HuJiaDi tunnel construction of Dai Gong highway is troublesome, the surrounding-rock mass give priority to full to strong weathering basalt, surrounding rock integrity is poor, weak self-stability of surrounding rock, and tunnel is prone to collapse. In order to reduce disturbance, taking advantage of the ability of rock mass, excavation adopt the method of "more steps, short footage and strong support". The excavation method using three steps excavation, The excavation footage is about 1.2 ~ 1.5 m; The surrounding rock bolting system still produce a large deformation after completion of the first support construction, it shows that the adopted support intensity cannot guarantee the stability of the tunnel engineering. Using ABAQUS to simulate tunnel excavation support, optimizing the support parameters of the tunnel, conducting comparative analysis with Monitoring and Measuring and numerical simulation results, it shows that the displacement - time curves have a certain consistency in numerical simulation of ABAQUS and Monitoring and Measuring.

Because of low knowledge structural level in real tunnel engineering management, existing risk control methods (e.g., rule reasoning, decision tree inference) cannot completely meet the actual engineering demands. Considering the complexity of risk analysis of the tunnel engineering, this paper presents an aggregated risk control approach for tunnel engineering based on case library, i.e., representing case attribute modules using Frame representation method, reducing attributes using rough set technology, and simplifying case library by removing its redundancy in attribute similarity threshold.

Tunnel engineering information construction has been widely used, and the back analysis is its core. As the common useful method, displacement back analysis is of special advantages. This paper introduces the calculative method based on the application in a railway tunnel. The result shows that strain softening model can be used to simulate the large deformation mechanism of surrounding rock.

Highway tunnels play a very important role in people's daily life. Among them, lining is an essential part of tunnel engineering, and the quality of lining greatly affects the overall quality of the tunnel. On this basis, the causes of lining cracks and the detection methods of existing highway tunnel lining cracks are analyzed, and the treatment countermeasures for highway tunnel lining cracks are proposed.

Highway tunnel entrance is not only the exposed part of mountain in the tunnel engineering, but also an integral part of the highway breaking through the mountain. On the premise of ensuring the safety of tunnel entrance, it is important to realize the unity of safety and practical “stability” and landscape greening “beauty” of the expressway tunnel through reasonable aesthetic landscape greening design. In combination with the topographic and geomorphological conditions as well as the regional and humanistic conditions of the highway tunnel portal area, this paper introduces the cultural landscape and plant greening engineering of highway tunnel entrance by reference to the successful experience of tunnel entrance landscape greening, and puts forward the requirements for landscape and greening technology of highway tunnel entrance in accordance with the provisions of relevant regulations.
