YouTube is reshaping teaching and learning across the world and is becoming a preferred platform for students' procedural learning to acquire relevant skills and knowledge in implementing any tasks. The aims of this research are to assess factors influencing student intention to use YouTube for procedural learning. In addition, the technology acceptance model (TAM) was applied as the underpinning theory. Data was analyzed to examine the hypothesized relationships. Results revealed that content richness, task-technology fit, YouTube self-efficacy, and vividness significantly affect students' behavioral intention to use YouTube for procedural learning. Results infer that YouTube enlarges its function as a mass-oriented means for procedural learning as students develop positive perceived usefulness of YouTube to influence their behavioral intention to use YouTube. This study integrated TAM and assessed factors influencing student intention to use YouTube for procedural learning. Future research directions are also put forward.

Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) has received great recognition through the various research conducted on determining users’ acceptance of relevant technology innovation. Past researches have focused on technology innovation in education such as e-learning, Learning Management Systems and online applications. The 21st century teaching and learning framework has identified the relevance of the Internet of Things (IoT) and online applications as part of the teaching and learning process. Besides e-learning, MOOCs, Virtual and Augmented Reality have also found their place in the emerging teaching and learning platforms. As Virtual Reality only became popularized in classrooms in the recent years, not much is known about users’ acceptance of this technology innovation in the classroom. This paper, which is based on the TAM, attempted to identify the factors that could affect the respondents’ acceptance of Virtual Reality (VR) in classrooms. Factors on the perceived ease of use (PEoU) and perceived usefulness (PU) affecting the respondents’ attitude and intention to use VR in their classrooms were studied. Employing a quantitative research design, a set of questionnaire based on constructs adapted by Davis (1989) and adapted from past researches (Ngai et al, 2005; Weng et al, 2018, Muhamad Sufi, 2019) was distributed to a group of in-service teachers who were pursuing their postgraduate studies in one of the faculties in Universiti Teknologi MARA. The data was analyzed using SPSS in determining the relationships between the independent variables and the dependent variables. The analysis has further confirmed past research findings. However, in the context of VR, some suggestions to improve current practice are suggested. Policymakers and decision-makers could be enlightened by the present study’s findings. Likewise, teachers may find VR a more convincing platform to be integrated in their classrooms.

In this paper, a personal narrative autoethnographic methodology is used to begin mapping a transformative learning journey towards teaching and learning for social justice in early childhood teacher education. In autoethnography, personal lived experience is the primary source of data. This inquiry explores two stories of personal transformative learning using a journey metaphor to structurally frame the inquiry. Through a process of writing as inquiry (Richardson, 2003) and emotional introspection (Ellis, 1991) and using a conceptual framework based on postmodern perspectives, this autoethnographic research paper reveals the steps toward critical consciousness (Freire, 2006) taken by the author/researcher-a student in early childhood teacher education-as she uses personal narratives of lived experience in early childhood teacher education as primary data to explore the implications of this transormative learning process to explore themes around teaching and learning towards social justice in early childhood teacher education programs.

The learning process in West Sumatera, Indonesia, changed into an online-based system due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which involved educators and students using many platforms of e-learning for teaching and learning. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to evaluate the use of e-learning platforms among students at universities in West Sumatera, Indonesia, during the Covid-19 pandemic, particularly widely used Google Classroom. This research employs the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) by considering relevant external factors related to the pandemic situation and examining their effects on the acceptance of Google Classroom. A questionnaire was distributed from December 11th to December 31st, 2020, to collect data via an online-based survey. Using Cochran's formula with a confidence level of 95%, 383 students were selected as samples, while Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was applied as a method for data analysis. The result showed that the facility had made the learning process easy for students, which influenced its usefulness. The facility is related to the possession of the required tools and knowledge to utilize the technology, alongside the significant effect on ease of use and usefulness. When adequately provided, the ease and benefit of using Google Classroom are maximally felt when distance learning is ongoing. Consequently, the ease of use positively influenced the benefits of the platform as its features were simple and benefited the students during the learning process. The usefulness of Google Classroom also had a positive influence on attitude towards the platform, and this variable finally determined the intention to use, which was significantly influenced by the perceived usefulness of e-learning. Therefore, this study shows that factors that determine facility, such as the internet, devices used by students, or knowledge to use Google Classroom, are important in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
