The evaluation index system of life-cycle asset management is the basis of scientific assessment of power grid assets management level, is the carrier of the grid quality operation. This article in view of the new requirements for the whole life-cycle of asset management under the new environment, Construct a four layer tree evaluation index system, to conduct a comprehensive evaluation on the level of assets management. Realizing the maximization of benefits, and make power grid in safe and stable operation at the same time.

Through the established calculation mode of Life Cycle Asset Management and MEE Comprehensive Evaluation Mode, the system evaluates and researches on the selected substation, analyzing the evaluated result and finds the problems. And then discuss the new mode of Power Life Cycle Asset Management.

Under high-penetration of renewable energy, power grid is facing with the development problems such as production delay, wind and solar power abandoning. With the continuous growth of renewable energy installation such as wind power, photovoltaic (PV), as well as the increase of power generation capacity, it is urgent to increase peak-load and frequency regulation capacity on a large scale to alleviate the consumption problems caused by large renewable energy integration, and then requires power generation enterprises of peak-load and frequency regulation to increase relevant equipment assets. As a result, peak-load and frequency regulation enterprises must carry out scientific cost management of equipment assets. This paper introduces the concepts, developments and perspectives of life cycle cost (LCC) management of equipment assets in high-penetrated renewable energy power grid, and probes into cost collection and estimation scheme in the process of equipment asset management.

According to the demand of asset life cycle management on closed-loop management of whole process, and taking the characteristics of asset management in power grid enterprises into consideration, this paper puts forward a MIMS diagnosis model of asset management process based on the concept of life cycle management. Using the MIMS model, this paper analyzes the problems of asset management of power grid enterprises from four dimensions, i.e., management mode, information sharing, decision making mechanism and methods, systems and standards. Finally, some suggestions on process rebuilding of asset life cycle management in power grid enterprises have been brought forward.
