Good business strategy is necessary for the company to compete with local competitors as well as with other companies in the group XYZ. Business strategy is also needed in order to achieve its goal in providing the best services for customers. Support the implementation of information systems and information technology is needed to support the company's business strategy. Planning of the Enterprise Architecture is necessary for the company to run its business processes. Enterprise architecture is composed of the Business Architecture, Data Architecture, Application Architecture and Technology Architecture. Business processes and organizational activities executed using the data collected, managed, secured and distributed using applications, both custom applications and common applications that run over the technology infrastructure and computer networks. The research report in this thesis discusses about planning the Enterprise Architecture of Manufacturing Information System Architecture Based Cloud Computing using TOGAF, a case study in PT.XYZ. In planning this architecture using the TOGAF-ADM to pass the following stages: Defining planning the Architecture Vision, Planning the Business Architecture, Planning the Information System Architecture, Planning the Technology Architecture, Solutions and Opportunities, Migration Planning, Implementation Management, and Change Management Architecture. The research process is done by looking at the business strategy on the manufacturing process and products distribution from PT. XYZ. The results of this study are planning the enterprise architecture of manufacturing information system at PT. XYZ to support the implementation of enterprise information systems as a whole, to solve the integration problems of information systems, and improve effectiveness and efficiency in the implementation of information technology infrastructure.

This study aims to examine the effect of task technology fit and effectiveness accounting information system on the quality of financial performance with the balanced scorecard as a moderating variable. This research was conducted at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XIV in the city of Makassar. This study is a quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method, with 36 respondents as respondents. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis and moderation regression analysis (MRA). The results of multiple linear analysis shows that technology fit task has a positive effect and the effectiveness accounting information system has a positive effect on the quality of financial performance. Moderation regression analysis shows that the balanced scorecard is able to moderate task technology fit the quality of financial performance, while the balanced scorecard is not able to moderate the effectiveness of accounting information system on the quality of financial performance.

Big data has gained popularity in recent years, with increased interest from both public and private organisations including academics. The automation of business processes led to the proliferation of different types of data at various speeds through information systems. Big data is generated at a high rate from multiple sources that can become complex to manage with challenges to collect, manipulate, and store data with traditional IS/IT. Big data has been associated with technical non-technical challenges. Due to these challenges, organisations deploy enterprise architecture as an approach to holistically manage and mitigate challenges associated with business and technology. An exploratory study was done to determine how EA could be used to manage big data in healthcare facilities. This study employs the interpretive approach with documentation as the analysis. Findings were governance, internal and external big data sources, information technology infrastructure development, and big data skills. Through the different EA domains, big data challenges could be mitigated.

The communication and implementation of a strategic plan is typically based on various measures in educational institutions. The balanced scorecard approach has in the 1990s attained an important role worldwide in private and public sector organisations. Large organisations have different organisational levels, where it is useful to apply the balanced scorecard. This emphasises the need for the automation of the measuring system. The information is typically collected from various data sources. These characteristics underline the need to plan a management information system (MIS) to support the management process. Strategic management is bridge building between the perceived present situation and the desired future situation (West-Burnham, 1994; Wheale, 1991). Strategic management involves taking stock of the educational policy, local economy, and other factors in the organisation’s environment. It adapts the organisation to its environment but, on the other hand, tries to exert a positive effect on the development of its local community (Bush & Coleman, 2000; Kettunen, 2003; Middlewood & Lumby, 1998).

Hospital management teams receive voluminous data from a wide variety of sources, but are unable to distill the essential data they require to make good decisions. We have used a methodology which helps teams define and use important management data coupled with an information system that makes this data accessible. Results of our evaluation indicate that the process of developing a balanced scorecard (BSC) indicator system helps management teams to define meaningful strategic objectives and measurable performance indicators. The framework combined with the information acts as an integrating force, providing a shared understanding of the unit's goals. We conclude that a customized decision support system which integrates multiple measures in a BSC framework is a powerful tool for enabling complex decision making by a management team.
