AbstractWhen investigating foreign direct investment, scientists focus on different combinations of factors. They often emphasize the economic ones, while underestimating the others. Among the non-economic factors, there are several problems regarding the identification of relevant FDI determinants. The aim of this paper is the provision of a comprehensive review of the factors that are considered to impact the attraction of FDI and the identification of relevant FDI determinants. From the variety of factors, mentioned in the specialty literature, we identified eleven categories of FDI determinants. We also provided a comprehensive review of categorical and methodological interferences of the identified factors, proposing potential working hypothesis for future researches in the field. The final assessment of this study is the creation of a Synthesis of the factors influencing FDI.

Cotton Mather (1663–1728), New England's Puritan polymath, participated in a global academic network. In his immense commentary “Biblia Americana,” a significant untapped resource of American intellectual history, he evaluated early Enlightenment scholarship as he weighed in on such hotly debated issues as the creation story, Noah's flood, and the Mosaic miracles.

Design Management The author analyzes in the paper the role of creativity and design in innovations, with emphasis on three theoretical models linking creativity, design and innovations. The effective use of design is linked to design management. The concept of design management relates to certain management activities, methods and skills that are required to optimize and manage design processes. The objective of Design management is the creation of synergy between the creative realm and the business realm. Factors influencing the level of design management are analyzed and suggestions for incorporating design as strategic function are outlined.

Based on the results of the analysis of the activity of enterprises of different sectors of the aviation industry, the factors, influencing their effectiveness, have been identified, grouped and highlighted. In this article more than five problem zones of the aviation industry of the Russian Federation have been enumerated. The assessment mechanism of the strategic efficiency of projects on the creation of high-tech products in the aviation industry has been schematically presented. The central block of the mechanism has been described in detail – the method of determination of projects strategic effectiveness on the creation of high-tech products in the aviation industry.

AbstractFraud is not an individual problem, but rather, we deal with a systematic fraud, particularly in the public sector through the creation of a private monopoly over public sector. Therefore, the first step, which needs to be set in organization in order to develop an efficient system for fraud control is development of anti-fraud strategy. Anti-fraud strategy is based on a policy of integrity and zero tolerance for fraud. Under the fraud we imply: corruption, assets misappropriation and fraudulent statement. Fraudsters are in the organization and beyond. Factors influencing performing of fraud are: pressure, opportunity and rationalization. Costs incurred due to the fraud may be difficult to realistically consider. Battle against fraud is determined by political will, effective legislation and anti-fraudulent culture and strategy.
