A pesquisa objetiva compreender o campo científico do tema Empreendedorismo Social a partir de pesquisas que abordam o campo de públicas. Após levantamento de 157 artigos indexados na base Web of Science, de 1945 a 2021, utilizando-se da palavra “social entrepreneurship”, no título, e “public”, em todos os campos, os dados foram inseridos no software VOSviewer para a construção dos mapas bibliométricos. Os resultados em relação às redes de (i) co-corrência de palavras-chave, que definiu: cluster 1 agrupou as palavras “field”, “innovation”, “legitimacy”, “organizations”, e “performance”; o cluster 2 que reuniu as palavras “challenges”, “management”, “perspective” e “social innovation”; o cluster 3, uniu as palavras “entrepreneurship”, “social economy”, “social enterprise” e “social entrepreseurship”; cluster 4 com as palavras “context”, “enterprise”, “impact” e “work”; cluster 5 “business”, “responsibility” e “susteainability”. Em relação à rede de (ii) co-citação por artigo, têm-se o cluster 1, com os autores Agafonow (2014), Bacq (2011), Fowler (2000), o cluster 2, com Baron (2007), Hoogendoorn (2016), Short (2009), o cluster 3, com Bacq (2018), Desa (2013) e o cluster 4, representado por Cook (2003), Karosec (2006). Outras três análises evidenciam um campo de estudo atrelado às questões críticas da sociedade, como crises socioambientais.

Industries have undergone three fundamental transformation processes that were revolutionary. Following these processes, industries have been confronted with the phenomenon of Industry 4.0, known as the 4th Industrial Revolution, that is acknowledged as a new transformation process. The basic dynamics of this phenomenon include smart robots, simulation, the internet of things, cloud, additive manufacturing, and big data. It is of utmost importance for businesses that are involved in this process, that are new and trying to adapt to the process, to be prepared and adapt to the effects of Industry 4.0 dynamics. These dynamics lead to significant developments in business models, business processes, organizational structures, employees, and human resource processes. When Industry 4.0 and its dynamics are evaluated in general, businesses that follow the process and make necessary managerial adjustments will be ahead of the competition.

The large-scale health crisis caused by COVID-19 that appeared in late 2019 has undoubtedly had a huge influence on the global economy. This chapter takes the interruption of international trade in the context of epidemics as the main research subject, using the change in Sino-Brazilian trade as a case study. From the international management perspective, this chapter will investigate how this epidemic affects Sino-Brazilian cross-border trade and business practices. The interlinked relationship between both countries' cross-border trade will be examined. Recommendations will be provided for further enhancing both countries' economic growth and trade practices.

This chapter presents a knowledge management perspective to propose a pair of structural models to determine the relationship between burnout syndrome (BS) and body mass index (BMI) among high and middle managers of Mexican maquiladoras. In developing countries like Mexico there are opportunities to expand burnout study on diversity of contexts and occupations. The Maslach burnout general inventory questionnaire (MB-GI) was used, and sociodemographic data were collected as well as the weight and size of respondents. Instrument shows an acceptable reliability index. Structural equation models are used to determine relationship among variables. From a sample of 361 people, using segmentations of BMI, two segments are distinguished: normal weight and overweight. Model using normal weight participants shows more explanatory qualities about the relationship among burnout dimensions than the one using overweight participants. One can conclude that more factors and variables are needed to explain overweight Mexican managers.

Technological progress is something that cannot be avoided in this life, because technological progress will run in accordance with scientific advances. This cannot be separated from the role of education. Thus, as a very important component for humans in living life and social interaction, of course education needs to be carried out consciously and planned, both by stakeholders and education providers, especially teachers and lecturers. Education must continue in any form and condition, as long as the activities of human life in social interaction continue. This condition will certainly also occur during the Covid-19 pandemic. All education providers are required to act more quickly in responding to the existing conditions. Perceptions about the length of interaction with the implementation of education (experience), especially for teachers and lecturers are not the main benchmark for ensuring the success of managing the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. A wise effort is to make peace with any conditions and respond wisely to the existing conditions so that wisdom and humility will emerge. In the end, education providers, especially teachers and lecturers, will try to collaborate between experience and knowledge.

Collections-based organizations (CBOs) can play a crucial role in addressing sustainable development (SD), but their aspiration to become more sustainable, as seen in policies and guidelines, is confronted with several challenges in practice. To facilitate a sustainability transition, this process of change needs to be managed and adequate tools adopted and implemented. Many tools exist to support this transition; however, a scarcity of centralized resources available to CBOs might negatively affect the integration of sustainability practices in their work. With the aim to address this gap, ICCROM launched the project “Our Collections Matter” (OCM) and developed an online toolkit (OCMT) to centralize resources and help CBOs align their work to the UN Agenda 2030. Recently, a workshop was organized with professionals in the field to discuss shared challenges and aspirations and to test the OCMT. This study reflects on how such centralization of resources can contribute to overcoming existing challenges and support the sustainability aspirations of CBOs, fostering change in the field. To do that, the workshop outcomes are analyzed and discussed from a change management perspective, looking at the impact that the OCM project and its activities can have on fostering change, and the role that ICCROM can play in facilitating the sustainability transition of the field.
