Improving the quality of education is a problem that is still experienced by many educational institutions. To improve the quality of education, institutions need a system to help achieve quality education quality. So this study aims to analyze the application of Total Quality Management in the school accreditation program as an effort to improve the quality of education. This research is a literature study by taking data from several books and literature. This data collection technique uses documentation techniques and data analysis techniques using critical analysis which is interesting from several research documents. The results of this study indicate that improving the quality of education is carried out by implementing Total Quality Management. Total Quality Management is carried out by continuous improvement, determining quality standards, changing culture, changing organizations, maintaining relationships with customers and focusing on customer satisfaction. and have a commitment to change.

This article aims to describe how the implementation total quality management in improving education quality. Using the literature study method by looking for relevant theoretical references to sources and books, articles. based on the results of the TQM article is an activity that satisfies the customer's heart and also improves quality. There are several items contained in the Implementation of TQM in improving the quality of education, namely the vision and mission of the organization must be clear, satisfy the customers (teachers, education staff), have clear planning.

Masa sekarang ini, pendidikan menjadi prioritas menanamkan nilai-nilai moral pada generasi di Indonesia, sehingga menjadi urgen menemukan cara bagaimana meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Oleh karenanya dalam meningkatkan kualitas mutu pendidikan harus menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang mampu memecahkan masalah global dalam dunia pendidikan. Total Quality Management (TQM) adalah konsep manajemen sekolah dalam melaksanakan pendidikan serta diharapkan bisa memberikan perubahan yang lebih baik sesuai dengan pembangunan, tuntutan dan dinamika masyarakat. Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Mamba’ul Hisan Sidayu Gresik telah menerapkan empat konsep dalam TQM untuk meningkatkan kualitas mutu pendidikan: pertama, mutu dalam proses penerimaan siswa di lembaga ini; kedua, kepuasan pelanggan yaitu memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik; ketiga, perbaikan terus menerus dalam rekrutmen guru yang berkualitas dan mempunyai keahlian lainnya dan setiap akhir semester melakukan evaluasi terhadap hasil kinerja guru, peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran; dan keempat, melibatkan seluruh komponen yang ada di lembaga pendidikan. Kata Kunci: total quality management, mutu pendidikan, madrasah Nowadays, education is a priority to instill moral values ??in generations in Indonesia. So it becomes urgent to find ways to improve the quality of education. Therefore, in improving the quality of education, it must create human resources capable of solving global problems in the world of education. Total Quality Management (TQM) is the concept of school management in implementing education and is expected to provide a better change in accordance with the development, demands, and dynamics of the community. Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Mamba'ul Hisan Sidayu Gresik has applied four concepts in TQM to improve the quality of education quality, first, the quality of the student admission process at this institution; second, customer satisfaction is to meet the needs of students; third, continuous improvement in the recruitment of qualified teachers and other experts and at the end of each semester evaluates the performance of teachers, improving the quality of learning; and fourth, it is involving all components in educational institutions.

<p><em>Management is the all process for carrying out a job through someone else done by two or more people to achieve a state goal which has been determined.  In other word, management is a means of managing the organization. Improving the quality of education need to continuous quality improvement which is a formula or approach should be one of the paradigms of school based management. Improvement of quality approach countinuely is expected to overcome the problem of education quality’s which is not only uses conventional approaches, but in need of an approach in order to optimize resources and fund. One of the improvements in the quality of education is the fulfillment of the needs for facilities and adequate, quality, and ready-to-use educational infrastructure. So as for the impact of the lack of proper infrastructure of school institutions, namely that it can reduce student achievement in learning activities, especially in class. Therefore, to improve the quality of education in schools, management of facilities and infrastructure is needed to meet the needs of the student learning process at school. This study aims to determine the implementation of total quality management in improving the quality of infrastructure in schools. This research using library research with analytical study methods (library research), namely research carried out using a library alias literature, either in the form of notes, books, journals, or reports of previous research results. The analytical study used is content analytical and analytical descriptions of total quality management to improve infrastructure at school. The results of this study indicate that the facilities and infrastructure at the school are inadequate standards. Therefore, the use of infrastructure in the learning process must also be improved, as an increase in service quality continuously meets the reality and expectations for customers.

The implementation of total quality management is applied to every educational institution as an effort to improve the quality of education. In this case, it is important to carry out management functions in each educational institution. This article discusses the implementation of total quality management in educational institutions to seek to improve the quality of education in achieving a quality standard in education. Every educational institution should show better quality and be able to compete. This is intended so that educational institutions continue to gain the trust of the public and stakeholders. To continue to get this, it must be improved continuously, both physically and non-physically. So as to make a quality educational institution and guaranteed quality. There are several main things that need to be considered in implementing total quality management in the world of education, namely: continuous quality improvement; determine quality standards, cultural change; changes in the organization; and maintain relationships with other agencies and customers and evaluate the system if anything is not appropriate
