It is known that organizations within an evolutionary perspective are in constant learning (learning organizations), so they equip of the ability to learn how to properly respond to the particularities of demands, for this reason organizations understand the need to measure its performance. In this segment of learning and adapting to the demand, the image of the leader and leadership styles become one of the main pillars of strategic management. Therefore, the guiding question of this article lies in a comparative analysis of different leadership styles mainly proposed by three authors: Blanchard and Hersey; Warren Bennis (2001) and Jack Welch; and Max Weber (2016). Other authors have also contributed which came to enrich the epistemological matrix of this research. Thus this research was categorized as basic, analytical, qualitative, of exploratory and descriptive nature due to the observation of facts, analysis and interpretation. Information on the bibliography was classified considering its interpretive epistemological approach. Data were capitulated through reflective reading of theme in focus. One has to conclude that operational compliance process does not counterbalance ineffective people; however, operational compliance process does not block effective people. In this antagonism, the employee ceases to be "simply a piece of Taylor," and goes on to add value, once they have the authority over entire system. The combination between effective leaders and operational compliance process is value-adding for the maintenance and growth of organizations.

This chapter uses a leadership typology to review categories of traditional and emerging leadership theories and styles. Those theories and styles that have particular application or extensive research in the areas of education, change, problem solving, decision making, and organizational culture are emphasized. Strategies for increasing leader self-awareness, matching leadership styles and organizational needs, and improving problem solving and decision making are provided. The aim of this chapter is to give a clear and comprehensive overview of the array of leadership styles and theories grounded in research. The intent is to help practitioners working in education be more effective leaders by providing a comprehensive theory base to guide their actions, and to help them utilize the leadership style(s) most appropriate for their organization.

Problems of management in aerospace manufacturing are similar to those we observe in other sectors, the main of which is the flattening of strategic management. The main reason lies in the attitude towards human resource of the organization. In the aerospace industry employs 250 thousand people, who need individual approach. The individual approach can offer competence-based approach to management. The purpose of the study is proof of the benefits of the competency approach to human resource management in context strategic management of the aerospace organization. To achieve this goal it is possible to obtain the method of comparative analysis. The article compares two approaches to personnel management. The transition to competence-based human resource management means (a) a different understanding of the object of management; (b) involvement in all functions of human resource management «knowledge – skills – abilities» of the employee; (c) to change the approach to strategic management aerospace industry.

A growing body of research in strategic management has focused on dynamic capabilities as a central source of firms' competitive advantage. The theoretical roots of dynamic capabilities can be found in many of the schools of thought identified by Mintzberg, Ahlstrand and Lampel (1998). In this paper, we identify three aspects of dynamic capabilities that, we believe, require more detailed attention: Process, cognitive and decision-based micro-foundations, and human agency. We explore each of these areas from an evolutionary perspective to emphasize the fact that dynamic capability is essentially an evolutionary construct. By highlighting the evolutionary implications of these areas, we add important detail to the way “evolution” has been used in this field of research.

Max Weber's The Protestant Ethics and the Spirit of Capitalism explains the fact that in the context of modern Europe commercial leaders and capital owners, as well as those who are classified as high-skilled skilled workers, modern companies that are trained in the technical and commercial fields, most are Protestants. The author's purpose in raising this phenomenon is to compare Weber's research with theological views on work ethics. Methodologically, a comparative analysis approach was used in this study. The birth of the view that religion gave birth to an axiological-pragmatic value order that was able to change a society's condition from nothing to nothing, poor to rich, and so on, or in other words that the ethics of Protestant capitalism became a power that made Protestants more ethically superior working with Catholics or other religions is an inaccurate assessment. Theology and work ethic are very closely related because Work is a nature and is one of human identities, so work that is based on the principles of monotheistic faith, not only shows the nature of a Muslim, but at the same time elevates his dignity as a servant of Allah SWT. The findings in this study can be used by religious people in improving work ethic.

Keywords: Work Ethic, Max Weber, Theology
