This study aims to determine students' mathematical problem solving abilities based on their high, medium and low level of ability in solving the problem. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data collecting method that use are observation, test, and interview. The results showed that the problem-solving ability of high-level subjects reached an average of 75%, the problem-solving abilities of medium-level subjects reached an average of 67%, the problem-solving abilities of low-level subjects reached an average of 67%, out of a maximum score of 100. The result of interview, ability level high, medium, and low, students are capable and good even though it does not reach 100%. So, it can be concluded that high, medium, and low level abilities are good for going through the problem solving ability indicator.  Keywords: problem solving, online learning

During the current pandemic, the development of information and communication technology is very much needed in online learning. The problem in this study is how to describe the level of problem-solving abilities carried out by students in solving math problems on number material during online learning. This study aims to identify the difficulties of seventh grade students of SMP Nurul Chotib Wringinagung in learning mathematics on numbers. The type and approach in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques in this study were tests, interviews and questionnaires, while data processing used the percentage formula P = × 100%. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the difficulty of grade VII students of SMP Nurul Chotib Wringinagung in number material was the lack of understanding of students in solving problem solving problems, often incorrectly using formulas in solving problems, as well as difficulty distinguishing between planning and implementing plans.   Keywords: difficulties problem solvig, numbers, online learning

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the e-learning model using the quipper school. This research uses classroom research. The subject of this research is the VIII grade students at MTs. Nurul Ulum. Many students, there are 20 people as recipients of the action and the researchers use data collection methods in the from of interview, observations, and tests. The result of this study can be seen from the indicators of the success of the cycle, in cycle I it can be seen  that student learning outcomes get 60% then in cycle II 85%. From these indicators of success, it is concluded that the application of the e-learning model using the quipper school application on student learning outcomes has increased   Keywords: e-learning, quipper school, learning outcomes

The quality of the analyzed items was reviewed in terms of validity, reliability, differentiation and difficulty level. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were class VII A with 32 students. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the quality of the mathematical questions with the integer material in terms of the validity of the questions that were declared valid were 13 questions (62%) and there were 8 invalid questions (38%). In terms of reliability, there were 21 questions (100%) and 0% unreliable questions with a total r11 of 0.71. In terms of distinguishing power, there are 3 questions (14%) with good distinguishing power, 1 question (5%), 2 questions (10%), 2 questions (10%) have bad distinguishing power there are 15 questions (71%). In terms of difficulty level, there are 7 questions in the difficult category (33%). There were 12 questions in the medium category (57%) and there were 2 questions in the easy category (10%). During the current pandemic, the development of information and communication technology is very much needed in daring learning. The problem this study is how to describe the level of problem-solving abilities carried out by students in solving math problems on the number pattern material according to Polya during daring learning. This study aims to describe the problem-solving abilities according to Polya during daring learning on number pattern material for class VIII MTs. Hasanuddin Semboro with the subjects studied were 6 out of 23 students. This research method type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The results showed that the, students tended to be incomplete in writing down known and asked data and students are able to describe number pattern problems using symbols. At the stage, students are able to recall the number pattern problems that have been resolved. At the stage of carrying out, students are able to carry out their plans and check for the previous steps to have been carried out. At the re-checking stage, some students are able to re-examine and steps that have been carried out.   Keywords: problem solving, number pattern, online learning

Media or teaching materials are things that are owned by a teacher for the learning process. A teacher must be creative in designing and utilizing technological media in mathematics learning, smartphones are tools for learning based on augmented reality to make virtual thinking easier in learning mathematics, especially flat-sided building materials to provide virtual-based simulations for student thinking. The benefits of using augmented reality-based media 1) students' critical thinking and interested in learning 2) Helping students with learning activities 3) can be used anywhere It only requires batteries 4) minimal RAM to operate does not require expensive costs 5) practical and efficient in this study using descriptive qualitative research method, research place at SMP Negeri One Atap Kandang Kapongan Situbondo for grade VIII students. Constraints in utilizing augmented reality learning media 1). Not accustomed to inspiring 2) students who do not have Android-based smartphones 3) using smart phones in schools is not for learning. Keywords: augmented reality , Build Flat Side Space

Learning is a key activity of the educational process. Researchers conducted observations in class VII-A MTs As-sunniyah Ranuyoso virgin and approximately 80% of the data obtained shows student scores ≤ 70. This study aimed to determine Increased Activity dan Student Result in studying the math the subject is social arithmetic with probing prompting learning model. Type of research is a classroom action research (CAR). The procedure used is the model cycle based on these result, the percentage of student learning in the first cycle of 60,3%, and a second cycle 0f 92,8%. While the result of daily tests of student in the first cycle obtained average value 31,5, while on the second cycle of 79,95. It is proved that the activity and student learning outcomes can be improved with the implementation of probing prompting learning model. For a particular subject, type probing prompting learning model is used to avoid boredom in learning actifity.   Keywords: probing prompting, learning activity, learning outcomes.

This study aims to describe the results of the development of a character-based mathematics education module. This study uses a research model developed by Thiagarajan (1974) which is more popularly known as 4D (define, design, develop, dessiminate). However, due to the covid-19 virus pandemic, the research only reached the development stage. At the develop stage, a validation test and a readability test were carried out, for the module readability test was carried out by a small group test totaling six students. The results of this study indicate that the module has met the valid criteria. based on the results of the media validator score showed 68.3% with valid criteria. and the material validator shows a score of 8.9% with valid criteria, and the average score of the two validators is 76.1% which means that the module has been used to be used.   Keywords: learning module, character, triangle and quadrilateral

This research is a classroom action research which the aims is to form students character in the classroom learning process and to determine student activities and student learning outcomes in VIIIB class at Darul Mukhlasin MTs for the 2019/2020 school year with 26 students as the reserh subject. Data collection methods used were documentation, observation, tests and interviews than data analysis in this study using qualitative analysis with the percentage of student activity and student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the average percentage of student activeness in the first cycle was 59%, and in the second cycle it was 80%. This shows that from cycle I to cycle II student learning activities increase. Student learning completeness before the study was 42.3%, in the first cycle it was 53%, and in the second cycle it was 91%. This shows that from before the research to cycle I then to cycle II student learning outcomes have increased. Keywords: discovery learning, learning activity and learning outccomes.
