ABSTRACT Migrations, social inequality, uprooting and problems related to the teaching-learning process have a negative influence on the life of children and youngsters in Latin America, particularly in Ecuador. It is necessary to potentiate academic management in order to support vulnerable groups in correspondence with national educational policies. For these reasons, a study on learning environments and vulnerable groups in educational institutions in the Bolivar Province is carried out. Research is applied with elements of the interpretive method and fundaments of Socio-critical Pedagogy. To assess the context of these groups in the province, authorities, student advisors, and teachers filled in two questionnaires. Besides, in all cantons’ educational centers, a classroom observation guide was used with the teachers who participated in the survey. The obtainedresults detected vulnerable groups as well as the causes that influence this problem, educational vulnerability, caused by physical and mental disability, dysfunctional families, migration, poverty, and an inefficient academic management of such groups. From the analysis and interpretation of the results, the theoretical and empirical methods, this research presents a didactic guide containing active participation strategies aimed to include students in different learning environments in order to solve the problem, they will be discussed in training workshops together with educational authorities, teachers, and families of the province, which will contribute to the integral and individual formation of scholars and will support the formation of students at the Faculty of Educational Sciences. Palabras clave Autoeficacia académica, Autopercepción, Aspectos cognitivos y afectivos, Competencias académicas   Abstract To understand the cognitive and affective aspects depends to a great extent on the great interest that the educational institutions print when offering didactic strategies that allow to reach the maximum of the knowledge but without doubt, the participation Determined by the student will be decisive in their teaching learning process by favoring to a large extent their academic competencies as an elementary part and to contribute to their professional and integral development. In the section of the educational psychology, the aspects of self-efficacy and anxiety by the simple fact of its definition show a controversial sense in the subject by not identifying punctually the state of the behavior that derives this attitude. METHODOLOGICAL ALTERNATIVES TO CONTRIBUTE TO TEACHER TRAINING ABSTRACT In the educational institutions of Ecuador, it is essential to work for the improvement of the quality of the teaching-learning process. In this presentation, the objective is to expose the necessary elements that allow demonstrating the rationality of alternatives to promote a phased preparation of teachers, which can begin with the theoretical approach of a problem in a methodological meeting, the execution of a methodological class that I was able to instruct or demonstrate to the teachers the "how to do it", then an open class can be held that collectively checks to what extent the teacher was able to appropriate what was previously addressed and finally the class controls are carried out where the head of the instance verifies if the teaching performance of its cloister has been perfected and therefore expresses the magnitude in which that objective was achieved. Scientific research methods such as historical-logical, analysis-synthesis were used with the objective of reasoning and extracting theoretical budgets related to the training needs of teachers. As an impact of this proposal, it is stated that during the application of the fine diagnosis, a balance between "basic" technology (the art of the teacher-student relationship and the precise exploration should be promoted, so that the teacher acts as a "model" to imitate by their students and therefore recognize the particularities offered in each subject. KEYWORDS: classes; diagnosis; methodological; system.

Building on the assumption that the physical environment can have an influence on the creativity of designers and design students in particular, the aim of this paper is to provide theoretical propositions and evidences for this relationship. We develop various propositions about the influence of physical environments on creativity, based on eight expert interviews and supported by literature. A particular focus was given to the environments of design educational institutions. We present a summary of the main insights and visualize the developed propositions as a causal graph addressing how space influences creativity. These propositions can be regarded as a first step towards a theory of creativity-supporting learning environments and they can serve as a reference when designing or adjusting creative learning spaces.

Purpose Quality management systems are being used more frequently in educational institutions, although their application has generated a certain amount of disagreement among education experts, who have at times questioned their suitability and usefulness for improving schools. The purpose of this paper is to contribute to this discussion by providing additional knowledge on the effects in educational institutions of implementing quality management systems. Specifically, this study investigates teachers’ and managers’ perception of the impact that quality management systems have on one essential dimension of schools, the teaching–learning processes, with impact being understood as sustained medium- and long-term organisational change. Design/methodology/approach The responses were analysed and classified into a set of sub-dimensions linked to quality management processes in a total of 29 Spanish primary and secondary education schools that have used such systems for at least three years. Findings The results showed that, according to the respondents, the following sub-dimensions were improving as a result of implementing quality management plans: teaching and learning processes, the analysis of student results, tutoring, consideration of attitudes and values and assessment processes. Conversely, quality management systems did not seem to have a clear impact on the teaching methodologies used by teachers or on family involvement in student learning. In fact, the perceived impact in these sub-dimensions varied among teachers of public and private schools as well as when comparing different regional autonomous communities. Originality/value As the main objective of a school is to guarantee student learning, one of the essential purposes of school quality assurance systems is to perform all the activities aimed at ensuring high levels of student performance.

The paper attempts to discuss processes and strategies for innovations in schools. Committed and thoughtful teacher educators, translate their knowledge, expertise, skills and research work for bringing innovations in the teaching learning process in order to keep the system most engaged and updated. The notion of shared explicit philosophy of teaching learning is central, to innovations in the schools. There are mainly four responsible factors perceived in implementation of innovation in any organisation more so, in educational institutions, namely systems support, encouragement to creativity, autonomy and conformity. Fundamentals of innovations provide some insight in to the scope of educational innovation in school education in India. These are mostly based on unique personalised experiences of the learners and the learners retain centrality of focus. Rewards and recognition are the motivating force for fresh innovative ideas and practices. Individual, Institution and Implementation were three vital points for Innovation.
