<p>The purpose of this research is to determine the Impacts of Metacognitive Strategy on Mathematics Problems Solving. Design used true experiment design in the form of posttest only control design. This research was done by taken two class consists of 50 students with random class sampling. Data collcection used mathematics problem solving test in the form of essay test, all questions of test was validated empirically. Data analyze used t test, after the data fulfill a series tests i.e. normality test and homogeneity test. The result is t test= 7.23 in distribution table for ?=0.05, t table = 1.74, so it can be concluded that there are significant impacts of metacognitive strategy on Mathematics Problem solving.</p>

<p><em>The benefit of this research is to analyze the Impacts of Generative Learning Model on Mathematics problem Solving Skills. The method used in this research is experiment through t test. To collect the data about generative learning model, the writer used her idea, scientific books, scientific journals, internet and others documents. The research was conducted on the students of class VII H and VII G at Public SMP in  west Cikarang. The sample is about 60 students. Before using generative learning model’s instruments, they was validated and past reability test. After that the writer  done normality test through chi kuadrat test and homogeneity test through fisher test. Based on the research,  t test ? t table (2.21 ? 1.697). it  means there are significant impacts of Generative learning model on Mathematics problem solving. It can be concluded that there are significant impacts of Generative Learning Model on Mathematics problem Solving Skills.</em></p>

The ability to solve mathematics problems is an ability needed in the learning process. Mathematic anxiety and student learning styles are among the factors that influence the success of mathematics problem-solving ability. By paying attention to mathematics anxiety and learning styles possessed by students, it is expected that the ability to solve mathematics problems will increase. This research is a field research type with an Ex Post Facto method and multiple linear regression statistical data analysis techniques. Data was collected through mathematics anxiety questionnaires, student learning style questionnaires, and mathematics problem-solving skills of students at Madrasah Aliyah level. The results show that (1) there is no significant effect of mathematics anxiety on the ability to solve mathematics problems with the tcount is 1.537 and the significance level is 0.126 ≥ 0.05. (2) there is a positive and significant effect of learning styles on the ability to solve mathematics problems with the value of tcount is 2.457 and a significance level of 0.015 <0.05.

The research abaut the effect of the use of the pair check and snowball throwing learning model on problem solving abilities was carried out with the aim of recognizing the influence of the use of the model on problem solving abilities. The research was conducted in SMP 06 Diponegoro with 27 respondents in VIII A and 30 students in VIII B who were taken with the Purposive Sampling technique. This type of research is a true-experimental research with a Posttest-Only Control Design and uses a quantitative approach. The method taken in this research is test and documentation. The data analysis that used is normality test, homogeneity test, and t test (Independent T Test) with the help of SPSS software version 20.0. Based on the research results obtained p-value 0.02 < 0.05 then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus it can be said that there is an effect on the use of the pair check and snowball throwing learning model on students' problem solving abilities Keywords: pair check, snowball throwing, problem solving skills

<pre><em><span lang="EN-US">The purpose of the research is to determine the Impacts of Connected Mathematics project Learning Method on  Student’s Mathematics Problem solving Skills at SMP Putra Bangsa. The research method is experiment. Sample of the research is taken from affordable population by using cluster random sampling technique. Size of population is 40 students that divided into two class. The instrument used is essay test as much as 6 items. Analysis technique in this research is  t test. Testing requirements of data analysis is Liliefors test for normality and fisher test for homogeneity test. In experiment class   L test = 0.1143 and L table = 0.190. in control class L test = 0.0868 and L table=0.190, because L test ? L table, so Ho is received and it can be concluded that the data of the population in normal distribution. F test for homogeneity , F test=1.826 and F table=2.17, because F test? F table, so both of class has same varians or homogen. The result of data analyze t test=3.16 and t table=2.03 at significance level ?=0.05 and freedom degrees=38, so there are impacts of connected mathematics project learning model on mathematics problem solving skills.</span></em></pre>

The aim of this study was to describe the differences of students' problem-solving abilities in completing mathematics problem in the form of story-based problems in terms of gender difference. The type of research used is qualitative and quantitative descriptive research using research instruments, namely tests of problem-solving abilities and interview. Selection of subjects using a random cluster random technique, based on teacher considerations. The subjects in this study were 26 students of class IX of SMPN 8 Mataram in the academic year of 2020/2021. The data collection method started from making observations at school, then distributing the problem-solving ability test which contains 2 problems in the form of elaborative questions. AT the last stage, the researcher conducted interviews with 6 people who were obtained from each representative of the criteria for the test results of the problem-solving abilities that had been given. The data analysis technique in this study was conducted by looking at the test scores of mathematics problem-solving abilities seen from the criteria of high, moderate, and low. The results obtained were: (1) the ability of female students in grade IX at SMPN 8 Mataram to solve mathematics problems related to the statistical topic in form of story-based problems was in moderate criteria with the average score obtained was 73.44, (2) the ability of male students in grade IX at SMPN 8 Mataram to solve mathematics problems related to the statistical topic in form of story-based problems was in moderate criteria with the average score obtained was 77,64, and (3) the difference in problem-solving abilities of male and female students lies on the steps used in solving mathematics problems based on Polya problem solving stages.
