ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui faktor penyebab kekerasan antar siswa SMA/SMK di sekolah Kota Mataram;  (2) mengetahui bentuk kekerasan antar siswa SMA/SMK di sekolah Kota Mataram. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik penggumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Faktor penyebab terjadinya kekerasan antar siswa yakni: 1) kebencian dan ketidaksenangan; 2) ketidakberdayaan; 3) ketidakpuasan seperti persaingan dan 4) dukungan massa. Bentuk kekerasan antar siswa dikelompokkan dalam 2 kategori yakni, a. Kekerasan fisik yaitu perkelahian meliputi;  1) memukul, 2) mencubit, 3) menendang dan b. Kekerasan verbal yaitu ejekan meliputi; 1) menghina, 2) menatap, 3) menertawakan, 4) memanggil dengan nama binatang. Abstract          This study aims to (1) determine the causes of violence among high school/vocational high school students in Mataram City schools; (2) know the forms of violence between high school/vocational students in Mataram City schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques in this study using interviews, observation and documentation. Factors causing violence among students are: 1) hatred and accused; 2) powerlessness; 3) dissatisfaction like competition and 4) mass support. Forms of violence between students are grouped into 2 categories namely, a. Physical violence that is a fight includes; 1) hitting, 2) pinching, 3) kicking, 4) throwing something, 5) nagging, 6) nudging, 7) pushing and b. Verbal violence namely ridicule includes; 1) insulting, 2) staring, 3) laughing, 4) calling by the name of the animal.

The most preferred tools of technology today are internet and smart phones. Nowadays, these two tools offer numerous services and facilities to humanity in many areas. Accessing technology at any time, having a pleasant time, interacting without the limitations of face to face communication are some of them. That is why; individuals have become unable to live without internet and smartphones. Especially the rapid developments in information and communication technologies, internet and social media media, which is among the means of access to smart phones among university students and has made widespread use. In this context, a case study was conducted in order to examine the opinions of the students about the use of smart phones in Vocational High School students. For this purpose, the students' opinions were taken with a structured interview form. The questions in the interview form were developed by the researchers by conducting a comprehensive literature review. Expert opinion was consulted in the preparation of the interview form. The experts evaluated the suitability of the questions in terms of scope and language. The study group consisted of 10 students from the Department of Computer Programming and Computer Technology of Kafkas University. It is foreseen that the results of the research can lead to future scientific studies.

This research aims to compare the loneliness and hope among orphans in the Tanjung Barat orphanage, South Jakarta. The research method used a descriptive qualitative with a case study method. Data collection techniques were interviews, observations, and filling in a simple questionnaire. The sample used 36 children of Tanjung Barat orphanage consisting of elementary school, junior high school and senior high school students. This was done on site and compared to the literature that had been previously established.  Comparing loneliness and hope among orphans aimed to identify and find ways of mapping loneliness and hope among orphans who had been explored and investigated empirically, to find out the comparison and contrast with the mapping of loneliness and hope expressed among them, and to find examples of self-assessment to evaluate and encourage the mapping of their loneliness and expectations among them and present them to caregivers, parents and professionals. By comparing their loneliness and hopes they can actively engage in social interaction between themselves, others, and improve their personal, welfare and life skills.

Similar triangles in questions are usually given as separate, adjacent or overlapped. Furthermore, similarity types such as Side-Angle-Side (S.A.S.), Side-Side-Side (S.S.S.) and Angle-Angle (A.A.) are requested in the questions. Students have more trouble in other types of questions. The purpose of this study is to investigate the difficulties of students about similar triangles and the reasons for these difficulties. This research was carried out with the case study method, which is one of the qualitative research approaches. The study was conducted with 55 Science High School 9th grade students and 9 open-ended questions were used to examine students' knowledge about “similarity in triangles”. Furthermore, 5 students were interviewed to find out the reasons for their solutions. Descriptive analysis method was used to analyze the data. As a result, it can be concluded that students have difficulties mostly in overlapped triangles and Angle-Angle type questions. On the other hand, it can be concluded that students are quite successful where similar triangles are given separately. In the light of the findings obtained in this study, it can be advised for lecturers to focus on the questions where similar triangles are overlapped while explaining the similarity in the triangle. The Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) pandemic has a huge impact in every aspects of people's lives. One of the aspects is education. Currently, educational institutions are implementing online learning.  This research is about the issue of high school students' perception about online learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research uses qualitative research with a case study method. The techniques used for data collection is interview. The  subjects of this research are students of SMA Santa Maria Medan based on their grade level. In this research, the researcher conduct an interview. The results showed that students of SMA Santa Maria Medan experienced difficulties during online learning. The difficulties faced is that high school students are required to independently understand the lessons that have been explained by the teacher, besides that unstable network is also considered as one of the factors that creates misunderstanding (miss communication) of the meaning received by students.  Students also find it so hard to interact with other students during online learning and students are not feeling motivated because the teacher learning system only provides material and assignments that absolutely makes students tired and bored of learning.Pandemi Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) menyebabkan dampak yang begitu besar bagi seluruh aspek kehidupan masyarakat salah satunya pendidikan. Pemerintah menerapkan aturan pembelajaran jarak jauh secara dalam jaringan (daring) pada seluruh sekolah untuk mencegah penyebaran virus corona. Pembelajaran daring ini membentuk persepsi yang berbeda bagi setiap peserta didik. Persepsi adalah kemampuan otak dalam menerjemahkan stimulus atau proses untuk menerjemahkan stimulus yang masuk ke dalam alat indera manusia. Penelitian ini mengangkat persoalan mengenai persepsi siswa SMA selama pembelajaran daring saat pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Studi kasus penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Santa Maria Medan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa SMA Santa Maria Medan. Objek penelitian adalah persepsi siswa SMA selama pembelajaran daring saat pandemi Covid-19. Wawancara dilaksanakan melalui konferensi video. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa SMA selama pembelajaran daring saat Pandemi Covid-19 adalah bahwa pembelajaran daring yang dilaksanakan selama pandemi tidak efektif. Siswa SMA dituntut untuk mandiri memahami pelajaran yang telah dijelaskan oleh guru. Selain itu, masalah jaringan menjadi faktor utama dalam kesalahpahaman makna yang diterima oleh siswa. Siswa juga jarang berinteraksi dengan siswa lainnya selama pembelajaran daring. Siswa merasa tidak memiliki motivasi karena sistem pembelajaran di mana guru hanya memberikan materi dan tugas yang membuat siswa jenuh.

Writing Poetry is one of the basic competencies that must be mastered by students in high school. Writing poetry is also an effort to encourage literacy movements, especially literacy program in schools. To increase students’ interest in writing poetry, innovation is needed in the learning process. One of them is by using an interesting learning method by utilizing the social environment. This writing is an idea that discusses the learning method of case study based on the social environment as an alternative for students in writing poetry. The discussion in this paper includes (1) steps to implement a case study method based on social environment in learning to write poetry and (2) steps to write poetry based on the social environment by applying case study method. The purpose of this study is to know what character values can be instilled through debate learning. Debate learning is a new basic competence that high school students have to study in this 2013 revision of the 2016 curriculum. In 2016, SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar became the 1st champion in high school debate competition in Karanganyar regency. The management of debate learning in SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar has become a benchmark for other schools in implementing debate learning. In addition to the teaching materials and methods used, the main thing in learning this curriculum is about character education for students. This research is qualitative research with case study method. Technique of taking data in this research is by using technique of record and record from result of observation done in class X SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar. The result obtained from this research is the discovery of 13 character values, namely: 1) honest; 2) discipline; 3) hard work; 4) curiosity; 5) nationalism; 6) appreciate achievement; 7) communicative; 8) love of peace; 9) reading; 10) environmental care; 11) responsibility; 12) manners; And 13) confident.Keywords: character education, debate learning, 2013 revision curriculum IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DEBAT KURIKULUM 2013 PADA SMA NEGERI 1 KARANGANYARAbstrakPembelajaran debat merupakan kompetensi dasar baru yang harus dipelajari siswa SMA pada edisi kurikulum 2013 revisi 2016 ini. SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar merupakan SMA pedoman bagi sekolah-sekolah lain di lingkungan Kabupaten Karanganyar karena terlihat dari input dan output siswa yang baik. Pada tahun 2016 kemarin SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar menjadi juara 1 dalam lomba debat tingkat SMA se-kabupaten Karanganyar. Pengelolaan pembelajaran debat yang ada di SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar menjadi tolok ukur bagi sekolah lain dalam menerapkan pembelajaran debat. Selain materi dan metode ajar yang digunakan, hal utama dalam pembelajaran kurikulum ini adalah mengenai pendidikan karakter untuk siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apa saja nilai-nilai karakter yang dapat ditanamkan melalui pembelajaran debat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengambilan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik rekam dan catat dari hasil observasi yang dilakukan di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini berupa ditemukannya 13 nilai karakter, yakni: 1) jujur; 2) disiplin; 3) kerja keras; 4) rasa ingin tahu; 5) nasionalisme; 6) menghargai prestasi; 7) komunikatif; 8) cinta damai; 9) gemar membaca; 10) peduli lingkungan; 11) tanggung jawab; 12) sopan santun; dan 13) percaya diri.Kata kunci: pendidikan karakter, pembelajaran debat, kurikulum 2013 revisi
