The purpose of issuing a quality manual for the radioisotope production plants is to define and describe the quality system implemented by the plant. It provides general procedures for all activities comprising the quality system, defines the authorities and responsibilities of all personnel affected by the system and provides a way to inform our customers of the specific controls that are in place at radioisotope production plants to assure continued product quality. Such a quality manual is regularly updated to depict the quality management system implemented by radioisotope production plant as accurately as possible. Example of this type of quality manual is developed for the radioisotope production facility (RPF) located in ETRR-2 Complex site – Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority – Inshas-EGYPT.

AbstractBig Data is an essential research area for governments, institutions, and private agencies to support their analytics decisions. Big Data refers to all about data, how it is collected, processed, and analyzed to generate value-added data-driven insights and decisions. Degradation in Data Quality may result in unpredictable consequences. In this case, confidence and worthiness in the data and its source are lost. In the Big Data context, data characteristics, such as volume, multi-heterogeneous data sources, and fast data generation, increase the risk of quality degradation and require efficient mechanisms to check data worthiness. However, ensuring Big Data Quality (BDQ) is a very costly and time-consuming process, since excessive computing resources are required. Maintaining Quality through the Big Data lifecycle requires quality profiling and verification before its processing decision. A BDQ Management Framework for enhancing the pre-processing activities while strengthening data control is proposed. The proposed framework uses a new concept called Big Data Quality Profile. This concept captures quality outline, requirements, attributes, dimensions, scores, and rules. Using Big Data profiling and sampling components of the framework, a faster and efficient data quality estimation is initiated before and after an intermediate pre-processing phase. The exploratory profiling component of the framework plays an initial role in quality profiling; it uses a set of predefined quality metrics to evaluate important data quality dimensions. It generates quality rules by applying various pre-processing activities and their related functions. These rules mainly aim at the Data Quality Profile and result in quality scores for the selected quality attributes. The framework implementation and dataflow management across various quality management processes have been discussed, further some ongoing work on framework evaluation and deployment to support quality evaluation decisions conclude the paper.

The high quality of products and services is a guarantee of the company’s success in the market. The purpose of our study is to assess the feasibility of developing a new competitive product, taking into account the preferences of consumers. To achieve this, marketing tools aimed at product quality management were used. In the course of the work, a full cycle of marketing research was conducted, including questionnaires, the formation of a portrait of a consumer of products, and economic calculations. Object of study - a large regional enterprise - a center for sales of building materials. The work performed at the junction of two scientific fields (marketing and quality management) provided a synergistic effect in terms of cost reduction when creating a competitive product, and also allowed us to offer original recommendations for improving quality in general. According to the results of marketing research, which consisted in questioning the target audience using the free “Google Forms” service, such characteristics as “assortment” and “appearance” were recognized as the least satisfying consumers in the existing market for facing bricks. Based on the detailed analysis, a new type of product (“Chocolate velvet” brick) was developed that meets the wishes of the target audience of customers. An additional positive effect from the transition of the enterprise to its production in the amount of 91,600 conventional units per month will be an increase in profit, compared to 2017 (942,500 rubles), by 1,1533240 rubles, the expected efficiency of transferring an innovative product to production (profit growth / costs) will be 1.22. Determination of consumer requirements specifies the technological task during the transition to the production of a new type of product. Replacing the production of old-style finishing bricks with the release of a new type of product allows you to create a customized product that is guaranteed to find its customer due to its high customer loyalty

Increase of production efficiency through generalization of design practices of integrated product quality management of the industry is a necessary condition for sustainable development of domestic production. The purpose of the study is to assess the existing system of quality management of the enterprise on the example of a separate business unit and identify directions to increase its effectiveness. Object of study — Production Association of Software (Polished Glass) JSC AGС “Borsky Glass Factory”. The subject of study is an integrated quality management system. Research methods — method of economic analysis, and method of expert assessments. A practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of using the results to control non-conforming products in the process of industrial production. These studies allow to draw conclusions about the effectiveness of the technology used for product quality management and production processes of the industry enterprise on the example of a separate production.

The study was driven by the need to elevate consumers’ switching costs so as to minimise consumer churning behaviour. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the product strategy on consumers’ brand switching intention behaviour. A marketing orientation of managing a product from a holistic approach was adopted and that was informed by previous theoretical modelling. The study followed a quantitative approach in the cola industry in Zimbabwe. Data was collected using questionnaires from a sample size of 432 respondents. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) - Amos Graphics was used to analyse data. The study confirmed that a holistic approach to product strategy is statistically significant in minimising churning behaviour of customers. Product availability and product quality were inversely influencing behavioural intention to switch brands whilst product price recorded a significant positive impact. Product range had an insignificant association with consumer attrition. The study concluded that consumers’ switching behaviour can be managed through a well implemented product strategy. To plummet brand switching behaviour, the study recommends effective product pricing, effective product distribution and improvements in product quality.
