Latar Belakang: Pelaksanaan pelayanan keperawatan di ruang Intensive Care Unit (ICU) lebih memfokuskan kepada perawatan pasien kritis, sehingga keluarga pasien yang menunggu merasa terabaikan. Hal ini akan berdampak terhadap kualitas pelayanan keperawatan yang kurang baik. Masalah yang sering terjadi oleh keluarga di ruang ICU ialah kurang terpenuhi pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga pasien. Implementasi yang dapat perawat lakukan ialah mengidentifikasi dan memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga yang menjadi prioritas. Tujuan: Mengidentifikasi gambaran kualitas pelayanan keperawatan dan pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga pasien di ICU. Metode: Jenis penelitian literature review dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan content analyis, artikel diperoleh dari database Google Scholar, PubMED, neliti.com, Portal Garuda dan Research Gate, menggunakan kata kunci: kualitas pelayanan keperawatan, Intensive Care Unit, kebutuhan keluarga, family needs, quality, nursing care. Ekstraksi data meliputi nama pengarang, tahun, negara,tujuan, reponden, desain, finding/temuan. Hasil: Dari hasil literature review ditemukan tujuh artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kualitas pelayanan di ICU dan pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga sudah rata-rata baik. Pasien dan keluarga merasa puas atas pelayanan keperawatan, terutama mengenai daya tanggap dan rasa empati. Kebutuhan yang menjadi prioritas ialah jaminan pelayanan dan informasi. Kesimpulan: Kualitas pelayanan keperawatan di ICU telah baik dari unsur daya tanggap dan empati perawat. Pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga diprioritaskan ialah jaminan pelayanan dan informasi. Intensive Care Unit (ICU) merupakan area kegiatan asuhan yang dikondisikan dan dirancang dengan baik untuk mengobati kondisi kritis, perawat harus memikili kopetensi budaya yang baik. Budaya memainkan peran besar dalam nilai – nilai, keyakinan, prilaku dan penilaian situasional terkait dengan kesehatan. Bila tidak ditangani akan mengakibatkan konsekuensi sosial dan klinis yang negatif, lingkungan yang tidak jelas, kebingungan, pesan tidak tersampaikan, ketidaktahuan pasien, keterlambatan informed consent dan kualitas perawatan yang rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggambarkan pengalaman perawat terkait pelaksanaan Cultural Competence di ICU dari penelitian - penelitian yang sudah dilakuan. Metode yang digunakan dengan pencarian eletronik artikel terdiri dari studi kualitatif yang dikumpulkan dari basis data elektronik seperti Medline, Google Scholar, Science Direct, PubMed dan Proquest dengan menggunakan kata kunci MeSH yang relevan yaitu : Cultural Competence, Intensive Care Unit, dan Nursing. Artikel yang dipilih sesuai dengan kriteria SPIDER, diterbitkan tahun 2012-2018, ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris. Evaluasi artikel menggunakan penilaian kritis dan pedoman PRISMA. Dari hasil penelurusan literatur yang dilakukan, ditemukan sebanyak 7 (tujuh) artikel terkait dan memenuhi kriteria. Hasil tema – tema yang muncul terkait pelaksanaan cultural competence diantaranya keterlibatan (partisipasi) keluarga dalam proses perawatan, mengunakan penerjemah, mempertahankan tim yang multikultural, komunikasi prosedur dan diagnosa yang jelas dan mengakui keanekaragaman budaya.

Intensive care unit (ICU) is in principle not designed to accept the presence of a patient's visitor or family for a long time. One of the effects that arises is an increase in the patient's family anxiety. In general, nurses do not consider the patient's family as part of his holistic care. So, it takes the role of nurses to identify the patient's family needs, in order to realize holistic care. This review aims to identify the family needs of patients treated in the intensive care unit. Literature is obtained from the Ebsco database, ProQuest and Science Direct, using keywords: family needs, nursing strategy and intensive care unit. From 7 literature sources obtained about what is needed by the patient's family. This review produced 5 themes, namely family needs for information, closeness, support, involvement, and knowing the care received by patients. This review only focuses on the patient's family needs in general. The family is part of the patient. Identified family needs, namely information needs, closeness, support, involvement and knowledge of care received by patients. The participation of health workers is needed in identifying and encouraging the fulfillment of family needs. Keyword: family needs, nursing strategies, intensive care unit

Objective: To analyze the nursing care provided to premature infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Methods: Descriptive study with a qualitative approach, such as literature review. The selection of articles took place from August to October 2018. The searches resulted in the visualization of 75 articles. Of which only 12 articles met the established criteria and descriptors. Results: The main nursing care provided to premature infants in the NICU are: Observation of the premature infant, in the first 24 hours of life; hydration; food; skin; infection; umbilical stump, among others. Conclusion: When the NB is hospitalized, due to the mother's absence associated with excessive manipulation by the health team, it can trigger stress, impairing her clinical condition. More than technical care is needed, especially by nurses, who are the professionals who most provide care to the newborn in the NICU.

The neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) is, inherently, a trauma environment for the extremely premature infant. This trauma is often exacerbated by nurse caregiving practices that can be modified and still remain effective. Our study explored how behavior analytics could be used to implement an intervention known as Care by Cues and how the intervention might, ultimately, impact infant physiologic stability.
