THE EFFECT OF WORK MOTIVATION AND SPIRITUAL INTELLIGENCE ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE WITH ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOUR (OCB) AS INTERVENING VARIABLES

This research aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and spiritual intelligence on employee performance with organizational citizenship behavior as an intervening variable, was conducted on organic employees at PT. Barata Indonesia (Persero),, with a total sample of 158 employees. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires filled out by employees then analyzed using SPSS and SEM software.This study will use two kinds of analysis techniques, namely (1) Confirmatory Factor Analysis on SEM which is used to confirm the most dominant factors in one group of variables and (2) Regression Weight on SEM which is used to examine how much the relationship between variables. The results showed that the Organizational Citizenship Behavior variable had the strongest relationship with Employee Performance, with CR a value of 4.249 with a P-value <5%. which means the higher organizational citizenship behavior, the higher the employee's performance.

This study aims to determine the organizational citizenship behavior (OCBC) correlation and work motivation with the performance of CV employees. Bagus Alam Sejahtera, Medan. The sampling technique in this study was total sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 100 people. The instrument used was a Likert scale questionnaire. The data collection technique uses three scales consisting of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), work motivation, and employee performance. The data analysis technique used is Multiple Regression. Based on the results of the study concluded that: 1) There is a significant correlation between organizational citizenship behavior (OCBC) with employee performance with a correlation coefficient (rx1y) of 0.736 with p = 0,000, and r2 = 0.542 with a contribution of 54.2%. 2) There is a significant correlation between work motivation and employee performance with a correlation coefficient (rx2y) of 0.632 with p = 0,000, and r2 = 0.400 with a contribution of 40.0%. 3) There is a significant correlation between organizational citizenship behavior and work motivation together with employee performance, this result is indicated by the linear coefficient value F = 76,386 and p = 0,000, p 0,05 and r2 = 0,612, with a contribution of 61 , 2%. These results indicate that there are still 39.2% contributions from other factors that can affect employee performance. From these results it can be said that the higher organizational citizenship behavior and work motivation, the higher the employee's performance, and conversely the lower the organizational citizenship behavior and work motivation, the lower the employee's performance.

PurposeThis study aims to examine the relationship between transformational leadership, organizational commitment, motivation, organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and employee performance.Design/methodology/approachThis research is located in the province of Papua, and more specifically at the District Secretariat Papua Province. The study was conducted in the months from April to June 2016. This study tested the effect of transformational leadership, organizational commitment, work motivation, OCB and performance Officer Regional Secretariat Papua Province, then the variable research is transformational leadership, organizational commitment, work motivation, OCB and performance officer. Structural equation modeling (SEM) calculation tool is commonly used is the program analysis of moment structures.FindingsThe results of studies show that moderating OCB does not significantly affect the relationship between organizational commitment, transformational leadership, work motivation and the performance of employees at the District Secretariat in Papua Province.Originality/valueOriginality of this paper is on the comprehensive study that combines the variables of transformational leadership, organizational commitment, work motivation, OCB and performance into a complete model of study. Originality for this paper shows the moderation effect of OCB on the effect of organizational commitment, transformational leadership and work motivation on employee performance. This research is located in the Province of Papua, and more specifically at the District Secretariat Papua Province.

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation on employee performance with organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) employees as a mediating variable. The population in this study were all 42 employees of PT Corpus Prima Mandiri Sekuritas. The sample selection method uses a sampling technique saturated with quantitative research and uses a questionnaire to collect data. The results of the study show that there is a positive and significant influence of work motivation and organizational citizenship behavior on employee performance.And then work motivation has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. This study found that direct organizational citizenship behavior mediates the relationship between work motivation and employee performance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) karyawan sebagai variabel mediasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT Corpus Prima Mandiri Sekuritas yang berjumlah 42 orang. Metode pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh dengan penelitian kuantitatif dan menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja dan organizational citizenship behavior berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dan kemudian motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan untuk organizational citizenship behavior. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa secara tidak langsung, organizational citizenship behavior memediasi hubungan antara motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan.

<p>The employees’ existence as an organizational locomotive need to get attention for management because, it is employees who make the organization perform well. Spiritual intelligence and organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) are known to have effect for improving employee performance. To see this effect, then research was conducted at Sharia Bank in Gorontalo Province with the aim of analyzing and describing the effect of: spiritual intelligence on OCB, spiritual intelligence on employee performance, OCB on employee performance, and spiritual intelligence on employee performance through OCB. The findings of this study are spiritual intelligence had positive and significant effect on OCB. OCB has positive and significant effect on employee performance. Spiritual intelligence has positive and insignificant effect on employee’s performance, but spiritual intelligence has positive and significant effect for employee performance through OCB.</p><p>Keberadaan karyawan sebagai lokomotif organisasi perlu mendapat perhatian oleh manajemen karena karyawan yang membuat organisasi berkinerja baik. Kecerdasan spiritual dan perilaku kewargaan organisasional (OCB) diketahui memiliki implikasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Untuk melihat implikasi ini, maka dilakukan penelitian pada Bank Syariah di Provinsi Gorontalo dengan tujuan menganalisis dan menggambarkan implikasi dari: kecerdasan spiritual terhadap OCB, kecerdasan spiritual terhadap kinerja karyawan, OCB terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui OCB. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan spiritual memiliki implikasi positif dan signifikan terhadap OCB. OCB berimplikasi positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kecerdasan spiritual berimplikasi positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, tetapi kecerdasan spiritual berimplikasi positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui OCB</p>

The effect of Intelligence on employee performance is highly essential, although contradictions related to the current research found. This research aims to analyze the direct and indirect effect of spiritual intelligence and emotional intelligence on employee performance through Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). This research using Partial Least Square (PLS) with 50 respondents as samples. It shows that emotional intelligence has a direct and indirect effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, spiritual intelligence only has a direct effect on employee performance. Emotional intelligence can increase employee performance indirectly through OCB. Management implies that the supervisor is supposed to conduct an assessment on OCB to enhance employee performance continuously.JEL Classification: D23, J24

The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the influence of organizational culture, work motivation and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) to employee performance. This research is conducted in Pamekasan Regency Government. The samples of this research are 116 respondents. The sample technique which used in this research is proportional stratified random sampling. This study employs questionnaire by a large number of answers based on a 5-point likert scale to collect the needed data and information.  The result of this research reveals that the work motivation and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) influence to employee performance significantly. Nevertheless, organizational culture has not significant effect on employee performance at Pamekasan Regency Government.

This research was conducted to analyze the impact of leadership style and organizational culture on employee performance through organizational citizenship behavior as an interverning variable moderated by work motivation. The data collection method used in this research was a census technique using a Likert scale. The instrument test in this study used the IBM SPSS Statistics 26 software with the value of the validity and reliability of the r table sought at a significance of 0.05 with a 2-tailed. Inferential analysis and path analysis in this study used Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis tools, namely variance-based SEM with SmartPLS 3 software. The results showed that hypothesis 1 was accepted, hypothesis 2 was accepted, hypothesis 3 was accepted, hypothesis 4 was rejected, hypothesis 5 was accepted, hypothesis 6 was accepted. The current Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in many hospitals in the world experiencing difficulties both in terms of management and infrastructure in providing services because the number of patients has increased in a short time. The human aspect has a significant role in hospitals, with the characteristics of various ages, education levels, position levels, and length of work. Menteng Mitra Afia General Hospital (MMA GH) is one of 144 hospitals in Jakarta that accepts COVID-19 patients and has had significant changes in terms of service and management. In this study, the authors succeeded in analyzing the influence of work motivation, work environment, and job satisfaction on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and their impact on employee performance at MMA GH during the COVID 19 pandemic. Sampling method with a total sampling of 121 respondents from the population of employees who returned the questionnaire. The technical data analysis technique uses the Structural Equation Modeling, where the data processing uses the Partial Least Square (Smart-PLS) version 3.0 program. From the results of data analysis, it was found that work motivation has the most significant loading factor in its influence on OCB and employee performance, followed by Job Satisfaction and Work Environment. The conclusions that can be drawn from the results of data analysis and discussion are as follows: (1) Work Motivation has an effect on OCB (2) Work Environment has no effect on OCB (3) Job Satisfaction has an effect on OCB (4) Work motivation has an effect on Employee Performance (5) OCB has an effect on Employee Performance (6) Job Satisfaction has an effect on Employee Performance at MMA GH.
