of control beliefs. In contrast, the research highlights that the entrepreneurial intentions are able to determine the entrepreneurial action. However, as the second step shows, these alone are not sufficient and need to be complemented by extrinsic motivations, that is, those correlated to external incentives/benefits (above all of an economic nature). Our findings offer interesting insights into the whole phenomenon, revealing that the reference to specific contexts may well determine implications which differ from those already detected in the literature, with undeniable effects in terms of managerial and policy implications.

Displaying and evaluation methods of the accounting information in the financial reports influence greatly the authenticity, indicator evaluation and making decisions of the economic nature. In the article the evaluation methods of separate balance items, their influence on the indicators of the companies’ liquidity are interpreted, the problems of the balance item classification in the financial reports are updated. The authors believe that when investigating a specific financial indicator (for example, liquidity) it is important to analyse and evaluate both the methodology of data acquisition in accounting and to evaluate the methods of recognition of these elements in financial reports.

The article aims to introduce the issue of food waste and all attempts to prevent action. Business and politics are almost interdependent, and any discussion of an economic nature is not complete without a political contribution. The role of politics and politicians in shaping economic activities was and is widely discussed. In the article, there will be a discussion on the problems of food losses and waste in Poland as the member of EU and in India. The idea of the topic came during the tenure of collaboration between representatives of both departments. Conclusions of the study found some similarities and a lot of differences between the countries. Studies have shown that negative attitude of house-hold towards food waste is not frequently reflected in consumers’ behavior, despite their fundamental knowledge on how to reduce food waste. Properly selected and presented information will stimulate both consumer’s attitude and behavior.

The systemic and functional analysis of economic nature of Crypto currency within the modern theory of money is a necessary essential component of the study that allowed the authors to formulate a vision of social and economic model of future international monetary system. The authors consider the substance of money in a dialectic unity of the transformation of forms and spheres of its being. The forms of being of money are: material, monetary, paper, electronic. The spheres of being of money are: social, - the "symbol money"; economic, - the "bank notes"; political and legal, - "monetary units". In this paper we show that money is a financial instrument. Money is a market form of universal claim to a share in the wealth of society. The uncovering of internal intrinsic structure of money allows the authors to show convincingly that a currency, especially a "Crypto currency", cannot have and does not have an "economic nature". In considering the process of historical transformation of international monetary systems, taking into account the real achievements of financial, information, program and social engineering for the creation of a digital "gold" the authors believe that the social and economic model of future international monetary system has received its real approbation.

The review analyzes the key statements of the study by Anna Kulagina-Stadnichenko "The phenomenon of individual religiosity of the Orthodox believer". The problems raised in the monograph focus on the research of the influence of Orthodoxy onto the world view (religious consciousness), world perception and sensation (religious psychology), world attitude, formation of religious behavior and social activity (religious practice), the subject of Orthodox faith. Through the analysis of the works of psychologists, religion scholars, theologians and sociologists, the author managed to discover wide variety of factors that go far beyond the purely religious sphere but have rather strong impact on the formation of individual religiosity. The abovementioned points to the author's holistic approach to the analysis of the phenomenon of man, in which none of the spheres of their existence can be understood without tight connection to the other spheres. Therefore, the formation of individual religiosity possesses psychological, social, cultural and even economic nature, what has been successfully demonstrated by the author.

In coastal engineering we often have to face the problem of high stormfloods. Especially if the land near the coast is flat and low, if it is densely populated or if high economic values have to be protected. In all these oases, where life and economic values are at stake, a design flood has to be established as a basis for the construction of the works of protection. Obviously the height of the design flood will be dependent on two factors. On one hand it depends on the characteristics of the sea, on its probable and possible heights. On the other hand it depends on the values of human and economic nature, threatened by the sea. So the design flood may be regarded as a balance between the threatening force of the sea and the values at stake. In this paper we will investigate the nature of this balance. This will lead us to a close examination of the frequency curves of stormfloods, to a discussion of the question: What is a reasonable risk and to a discussion of the question: What is the space of time we have to take into account.
