As VR technology matures, it offers opportunities to provide state of the art learning experiences. The use of this technology in education is not new, however, it can be significantly improved. Situated (or contextual) learning is one of the key pillars of immersive learning. Multi-user interaction in virtual environments has always been one of the goals of VR and this has been represented by the tools developed for it. In this preliminary work, we aim to introduce Project Mobius, which is a collaborative project between Edify.ac and the University of Glasgow. We describe how our multi-user lab has been set up and potential future applications for teaching and learning.

This chapter aims to investigate the impacts of COVID-19 in China's education sector. It will capture the dynamics of the interlinked changing relationships between the availability and use of education technology (EdTech) and the demand for online learning among various stakeholders in the Chinese education market. In addition, this chapter examines whether and how these relationships enhance operational efficiency via transforming the current business models in the sector, in particular due to the COVID-19 pandemic. By analyzing the current practices of the sector, this chapter will critically discuss the challenges and opportunities for technology in education and how these changes in turn drive stakeholders (including students, educators, and regulators) to respond and engage with each other, and how these stakeholder engagements impact the sustainable development of delivery modes, such as digital education and remote learning by using EdTech strategies in the sector.

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly disrupted education and has instantaneously shifted education from being conducted predominately ‘face to face’ to being totally ‘online’. For most teachers, this unexpected teaching approach has impelled them into finding ways to provide the same quality of education to their students. One way of doing this is by adopting educational technologies in learning and teaching, including the use of augmented reality (AR) technology. AR technology has been integrated into the field of physics education. In this study, the effects of AR technology on understanding of the concepts of electricity in an online learning environment for 11th-grade students was investigated. Pretest and posttest were carried out in the control group and the experimental group. The results showed that AR technology improved understanding of electrical concepts for the students in the experimental group compared to the control group, with a very significant difference between both groups. This research contributes to the development of AR technology in education, especially in relation to the teaching and learning of abstract physics concepts.

Educator preparation programs and institutional polices should provide background knowledge and experience with digital literacies and emerging technologies in coursework and strategies. The emphasis on the integration of technology instruction is relevant in the literature today. This chapter will explore the intersections and disjunctures between digital literacy practices in an educator preparation program and personal digital literacy use from a recent study that examined the digital literacies of six teacher educators. The chapter will be organized into sections, examining technology tools, digital interactions, and online resources applied classrooms.

This research aimed to developing mental motivation and academic achievement among students at College of Education, King Saud University, through design a digital video based on storytelling in an e-learning environment. To achieve this goal, a sample of (62) students from College of Education at King Saud University was selected. The researcher divided them into experimental group of (30) students, who studied by using digital videos which designed based on storytelling in an e-learning environment, and control group of (32) students, who studied by traditional method, both groups were enrolling in the course of “Integrating Technology in Education”. The mental motivation measurement and academic achievement test were used as well as T-test for analyzing the research data. This research found the effectiveness of using digital video in an e-learning environment based on storytelling in developing mental motivation and academic achievement among students at College of Education, King Saud University.

Avoiding technology is the same as staunching the flow of daily life, because it has become a part of our lives. Understanding of media has begun to change as technological tools have taken over daily life to such an extent. The individual, the smallest circle of this change ring, has also started to differentiate in terms of needs and expectations, so education has become the element that needs to be changed most. Classical teaching methods does not appeal to the students anymore. Neuro education and eye tracking methods are pioneer methods to be used in education. By the help of new media, students can visualize the information they have been learning and have a quick understanding of the information they get in the lectures. In this study, the effects of the spread of new media technology in education and how the old understanding of students and teachers are reshaped and adapted to this technology has been explored.

The role of technology in education is at the forefront of developing innovative teaching materials that may facilitate students' learning needs. The purpose of this research was to determine the procedure for developing an electronic module based on a scientific approach for the chemical bonding topic, as well as to determine whether the developed media is theoretically and practically feasible. This electronic module was designed with students with visual learning styles in mind, and the topics are presented in a scientific manner. The methods were implemented using the Lee and Owens model, which required several steps such as analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed that the electronic module was deemed feasible as a digital teaching material by expert judges. Based on practitioner testing during the learning process, this module was effective as a teaching material, as evidenced by 89.28 percent ("Excellent" category) students believing it was simple to understand the topic of chemical bonding.

Abstract: In this modern world technology is expanding in each and every sector of society. And growth of technology in education system is important which has led to growth and more use of e-learning via different websites. E-learning helps student to access and store data virtually so that it can be easily used irrespective of someone’s location. Through this various elearning portals it becomes easier for teacher to provide data to a lot of students remotely. Technology used to design this elearning site is python and django. It will allow new user to register them self and existing one can login using their respective ids and password. Teacher can easily interact with students using this e learning platform and also track student performance by organizing various quizzes. Users can also enrollee in different courses at a same time and can view the different content available on site easily. This project helps students to enrollee in various free courses and learns new skills by taking a course of their choice .The main focus of this project is not only to provide free courses to students but also to provide a platform to teachers where they can teach many students and provide them knowledge regarding a particular course. Keywords: Django, python, html, javascript, CSS

Educators of the 21st century have to be techno-friendly to cater to students' needs who embrace the latest technologies. Using visual-based methods like PowerPoint presentations, videos, animation, etc., has helped the students retain information compared to the traditional methods. One of the breath-taking advancements in visualizing technology is Virtual Reality (VR). This paper provides an overview of Virtual Reality (VR) technology and its applications in education. During this study, to better understand VR's contributions to education, a systematic review of the literature was conducted from Scopus, IEEE, and Google Scholar databases. The paper aims to highlight the core concepts, the origination of the technology, its impact, associated problems, and future directions of VR concerning education and the methods considered by notorious researchers. Identified gaps in the chosen literature works were also highlighted, and suggestions to overcome the identified gaps were summarized.

The use of technology in education has a significant impact in educating and educating the nation's life, and can help create new innovations. One of the innovations created is the emergence of the concept of electronic learning (e-learning). E-learning is useful for students and teachers to get learning materials easily, one of which is by using e-module teaching materials. This study aims to determine the process and produce a product in the form of an e-module of teaching materials assisted by algebrator software on the material of rank numbers and root forms for class X SMK. This type of research is development using ADDIE floating model. The instrument used in this study is a non-test instrument, namely a validation questionnaire, and the data obtained from a validation questionnaire that has been filled out by the validator. The data will be analyzed descriptively quantitatively. Overall, the feasibility of the e-module assisted by algebrator software on the material of numbers and root forms obtained an average of 86.35%, so that the e-module assisted by algebrator software on the material of numbers and roots of class X SMK is interpreted as very valid to use. Kata Kunci: E-module, Algebrator Software, Exponents and Roots, Validity
