This paper briefly analyzes the structure and conservation approaches of building energy consumption, analyzes the forming reason and influence factors of heating and air-conditioning energy consumption and proposes the passive energy conservation designing strategies of low energy consumption building. Through the passive methods of building design, envelop enclosure and planning landscape, the goal of last year building low energy conservation can be achieved.

Sustainable development of the country is possible by adapting various energy conservation measures. Energy conservation helps in using energy in effectivemanner. Application of advanced technology and improved operation and maintenance practices contributes towards energy conservation. Smart streetlight framework is an essential piece of the smart city, which represents 10-40% aggregate power utilization in the city. In this paper the energy audit report is presented for streetlights in the industry and also presented various energy conservation measures with the help of sensors and automation. It was observed that Passive Infra-red (PIR) sensor helps a lot in saving energy where movement of people is low.

Nowadays the safety of the air conditioning systems is paid more attention to. All cold outdoor air systems due to their particular advantages such as credible safety, better indoor air quality, saving more building space and being in favor of the energy conservation in some given conditions [1] are discussed in this paper. The composing of all cold outdoor air system is outlined and the mathematical models of energy consumption evaluation are presented. With an actual example by using the method of equivalent weight full load operation time, the influence factors to the annual primary energy consumptions in all cold outdoor air systems, such as: the dew point temperature, the COP (Coefficient of Performance) of chiller, the equivalent weight full load operation time of chiller and the efficiency of enthalpy exchanger etc. are compared and analyzed. And the optimal application modes for energy conservation of all cold outdoor air systems are proposed. These can be good references for the application of all cold outdoor air systems.

PurposeThe purpose of this study is to extract the real requirements of the owner (or users) for the construction project in the operation and maintenance stage completely and accurately and carry out the construction based on the requirements, to make the project status and operation and maintenance requirements (RO&M) consistent after delivered.Design/methodology/approachThis study creatively proposes the operation and maintenance functions deployment (OMFD) under RO&M. In addition, the OPAR (naming is made up of the initials of owners, project, analysis and result) model is constructed to fully identify the requirements of both owners and projects. In this study, three typical construction projects are taken as examples to calculate the correlation strength between project characteristics (PC) and operation and maintenance requirements through the Apriori algorithm, and order parameters are obtained from the cost chain.FindingsThis study found that there are significant differences in the correlation strength between 11 types of RO&M and PC, in which the “cost of types” (TC) correlation of residential housing and factory buildings is the largest, while the largest correlation demand of commercial buildings is “safety of types” (TS) and “system” (S). Simultaneously, through the calculation of order parameters, the most influential factors on project characteristics are obtained.Practical implicationsThis study could effectively help the owner (or users) to check whether the delivered project fully satisfy their real requirements and also extract the key technical points to realize RO&M, which can guide the accurate construction of the same type of projects.Originality/valueThis research establishes OPAR model to accurately identify the requirements of the project in the operation and maintenance stage and establishes the association rules between the requirements and the construction scheme, which is helpful for the project to construct under the expected requirements.

In the context of the company's cost-reduction reform, lean production operation and maintenance cost management as the goal, production and maintenance cost analysis as the carrier, the existing power grid production and maintenance business and financial accounting costs to achieve "industry-finance integration" as the goal of management projects. Under the strategic background of reducing cost and increasing benefit, the implementation of this project is of great significance to optimize the main part of the cost of the company to optimize the configuration of production cost, to control reasonably, to enhance management.
