Managing crowded areas is an extremely and difficult task. Several people might be injured or lost their lives every year because of mal organization of the crowded areas. There are many regular crowded events where this problem continuous and create social and personal upheaval, namely, if not resolved, perhaps destroy the image of the administrators and organizers. One such events is the anniversary pilgrimage Hajj, where Millions visits the holy sites Makkah (mecca) in Saudi Arabia to perform various rituals. In Addition, there are other regular events attracts much more participants. During this event, some of the pilgrims get lost and are unable to reach back to their places. There are many techniques that used to manage and track users in the crowded areas, like Wi-Fi, Mobile networks and RFID. In this article we proposed an integrated management model to solve this problem. The proposed model is based on web system that use maps and location, and use the IOT tools to track and monitor users. This proposed architecture can be utilized to solve various challenges related to management of the crowd in general and management of pilgrims in particular. This model can be adapted to any crowded event.

Banking companies aiming to maintain their sustainability in financial markets need to develop an integrated management based on the most important intangibles assets of relational capital. Decision- makers need to analyze and understand a huge volume of opinions continuously generated in digital ecosystems about emotions and feelings that their stakeholders associate with the performance and communication of the brand. Current tools of management fail to consider transversal and holistic models, which study the frequency and value of existing relationships between the relational capital and intangible assets. In this research, an innovative management model based on reputation intelligence is proposed. This model incorporates methodology from business intelligence models, through OLAP and data mining techniques, to analyses the complex relationships among intangible assets experience, emotion and attitude. The proposed model was applied to companies in the banking sector and the results obtained permit a conclusion about the kinds of relationships for these intangibles in each bank.

This paper establishes a conceptual model about the integrated management of coastal zones linked to land use planning. The components of the environmental management model were formulated based on two different case studies concerning evidence of environmental impacts. The proposed model can contribute to preserving the natural heritage, and savings in materials, labor, energy, and time, by focusing on the problem in advance and estimating the environmental costs for long-term valuations used for feasibility studies.

UpLink Power Control (ULPC) is a key radio resource management procedure in mobile networks. In this paper, an analytical model for estimating the impact of increasing the nominal power parameter in the ULPC algorithm for the Physical Uplink Shared CHannel (PUSCH) in Long Term Evolution (LTE) is presented. The aim of the model is to predict the effect of changing the nominal power parameter in a cell on the interference and Signal-to-Interference-plus-Noise Ratio (SINR) of that cell and its neighbors from network statistics. Model assessment is carried out by means of a field trial where the nominal power parameter is increased in some cells of a live LTE network. Results show that the proposed model achieves reasonable estimation accuracy, provided uplink traffic does not change significantly.

Since the nature of the shipyard differs from general industry, a shipyard strategy formulation model has been developed based on its own business characteristics. This paper presents a proposed environment-based strategy formulation model for medium-sized shipyards. A questionnaire survey of the industry's stakeholders was carried out to identify the internal and external strategic factors of the shipyard's businesses. By using multivariate factor analysis, the strategic factors were identified in both new building and ship repair. The results were then used to develop business environment submodels and a shipyard business matrix. These industry based models were integrated into a shipyard strategy formulation model called YARDSTRAT. Its application and evaluation in two shipyards show that the proposed model could produce more comprehensive strategic options to sustainable competitive advantage for the companies.

In response to education regulations for quality assurance (QA), universities in Indonesia strongly require an integrated management information system (MIS), such as Academic MIS (AMIS). In developing AMIS, the main issues that must be addressed are the urgent need for implementing university QA standards (even though departments have already implemented their best practices for years and show reluctance to change), changing requirements, and the need for a quick delivery system despite the fact that AMIS is very large in scope. This paper contributes to modeling AMIS, which is suitable for universities in Indonesia. This research has been conducted at one of the best private universities, Parahyangan Catholic University. Having measured the quality of AMIS using several key business measures, results indicated that the proposed model successfully resolved the issues at stake.
