The lockdown posed a great impact on teaching and learning process which aided in the shift of face to face education to virtual classroom. As the e- learning was newly introduced, it was difficult to execute initially due to prior unpreparedness. We put forth this study to analyse student's perspective and challenges faced in online education during pandemic times. The study was done in medical and allied health science colleges of Chennai and Puducherry. This is cross-sectional study conducted between June and August 2020. This is an online survey conducted through google forms circulated to undergraduates and post graduates of medical and allied health science courses. Frequencies and percentages were used to express the data. Statistical Analyses were done by SPSS software and graphs were made by Microsoft excel. We received response from 419 participants. Mobile phone was the widely used gadget to access online class. Most of the institutes conducted online class daily and assessment twice weekly. In student’s point of view, though e- learning had several disadvantages like poor net connectivity, clinical training inadequacy, difficulty in attending class for longer duration and unfavourable learning environment, it proved constructive at pandemic time. On improvement in the design of the learning environment and teaching system, the online learning platform would better to serve its purpose in future pandemic.

In recent decades, technological advances have revolutionized all areas of society, including the teaching resources and methodologies used in education. The relevance of pedagogical technologies in vocational education cannot be overemphasized, since technologies are constantly changing in today's environment, thus creating new challenges for modern education in globalization. The research aims are to establish patterns for promoting the implementation of pedagogical technologies in educational institutions for providing quality competent training of specialists in professional education. Research methods: comparative analysis; survey; systematization, generalization. As a result of the survey was established that pedagogical technologies positively influence the provision of competent training of specialists in Ukrainian professional education (89.7%), a smaller number of students (7.5%) were not sure about the quality of competent training of specialists in Ukrainian professional education with modern pedagogical technologies. It was determined that the students of educational institutions are most familiar with such pedagogical technologies as mobile learning (100%), e-learning (98%), independent learning (90%), virtual classroom (85%), and massive open online courses (MOOC) (71%). The study found that teachers need to improve digital competency from technologies such as Gamification and Next Generation Digital Learning Environment (NGDLE). Based on statistical data, it was found that the need for competent specialists in vocational education in the labor market is increasing every year, while those willing to study at vocational education institutions are decreasing every year. According to the negative trends, it has been determined that vocational education institutions should improve the educational process to increase the number of future competent specialists for the labor market.

Classroom management is a conscious effort to systematically organize teaching and learning process activities that lead to success, which has a relationship with the encouragement of students to actively learn even though the implementation of the teaching and learning process is online. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a significant relationship between virtual classroom management and students' online learning motivation and how much virtual classroom management contributes to students' online learning motivation at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kalifa Nusantara for the 2020/2021 academic year. This type of quantitative research uses systematic scientific research on the parts and phenomena and the causality of their relationships. The results showed that: 1) There was a significant relationship between virtual classroom management and online learning motivation of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kalifa Nusantara. This is indicated by the virtual classroom management variable, which has a positive regression coefficient towards online learning motivation of 38.355, meaning that if virtual classroom management has an increase of 1 point, online learning motivation will increase by 38.355. It is also known that the count of 6.360 is more excellent than the table at a significant level of 5%, which is 1.693. This means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it is stated that the correlation of the X variable with the Y variable is significant. 2) The virtual class management variable (X) has a simultaneous contribution of 57.4 to the online learning motivation variable (Y), and the remaining 42.6% is influenced by other factors not examined by the author.

Education in today’s epidemic time is possible only through virtual learning platforms. COVID-19 has changed the mode of learning and shown the power of learning in virtual mode. In this paper a self-designed questionnaire on virtual learning was developed to analyse the impact of virtual learning on undergraduate and postgraduate university students. The self-developed questionnaire containing 25 items is tested for validity and reliability. 25 items are further segregated into 5 factors using exploratory factor analysis. These five factors are: Virtual Learning Environment; Virtual Learning and Health Related Issues; Virtual Learning and Interpersonal Issues; Virtual Learning and Technological Issues; Virtual Learning Deliverables. To have the comparative study of undergraduate and postgraduate students for the use of virtual learning platforms, one-way ANOVA is implemented. One-way ANOVA is implemented for each factor and it was found that virtual learning effectiveness increases when students move from Under graduation (UG) to Post Graduation (PG) in India.

Teaching practicum is an essential component of any teacher training program. It usually involves theoretical knowledge related to content and teaching in general, classroom management strategies, and skills utilized when confronted with challenging situations. Distance learning tools may impact knowledge transfer. Using artificial intelligence-based virtual classrooms posed a challenge for pre-service teachers to address teaching and learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This study addresses incorporating an artificial intelligence-based virtual classroom environment with a recommendation feature as an open-access software to help pre-service teachers develop their teaching skills. Also, the study addresses recommendations to support educators' professional development. Finally, further recommendations and future directions provide thought-provoking ideas for using artificial intelligence-based virtual settings for teaching.
