This paper examines on scientometric study of the research performance on biodiversity with the data that have been collected from Web of Science database. The study period was chosen from 2011 to 2020 and retrieved 11902 records for the study. This study was planned to find out year-wise publications on biodiversity research from 2011 to 2020, to examine authorship patterns, to find out the top twenty authors contributions, to find out top twenty institutions that contributed to biodiversity research, to find top twenty sources contributions and to identify top twenty countries contributed on biodiversity research. It was found that the year-wise biodiversity research publications show an increase trend. Among the 17 different document types, in the form of research articles have 9102 papers. Out of the 40843 authors, Schmidt B has occupied the first position with 56 contributed papers. 97.46% papers were contributed by collaborative authors, and very least number of papers published by single authors’. Totally 178 countries were contributed on biodiversity research publications, amongst India is the fifteenth place with 407 publications.

<p>The paper examines 718 dye sensitised solar cell (DSSC) research articles published by Indian scientists during 2011-15, which were indexed in Web of Science. It looked into the entire gamut of research performance by performing sectors, institutions, multifarious collaborative aspects, co-authorship and citations etc. Private universities figure among top performing institutions and nano-related aspects dominated DSSC research. DSSC research by Indian researchers was found to be in tune with the mainstream science in the area as about 90 per cent of the research found place in international journals published from USA, the UK and other advanced countries of Europe with respectable impact factor. </p>

The present scientometric study assesses the publication output of the scientists of Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) during 2008 to 2017 as reflected in the Web of Science database to figure out the research performance, scholarly communication behaviour and its citation impact. The scientists of IACS contribute total 4,304 research articles including 22.58 percent international collaborated articles. Further, the publications have been evaluated in terms of year, types of collaboration, authorship pattern, source journals, impact factor, collaborating institutions, collaborating countries and citations. It is found that majority of the published articles are produced by three authored and the international collaborated articles which receive wider citation impact. The developed countries like USA, Japan, Germany and England are found as the most favoured countries by the scientists of IACS for research collaboration and the Journal of Physical Chemistry C shares maximum research articles. Further, Pareto’s 80/20 principle has also been applied to examine the scattering of journals as well as articles and the VOS viewer software has been used for mapping the network of collaborating countries.

The study deals with the Scientometric study on the publication of “Green Chemistry”. The records are collected from Web of Science Databases for the period of 1991-2014. A total of 11503 publications were identified in Web of Science database. The study reveals that, most of the researchers preferred to publish their research results in journals; as such 77.8% of articles were published in journals. More numbers of articles were published in the year 2014. The authorship trend shows that, out of total 11503 publications published, 88.86% of the publication published under the joint author. Further this study also identified to analyses coverage growth rates, source wise, collaborative coefficient, co-authorship index and Geographical distribution of the literature and citation analysis is also noted

The growth of industrialization has led to an increase in the production of highly contaminated wastewater. Industrial wastewater contains highly complex compounds varying in characteristics and required to be treated before its discharge into a water medium from various industries. However, the efficiency of the treated wastewater from the toxicity reduction perspective is unclear. In order to overcome this barrier, toxicity assessment of the industrial wastewater before and after treatment is crucial. Thus, in this study, a scientometric analysis has been performed on the toxicity assessment of industrial wastewater and sludges, which have been reported in the literature. Web of Science (WoS) core collection database has been considered the main database to execute this analysis. Via the search of pre-researched keywords, a total number of 1038 documents were collected, which have been published from 1951 to 2020. Via CiteSpace software and WoS analyser, these documents went under analysis regarding some of the scientometry criteria, and the detailed results obtained are provided in this study. The total number of published documents on this topic is relatively low during such a long period of time. In conclusion, the need for more detailed contributions among the scientific and industrial communities has been felt.

This study analyses the research output in diabetes literature in India during 2019 indexed on Web of Science database on several aspects includes growth, rank and global publication and share of international collaborative papers. It also analyses the most productive authors, top journals, on-year wise distribution, country wise distribution and authorship pattern of contribution. The highest number of scientific outputs belongs to USA, UK, Netherland, India followed by other countries which considerably had a lower rate of publication. Among all authors globally V. Mohan contributed 75 articles on Diabetes literature. From this study it was concluded that the publication on Diabetes literature was increased and more participation should be needed for the growth of Diabetes literature nationally throughout countries.

The present study aims at describing both the common and the distinguishing features of co authorship trends and patterns in Dyxlexia research output based on the data collected from Web of science database published during the 1989-2017. Outcome of the study shows that multi authored articles 83.09% prevail the single authored articles 16.96%. It also shows that author Shaywitz SE J has got highest 7383 global citations against 54 publications. This study is in support for the fact that Dyslexia research output is collaborative in all aspects Ranking of Authors based on Publications.

In today’s World sensor networks offer various opportunities for data management applications because of their low cost, reliability, scalability, high-speed data processing, and other versatile advantageous purposes. It is a great challenge to organize data effectively and to retrieve the appropriate data from the large volume of various data sets in ad-hoc network databases, mobile databases, etc. The sensor network is necessary for routing of data, performance analysis of data management activities, and data incorporation for the right application. Data management involves intranet and extranet query handling, data access mechanism, modeling of data, different data movement algorithm, data warehousing, and data mining of network database. Additionally, connectivity, design, and lifetime are important issues for sensor networks to perform all data management activities smoothly. In this paper, we are trying to give a cognitive research tendency of Sensor network data management in the last two decades considering all the challenges and issues of both sensor network database and data management functions using Scopus and Web of Science database. To analyze data, different assessments are done considering various parameters like the author, time, publication and citation number, place, source, document separately for Web of Science and Scopus database in global perspective. It is noticed that there is a significant growth of research in data management for sensor networks because of the popularity of this topic.
