The transition in education from elementary school to junior high school is a difficult process for teenagers and requires adjustment. The process of adapting to teenagers is becoming increasingly difficult because they are currently faced with the Covid 19 pandemic. The complexity of the developmental task is a stressor for teenagers who are first year students in Junior High School. Self-adjustment is important in order to be able to align the needs of oneself and the situation outside of adolescents in order to get a better relationship between themselves and their environment. The failure of adolescents to make adjustments will cause problems such as irresponsible behavior and neglect of lessons, aggressive attitudes and withdrawing from association with peers. Based on this review, it is necessary to conduct a screening regarding the adjustment of adolescents in first year junior high school students during the Covid 19 pandemic. The research design method used descriptive quantitative. The sample in the study amounted to 81 respondents. The data collection technique used a questionnaire distributed via a google form link. Data analysis used univariate to describe the characteristics of respondents and students' self-adjustment. Data were analyzed with categorization scoring guidelines using frequency and percentage distributions. The results showed that 40.74% had sufficient adjustment and 59.26% had less adjustment. Efforts are needed to improve adolescent adjustment to prevent problems in adolescents.

Problem is a state that is not in line with expectations and must be solved immediately. The junior high school student is in the early adolescent phase, which finds many major changes in him that can cause problems. Guidance and conseling services should be provided in accordance with the problems experienced by students and their needs. However, guidance and conseling teachers have difficulty identifying the problems that affect the giving of guidance and counseling services. This study observes the problems experienced by students in junior high school with the number of respondents as many as 193 students. They are first year students of junior high school in Yogyakarta. We analyzed student problems using survey methods with problem-based guidance and counseling instrument, namely Alat Ungkap Masalah (AUM) Umum. The results showed that the 3 highest problem experienced by junior high school students in Yogyakarta covered 45% of he Social Relationship, 44% Personality, and Physical Health got 40%.

Japanese is one of the most popular languages after English. Its culture that captivates people's hearts, makes interest in the language increase, both from children and adults. Until now, learning Japanese has become the program of choice at the high school level to universities. This study aims to analyze the interest of junior high school students in Japanese. Descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection technique used qualitative descriptive and provided some introductory vocabulary, numbers, and some common Japanese vocabulary. The results showed that students' knowledge of basic Japanese when given the pretest was 66.67%. After students were given material in the form of power points about basic Japanese, students' knowledge increased by 70.37%. The conclusion obtained is that students already have sufficient knowledge of basic Japanese such as introductions, numbers, and basic vocabulary. It can be seen from the increase in the pre-test and post-test that has been given only an increase of 11%. In addition, it can be seen from the enthusiasm of students in interactive question and answer sessions during the learning process. It is hoped that this research can become a consideration regarding the choice of Japanese language programs up to junior high school level
