The aim of this study is to determine the anxiety levels of the students studying in the teaching departments and to examine these according to different variables. The sample of the study consisted of 400 non-random sampling methods and 400 prospective teachers who were studying at Dumlupinar University. The personal information form created by the researchers and the data related to the pre-service teachers' concerns about the teaching profession were provided by Caba and Yalçınalp (2009). In the research findings: “Gender”, “Age”, “Satisfaction Status”, “Class”, “Faculty” and “Sports Making Status” showed a significant difference in “OAST” total scores (p <0.05). As a result, it can be concluded that the vocational anxiety levels of the teacher candidates studying in different departments differ according to some variables.Extended English summary is in the end of Full Text PDF (TURKISH) file. Verilerin analizinde; betimsel istatistik yöntemler, Man Whitney U ve Kruskal Wallis testlerinden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularında: “Cinsiyet”, “Yaş”, “Okuduğu Bölümden Memnun Olma Durumu”, “Sınıf”, “Fakülte” ve “Spor Yapma Durumu” göre “ÖAYMK” toplam puanlarında manidar farklılık bulunmuştur. Araştırmaya gore, öğretmen adaylarının meslekleri ile ilgili kaygı seviyelerinin değişkenlere göre farklılaştığı sonucuna varılabilir.

This research was conducted in the spring semester of 2014-2015 academic year. The results of 5-point Likert-type Scale which was developed by the researchers were analyzed with SPSS program. When the results of the research were analyzed, it was revealed that teacher candidates who receive distance education reported that, virtual classes are effective in learning, being in the virtual classes at the same time with their teachers increase the students’ interests in the lecture, the materials used in the lectures are more effective for students to understand the subject, the students get opinions from their classmates by making their presentations through file sharing in virtual class setting and this leads to a significant contribution to their learning. Keywords: distance learning, virtual classroom, bigbluebutton

The aim of the study was to demonstrate the opinions of teacher candidates, who were born after 2000 and called generation Z, about the concept of school autonomy. This is quantitative research conducted according to the descriptive survey model. The data obtained is based on the responses given by teacher candidates to the “School Autonomy” questionnaire that was prepared for school administrators for the 2012 PISA exam. The target population of the study consisted of teacher candidates who studied in the Faculty of Education of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University in Turkey in the fall semester of the 2019-2020 academic years. Questionnaires were distributed to all teacher candidates (351) in education faculty. The questionnaires were applied to face-to-face interviews with teacher candidates. Generation Z (teacher candidates) in general hold the opinion that theauthority to make decisions should lie with school when it comes to determining the annual school budget, making disciplinary decisions about students, evaluating students’ success, accepting students to school, choosing textbooks and determining the courses to be taught. Generation Z also believes that the ministry, provincial education directorates, and schools should cooperate in the selection of schools and the determination of their annual salaries.

Teachers, in the implementation of
learning can evaluate attitudes toward the subjects, in order to know how
students' attitude toward learning that is/has been going on. Therefore, an
attitude assessment is required for valid, reliable and practical learning. The
purpose of this research is to develop a Likert scale type questionnaire that
can measure students' attitudes toward chemistry. In this study initially has
been compiled as many as 43 items. The items in the present scale were
adapted from the Test of Science-Related Attitudes (TOSRA) and Attitudes
towards Chemistry Lessons Scale (ATCLS). After the contents validation of
the questionnaire by the expert, the questionnaire is tested on 245 college
students. Determination of construct validity which is conducted with
exploratory factor analysis obtained 32 items valid question. The result of
factor analysis shows that the scale has nine factors that explain 62.105% of
the total variance. In addition, it shows the finding of 'reliability coefficient
(Cronbach' alpha) of 0.91. The results obtained showed that it has obtained
valid and reliable questionnaires as a measuring tool that can be used to
determine student attitudes toward chemistry in chemistry foodstuffs
lectures
