This study is meant to develop a TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) by integrating a VAM (Value-based Adoption Model), PAM (Pos Acceptance Model) and security perceptions. The frameworks of the theories are expected to deeper explain the perspective perceived by fintech services users in terms of security, perceived value, benefits, and satisfaction in using fintech. Survey through a quantitative approach combined with explanatory research in Madiun Residency. The results showed that all hypotheses proposed in this study were accepted. Security is the main requirement for people to continue or discontinue using fintech services. Perceived value is a comparative result influenced by the amount of sacrifice that is given and the perceived benefits. People who are satisfied and tends to assume that the fintech service is valuable, will most likely continue using the fintech service. Therefore, it can be concluded that TAM, VAM, PAM and security perceptions are a unified whole in understanding one's behaviour in adopting technology such as fintech services. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) has lately been utilized in a number of studies to investigate why people reject or adopt new technologies like mobile commerce or e-learning. However, several studies have found weaknesses in TAM’s ability to predict consumers’ purchase intention behavior. To compensate for TAM’s weaknesses, this study presents a model that integrates all of TAM’s components with the Value-Based Adoption Model (VAM). The perceived benefits and sacrifices were considered to provide a list of the implications for both researchers and e-learning service providers. Furthermore, the moderating role of e-word of mouth was utilized to examine the relationship between attitude, intention, perceived value, and intention toward e-learning, in order to match the current circumstances with the growing popularity of social networks. This study was conducted with a quantitative analysis by using data collected from survey 417 e-learning consumers. Except for perceived fee, which has a negative effect on perceived value, the results demonstrate that all hypotheses of latent correlations in TAM and VAM were strongly significant. Furthermore, attitude and perceived value have a significant role in determining consumer adoption of e-learning. Consumers’ perceived value will be driven by the high and low levels of the moderating influence of e-word of mouth, influencing their intention toward e-learning. Since e-learning is an effective sustainable education system, the result of this study can provide a good solution to facilitate e-learning in current and future conditions.

The success of an information system (IS) depends on the users’ satisfaction with the system. In this study, the Technology Acceptance Model by Davies (1989) was extended. The paper synthesized the technology acceptance model (TAM) to explain and predict the success of e-payment system using users’ satisfaction as dependent variable. The hypothesized model was validated empirically using a sample data collected from of a modified e-payment questionnaire. A total of 74 teaching and non teaching academic staff selected from the Faculty of Communication and Information Sciences, University of Ilorin, Nigeria constituted the sample for the study. The results revealed correlation among perceived benefits, perceive enjoyment, speed; service quality, perceive ease of use and actual use and e-payment success. Moreover, all the seven e-payment predictive factors together made 69% of e-payment system success. Similarly perceived benefits, perceive enjoyment, speed; service quality, perceive ease of use and actual use are good predictors of e-payment system success. One of the implications pointed out by the study is that the measures for the construct of e-payment system success used are self-reported. In the light of this, future research should develop more objective and accurate measures for determining e-payment system success.

Existing theories in the technology acceptance and Internet adoption fields have examined the adoption among users, which can be classified into two categories: technological and behavioral perspectives. In this paper, the authors propose an integrated household Internet adoption model combining both perspectives to provide a holistic view on the subject. For this purpose, the three primal models of technology acceptance and usage behavior, the technology acceptance model (TAM), theory of planned behavior (TPB), and uses and gratifications theory (U&G), are selected to construct the integrated model. In this way, based on the dimensions of the studied theories, specific constructs are defined to integrate these dimensions according to their similarities and appropriateness. The relationship between the proposed model’s constructs are then hypothesized based on the literature findings, and examined in a case study of household Internet adoption among Iranian households. Also, structural equation modeling (SEM) is used to illustrate the relationships’ coefficients between proposed model constructs, and derived implications for the Internet adoption among Iranian households are discussed based on the research findings.

This study is preliminary in the development of a new model whereby combining and integrating an existing model, the adoption model of information technology with the technology acceptance model. The development of this model is done by using the logic of the IPO (input-process-output) and the causal model by combining, adopting, and adapting the previous model. The effect of the formed path consists of 16 links and produces 11 variables. The existing variables will be formed into 55 indicators, where one variable creates five indicators. The process of developing this model will assist researchers in testing the information technology adoption model and the technology acceptance model so that it will get the effect that occurs in both models. This research will also contribute to further research, especially in the study of information systems, which will provide a theoretical basis for modeling. Besides, the transparency of the development and proposed models, especially in the instruments used, will be taken into consideration in conducting further research .
