AbstrakBerkembangnya teknologi informasi memberikan pengaruh yang cukup bagi masyarakat, tetapi terkadang ada beberapa teknologi yang kurang diterima oleh masyarakat karena beberapa faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis rasio metode TAM dan UTAUT dalam mengukur keberhasilan penggunaan aplikasi Ojek Online di Sleman, Yogyakarta. Metode yang paling banyak digunakan untuk menganalisis keberhasilan penggunaan teknologi adalah metode TAM dan UTAUT. Metode TAM dan UTAUT juga merupakan metode terbaik karena mampu menjelaskan perilaku pengguna terhadap penggunaan teknologi. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah pengguna aplikasi Ojek Online di Kabupaten Sleman di Yogyakarta yang terdiri dari siswa dan masyarakat umum. Responden dalam penelitian ini diambil secara acak dari seluruh populasi. Data yang dikumpulkan diolah menggunakan SPSS agar mudah dianalisis lebih lanjut. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode korelasional. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa metode TAM dan UTAUT mampu menganalisis penerimaan aplikasi Ojek Online meskipun nilai beberapa konstruk yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini hanya mempengaruhi penggunaan aktual sebesar 8% dan 5,2%. Kata kunci: Analisa Model, Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), Aplikasi Ojek Online, Uji Determinasi

A useful Information System is difficult to conceive and develop. Research on technology has revealed that end-user likes or dislikes may matter towards the success or failure of information system (IS). A highly complicated system in which developers have put lots of development efforts may fail if the end-user dislikes it after its initial installation. In software engineering literature it is claimed that system rejection is mostly caused by not meeting the non-functional requirements. In this paper, a study is being done on ‘turnitin®’ as technology and its acceptance to a group of students in order to find out confirmation of result as claimed by TAM while it is a post implementation research activity for technology acceptance.

Abstract Older adults with a chronic health condition (e.g. hypertension) use various self-management methods. Healthcare technologies have the potential to support health self-management. However, it is necessary to understand the acceptance of these technologies as a precursor to older adults’ adoption and integration into their health plan. Our focus was on the factors older adults with hypertension initially consider when introduced to three new healthcare technologies that might support their health self-management. We compared their considerations for a blood pressure monitor, an electronic pillbox and a multifunction robot to simulate incrementally more complex technologies. Twenty-three participants (aged 65–84) completed four questionnaires and a semi-structured interview. The interview transcripts were analysed using a thematic analysis approach. We identified the factors that were frequently mentioned among the participants for each of the three healthcare technologies. The factors that older adults initially considered were familiarity, perceived benefits, perceived ease of use, perceived need for oneself, relative advantage, complexity and perceived need for others. Upon further reflection, participants considered advice acceptance, compatibility, convenience, facilitating conditions, perceived usefulness, privacy, subjective norm, and trust. We integrated the factors that older adults considered into the Healthcare Technology Acceptance Model (H-TAM), which elucidates the complexity of healthcare technology acceptance and provides guidance for future explorations.

Financial literacy was very important to be introduced since the early children. In Malaysia, the children began to start for formal education of the stage in preschool. This paper will discuss about the acceptance of technology as a method to teach that kids for financial literacy. With the development in technology at present, using of teaching based on technology was very important for all levels including children at preschool age. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was widely used in studies related to the use of technology applications in society. There are two factors variables that will test on this paper. The first one was perceived useful and the second one was easy to use. Quantitative method will be used to collect all of data. The questionnaire survey was distributed to a total of 136 respondents which it’s have been use the financial literacy application incorporated as a tools to teach the kids. Findings of the study indicate the importance of technology as a medium to teach kids regarding the financial literacy.

Indonesian Eastern Fleet Training Command currently has the facilities to train professional soldiers in the shooting.A simulator facility in the form of computer-based clinic shooting is called Virtual Arms Solution FTS D-423 (VAS).Need to analyse the relationship between perceived ease of use and usefulness of VAS in order to determine thelevel of acceptance. Both these factors are modelled by the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) which canexplain the factors that influence the actual receipt of the use of technology. After that, the relationship between thetwo factors that have been modelled with the Technology Acceptance Model to be treated using Path Analysis(Path Analysis). Where the path analysis was used to analyse the causal relationships between variables in order todetermine the effect of the direct and indirect causes of the variable to a variable result. Based on the analysis anddiscussion, it is obtained as follows that the ease and usefulness of a positive effect on Attitude using VAS positiveeffect on Behavioural Intention using VAS. This chapter aims to determine the variables that explain using mobile banking. This study identifies and investigates the factors that influence the adoption of mobile banking, and specifically focuses on the evaluation of mobile banking application with users or non-users. The research model includes the basic concepts of the technology acceptance model. The technology acceptance model (TAM) tries to explain the adoption process and underlying influencing factors in technology acceptance. The survey was conducted to gather data which was coded in SPSS 17. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to analyze data, and structural equation modeling using Amos 17 software was used to validate the research model. The result shows that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived normative pressure significantly influences customer attitude, which affects the adoption of mobile banking.

Abstract Background Mobile phone applications (apps) have been shown to successfully facilitate the self-management of chronic disease. This study aims to evaluate firstly the experiences, barriers and facilitators to app usage among people with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) and secondly determine recommendations to improve usage of diabetes apps. Methods Participants were aged ≥ 18 years with a diagnosis of T2DM for ≥ 6 months. Semi-structured phone-interviews were conducted with 16 app and 14 non-app users. Interviews were based on the Technology Acceptance Model, Health Information Technology Acceptance Model (HITAM) and the Mobile Application Rating Scale. Data were analysed using deductive content analysis. Results Most app-users found apps improved their T2DM self-management and health. The recommendation of apps by health professionals, as well as positive interactions with them, improved satisfaction; however, only a minority of patients had practitioners involved in their app use. All non-app users had never had the concept discussed with them by a health professional. Facilitators to app use included the visual representation of trends, intuitive navigation and convenience (for example, discretion and portability). Barriers to app use were participant’s lack of knowledge and awareness of apps as healthcare tools, perceptions of disease severity, technological and health literacy or practical limitations such as rural connectivity. Factors contributing to app use were classified into a framework based on the Health Belief Model and HITAM. Recommendations for future app design centred on educational features, which were currently lacking (e.g. diabetes complications, including organ damage and hypoglycaemic episodes), monitoring and tracking features (e.g. blood glucose level monitoring with trends and dynamic tips and comorbidities) and nutritional features (e.g. carbohydrate counters). Medication reminders were not used by participants. Lastly, participants felt that receiving weekly text-messaging relating to their self-management would be appropriate. Conclusions The incorporation of user-centred features, which engage T2DM consumers in self-management tasks, can improve health outcomes. The findings may guide app developers and entrepreneurs in improving app design and usability. Given self-management is a significant factor in glycaemic control, these findings are significant for GPs, nurse practitioners and allied health professionals who may integrate apps into a holistic management plan which considers strategies outside the clinical environment.

The changes that happen in technology recently have brought about significant changes in the field of education where it can improve the quality of knowledge with the invention of technology is creative, unique, and of course, it is beneficial to us especially among students. There is a growing number of interests in how these technological platforms are perceived by the users (students) and the effectiveness of these platforms. For this reason, it is essential to investigate the easiness and usefulness of such technology being currently used by students. To further understand the issue, the role of students' perception plays an essential role in the use of technology in education. Therefore, this study focuses on the students' understanding of the use of technology in learning among students at the University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) by applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Besides, this is an exploratory study on the impact of TAM on students' perception. An online questionnaire has been distributed, and a total of 113 respondents were collected, which aims to gather insight on the use of technology in the learning system at UNIMAS. Moreover, this study has used various analysis methods such as descriptive analysis, reliability test, factor analysis, and Pearson correlation coefficient and Partial Least Square- Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) to investigate the role of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness in determining the usage of technology in the higher learning institution. The findings in this study revealed that there is a positive relationship from perceived ease of use towards the use of technology among students. The outcome of the study identifies that there is a satisfactory level of technology usage among the respondents. The results also suggest that policymakers should ensure the innovation of technology to consider the ease of use and usefulness of technology (via training and providing mobile-friendly applications) to assist students' learning in the higher learning institution. The limitations of this study are that the sample is collected at the undergraduate level. It is recommended for future research to include respondents from postgraduate levels to see any difference in their perception of technology.
