This paper presents a mathematical model that provides analytic connection between four fundamental forces (interactions), by using modified reciprocal theorem, derived in the paper, as a convenient template. The essential premise of this work is to demonstrate that if we obtain with a form of the Yukawa potential function [as a meromorphic univalent function], we may eventually obtain the Coloumb Potential as a univalent function outside of the unit disk. Finally, we introduce the new problem statement about assigning Meijer's G-functions to Yukawa and Coloumb potentials as an open problem.

The article considers the problem of determining the rational plans of the input sampling reliability and technical parameters of components of space technology, the totality of which is supplied to the Assembly plants for the manufacture of complex products of space technology. Problem statement and mathematical model based on the minimization of the economic costs of control and losses related to the risks of taking wrong decisions, are given in the article. The properties of the mathematical models are investigated, the algorithm for its optimization is developed. The result is an optimal plan for the sampling of sets of components, which includes: an optimal product mix subject to mandatory control of the aggregate and optimum risks of first and second kind, when acceptance number of statistical plan is zero. The latter circumstance is due to the high requirements of reliability and technical parameters of products of space technology.

In the present investigation, we introduce the subclasses $\Lambda_{\Sigma_m}^{\rightthreetimes}(\sigma,\phi,\upsilon)$ and $\Lambda_{\Sigma_m}^{\rightthreetimes}(\sigma,\gamma,\upsilon)$ of $m$-fold symmetric bi-univalent function class $\Sigma_m$, which are associated with the Sakaguchi type of functions and defined in the open unit disk. Further, we obtain estimates on the initial coefficients $b_{m+1}$ and $b_{2m+1}$ for the functions of these subclasses and find out connections with some of the familiar classes.

In the present investigation, we introduce the subclasses $\varLambda_{\Sigma}^{m}(\eta,\leftthreetimes,\phi)$ and $\varLambda_{\Sigma}^{m}(\eta,\leftthreetimes,\delta)$ of \textit{m}-fold symmetric bi-univalent function class $\Sigma_m$, which are associated with the pseudo-starlike functions and defined in the open unit disk $\mathbb{U}$. Moreover, we obtain estimates on the initial coefficients $|b_{m+1}|$ and $|b_{2m+1}|$ for the functions belong to these subclasses and identified correlations with some of the earlier known classes.

Unit disk graphs are the intersection graphs of equal sized disks in the plane, they are widely used as a mathematical model for wireless ad-hoc networks and some problems in computational geometry. In this paper we first show that Roman dominating set and connected Roman dominating set problems in unit disk graphs are NP-complete, and then present two approximation algorithms for these problems.

In the present investigation, with motivation from the pioneering work of Srivastava et al. [28], which in recent years actually revived the study of analytic and bi-univalent functions, we introduce the subclasses T*?(n,?) and T?(n,?) of analytic and bi-univalent function class ? defined in the open unit disk U = {z ? C : |z| < 1g and involving the S?l?gean derivative operator Dn. Moreover, we derive estimates on the initial coefficients |a2| and |a3| for functions in these subclasses and pointed out connections with some earlier known results.

In the present paper, we introduce and investigate a new class of analytic and bi-univalent functions f (z) in the open unit disk U. For this purpose, we make use of a linear combination of the following three functions: f(z)/z, f'(z) and z f''(z) for a function belonging to the normalized univalent function class S. By applying the technique involving the Faber polynomials, we determine estimates for the general Taylor-Maclaurin coefficient of functions belonging to the analytic and bi-univalent function class which we have introduced here. We also demonstrate the not-too-obvious behaviour of the first two Taylor-Maclaurin coefficients of such functions.

In this paper, we introduce and investigate a subclass of analytic and bi-univalent functions in the open unit disk U. By using the Faber polynomial expansions, we obtain upper bounds for the coefficients of functions belonging to this analytic and bi-univalent function class. Some interesting recent developments involving other subclasses of analytic and bi-univalent functions are also briefly mentioned.

In this present article, we studied and examined the novel general subclasses of the function class $\Sigma$ of bi-univalent function defined in the open unit disk, which are associated with the Horadam polynomial. This study locates estimates on the Taylor - Maclaurin coefficients $|a_{2}|$ {\it and} $|a_{3}|$ in functions of the class which are considered. Additionally, Fekete-Szeg\"{o} inequality of functions belonging to this subclasses are also obtained.

How truth wins in social groups is an important open problem. Classic experiments on social groups dealing with truth statement issues present mixed findings on the conditions of truth abandonment and reaching a consensus on the truth. No theory has been developed and evaluated that might integrate these findings with a mathematical model of the interpersonal influence system that alters some or all of its members’ positions on an issue. In this paper we provide evidence that a general model in the network science on opinion dynamics substantially clarifies how truth wins in groups.

Abstract Let f be analytic in the unit disk $\mathbb {D}=\{z\in \mathbb {C}:|z|<1 \}$ and let ${\mathcal S}$ be the subclass of normalised univalent functions with $f(0)=0$ and $f'(0)=1$ , given by $f(z)=z+\sum _{n=2}^{\infty }a_n z^n$ . Let F be the inverse function of f, given by $F(\omega )=\omega +\sum _{n=2}^{\infty }A_n \omega ^n$ for $|\omega |\le r_0(f)$ . Denote by $ \mathcal {S}_p^{* }(\alpha )$ the subset of $ \mathcal {S}$ consisting of the spirallike functions of order $\alpha $ in $\mathbb {D}$ , that is, functions satisfying $$\begin{align*}{\mathrm{Re}} \ \bigg\{e^{-i\gamma}\dfrac{zf'(z)}{f(z)}\bigg\}>\alpha\cos \gamma, \end{align*}$$ for $z\in \mathbb {D}$ , $0\le \alpha <1$ and $\gamma \in (-\pi /2,\pi /2)$ . We give sharp upper and lower bounds for both $ |a_3|-|a_2| $ and $ |A_3|-|A_2| $ when $f\in \mathcal {S}_p^{* }(\alpha )$ , thus solving an open problem and presenting some new inequalities for coefficient differences.
