The article is devoted to the study of the content aspects and structural features of the book of travel sketches "The Enchantment of Morocco" by Ukrainian filmmaker and traveler Sofiia Yablonska-Uden. On the example of the work, the discursive mechanisms of travel literature are analyzed in the context of a broad range of issues relevant to the time of writing sketches; innovative, semimedia character of travel sketches is shown, content blocks and the interrelations between them are distinguished and highlighted. Hermeneutic scientific approaches are used in this article; it is based on the philosophy of identity and cultural studies, colonial and postcolonial studies. Main results of the research: 1) travel literature occupies an important, and often a key place in the discourse on identity; 2) identity is conceived as a key multilevel marker; 3) the intention of the trip contains an identical challenge that affects the preparation, organization, flow of travel, the way of documenting impressions and the content of documented impressions; 4) the book is characterized by the tension between colonialism and enslavement, in the field of which the self-positioning of the narrator occurs; 5) traveling fulfills the function of restoring lost communications – with oneself, with culture, with history, with natural, urban and anthropomorphic environment. Sofiia Yablonska-Uden's "The Enchantment of Morocco" sketches formulate an identical challenge and try to answer him. This answer is complex, based on antinomy pairs: statehood – statelessness, Europeanism – non-European, modernity – nonmodernity, femininity – manhood, domination – subordination, maturity – childhood. These antinomy pairs are in interference, inclusion, and / or tangency relationships. The study of travel literature, an identical issue, is relevant for the formation of a modern vision of Ukrainian society itself, belonging to a European civilization project and engaging in a global context. Interprofessional collaboration is essential to maximize outcomes of young children who are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing (DHH). Speech-language pathologists, audiologists, educators, developmental therapists, and parents need to work together to ensure the child's hearing technology is fit appropriately to maximize performance in the various communication settings the child encounters. However, although interprofessional collaboration is a key concept in communication sciences and disorders, there is often a disconnect between what is regarded as best professional practice and the self-work needed to put true collaboration into practice. This paper offers practical tools, processes, and suggestions for service providers related to the self-awareness that is often required (yet seldom acknowledged) to create interprofessional teams with the dispositions and behaviors that enhance patient/client care.

In the realm of feminist study, the woman story writers deal with the themes of love, marriage, loneliness and quest for identity. Self is related to individual where as the Identity is concerned with position in society. Cultural identity of feeling makes connection to the part of the self conception and self awareness. It concerns with nationality, customs, religious and religious convictions, age group, community and any other social group type. The present paper reveals the discussion on the key findings with regard to the ‘self’ and cultural identity of protagonist in the short stories of Jhumpa Lahiri in special reference to The Interpreter of Maladies. She is a superb interpreter of a cultural multiplicity. Lahiri’s stories are insightful critique of human relationships, bonds as well as promise that one has to make with native soil along with the migrated land

This study primarily unearths measure and evaluate the determinants influencing business students' learning motivation at universities in Ho Chi Minh City through the self-administered questionnaires with 257 students. The results show all seven factors of (1) social factors; (2) learning environment; (3) lecturers’ behaviour; (4) family and friend influence; (5) students’ self-awareness; (6) student’s willpower and (7) student viewpoint have impacted on learning motivation of business students. In addition, suggestions and recommendations are proposed to enhance student motivation in higher education.

In the development of the relationship between the artist and his artistic creation, the deconstruction of concepts and ideas within the scope of artistic praxis leads to the reflection of the crucial role that the artist has in the conception and meaning of the work. His creative production, in turn, appropriates not only the expressive force of the author to assert itself as an artistic creation, but can also assume to be the reflection of the self, its identity and materializes in the form of self-portrait. The self-portrait expands the artist’s interiority, externalizing concerns and questions, and conveys a subjective point of view about himself and his view of art. But how does self-portrait contribute to self-awareness? And how does the artist reveal himself and communicate beyond his appearance?Based on these questions, the objective of this paper is to provide a reflection on self-portrait presenting the results of an artistic installation project that involved photographic language in the form of self-portrait and experimental video to represent feelings of disquiet. Influences such as Cindy Sherman, Lais Pontes or Francesca Woodman, whose creations approach the self-portrait in a not only original, but critical style, stand out.It is a project of academic and artistic nature supported by theoretical foundations. The results allow us to conclude that the artistic installation, which began by presenting a self-portraying self-seeking identity, frees itself from its creator to enhance multiple variable interpretations depending on the observer’s attention.

Abstract This study examined the relationship between mental toughness (MT) and self-awareness in a sample of 175 male and 158 female South African tennis athletes (mean age = 29.09 years, s.d. = 14.00). The participants completed the Sport Mental Toughness Questionnaire and the Self-Reflection and Insight Scale to assess MT (confidence, constancy, control) and self-awareness (self-reflection and self-insight) dimensions, respectively. Linear regression indicated that self-insight (β=0.49), but not self-reflection (β=0.02), predicted global MT. Multivariate regression analyses were significant for self-reflection (ηp²=0.11) and self-insight (ηp²=0.24). Self-reflection predicted confidence and constancy (ηp²=0.05 and 0.06, respectively), whereas self-insight predicted all three MT subcomponents (ηp²=0.12 to 0.14). The findings extend prior qualitative research evidence supporting the relevance of self-awareness to the MT of competitive tennis athletes, with self-reflection and insight forming prospective routes through which athletes’ MT may be developed.

Ipsative assessment to improve argumentative essay writing aimed at studying how an alternative type of assessment, which persuaded learners to reflect on the feedback received and involved them as active assessment participants, influenced the writing skill of 24 students from two Colombian universities. The queries addressed throughout the chapter were analyzing the way students structured their essays by means of the Ipsative feedback and the influence of the assessment approach on students at the self-management levels. Findings revealed that through Ipsative assessment students enhanced their argumentative essay writing as they grasped the structural and reflective nature of this skill. Furthermore, the comparison of various drafts allowed learners to reflect on their improvements at the same time they raised self-awareness of progress and the whole process took students to the realization that they were developing generic skills useful for academic discourse. This chapter was also concerned with the effects of Ipsative assessment on self-directedness and lifelong learning.
