Organic Chemistry is one of the difficult subjects, especially in reaction and strechochemical mechanisms. One effort to reduce it is to utilize teaching materials. This study aims to develop organic chemistry teaching materials on free radical reaction material in the form of constructivism-based student worksheets (LKM). The research method used research and development research design with a 4D development model which consists of the stages of define, design, development, and disseminate. Development of LKM was assessed based on validity criteria and limited trials. The validity of LKM was achieved and assessed by three validators. Limited trials were conducted for the 6th semester students of the chemical education study program totaling 15 people and also three organic chemistry lecturers to see the appropriateness of developed LKM from the lecturers' perspective. The overall LKM results of its validity showed that the LKM has 95.05% valid. The results of limited trials based on the responses of students and lecturers each obtained a percentage of 84.02% and 87.22%, respectively. Based on the results of validation and limited testing of constructivism-based LKM on the material of free radical reaction developed it is included in the category of valid and can be used in the learning process.

This research was aimed to produce a valid electronic graphic novel on free radical reaction subject and to find out the student’s response to the developed product. This research employed Research & Development (R&D) method by using Thiagarajan’s 4D model with modification, in which applied only three of four steps in 4D model. The developed product was validated by experts. The responses toward developed product were collected from the students of Chemistry Education FKIP Untan who have taken organic chemistry course. Data collection tools used were validation sheets and student’s response questionnaires on the developed product. The validation’s result from the experts showed that the developed product was very proper in terms of content, presentation, linguistic, and graphic aspects with consecutive total scores of 94.0%, 95.0%, 89.0%, and 100,00% respectively. The results of the student’s responses in small group trials and in large group trials were of 82.5% with high category and of 83.2% with very high category, respectively. Thus, this electronic graphic novel on radical reaction has very good potential as a learning media to attract students to learn free radical reaction and its application in daily life.

Supercritical water gasification is a promising waste-to-energy technology with the ability to convert aqueous and/or heterogeneous organic feedstocks to high-value gaseous products. Reaction behavior of complex molecules in supercritical water can be inferred through knowledge of the reaction pathways of model compounds in supercritical water. In this study methanol, ethanol, and isopropyl alcohol are gasified in a continuous supercritical water reactor at temperatures between 500 and 560 °C, and for residence times between 3 and 8 s. In situ Raman spectroscopy is used to rapidly identify and quantify reaction products. The results suggest the dominance of chain-branching, free radical reaction mechanisms that are responsible for decomposing primary alcohols in the supercritical water environment. The presence of a catalytic surface is proposed to be highly significant for initiating radical reactions. Global reaction pathways are proposed, and mechanisms for free radical reaction initiation, propagation, and termination are discussed in light of these and previously published experimental results.

Kata kunci: bahan ajar, blended learning, ADDIEThis study aims to develop teaching materials in the Basic Mathematics course in the Mathematics Study Program, Surabaya State University. The model used for the development of teaching materials in this study is the ADDIE development model consisting of 5 stages, namely the Analysis, Design (Design), Development (Development), Implementation (Implementation), and Evaluation (Evaluation). Meanwhile, the method used to analyze data is the checklist method at each step in the Instructional Design Process Step / Action Checklist, if not then there must be an alternative step taken or there is a relevant reason that does not affect the development process. Lectures on Basic Mathematics using blended learning teaching materials have been prepared based on the ADDIE development model. Every step in the Instructional Design Process Step / Action Checklist has beencarried out and has produced teaching materials based on blended learning. This research begins with the creation of a story line which is a guide in the development of teaching materials. From the analysis of student questionnaire responses, it was obtained that more than 75% of students gave positive responses not only to the form of lectures that combined online and offline lectures through blended learning but also about the use of material delivered online through Vi-learn Unesa. Keywords: ADDIE, blended learning, teaching materials

Chemical bonding contains basic concepts that are used to understand almost any topic in chemistry. Several research results show that there are still many misconceptions. Therefore, teaching materials are needed that can provide a correct understanding of the basic concepts in chemical bonding materials. This study aims to produce inquiry model chemistry teaching materials with cognitive conflict strategies for Muallimat NW Pancor high school. The development method used definne, design, development and dissemination. Data analysis was conducted in the form of product validity tests and students' critical thinking skills tests. However, in this development research, it only stopped at the third stage. The data obtained were quantitative and qualitative. The results is (1) the feasibility of the material was 84% (very feasible); (2) the systematic feasibility of the presentation is 85% (very feasible); (3) language feasibility is 85.33% (very feasible). So that overall the teaching materials produced are categorized as very feasible and can be used in chemistry learning.
