SummaryRadiobiological and cell biological knowledge is increasingly used to further improve local tumour control or to reduce normal tissue damage after radiotherapy. Important research areas are evolving which need to be addressed jointly by nuclear medicine and radiation oncology. For this differences of the biological distribution of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclides compared with the more homogenous dose-distribution of external beam radiotherapy have to be taken into consideration. Examples for interdisciplinary biology-based cancer research in radiation oncology and nuclear medicine include bioimaging of radiobiological parameters characterizing radioresistance, bioimage-guided adaptive radiotherapy, and the combination of radiotherapy with molecular targeted drugs.

AbstractClassifying scientific articles, patents, and other documents according to the relevant research topics is an important task, which enables a variety of functionalities, such as categorising documents in digital libraries, monitoring and predicting research trends, and recommending papers relevant to one or more topics. In this paper, we present the latest version of the CSO Classifier (v3.0), an unsupervised approach for automatically classifying research papers according to the Computer Science Ontology (CSO), a comprehensive taxonomy of research areas in the field of Computer Science. The CSO Classifier takes as input the textual components of a research paper (usually title, abstract, and keywords) and returns a set of research topics drawn from the ontology. This new version includes a new component for discarding outlier topics and offers improved scalability. We evaluated the CSO Classifier on a gold standard of manually annotated articles, demonstrating a significant improvement over alternative methods. We also present an overview of applications adopting the CSO Classifier and describe how it can be adapted to other fields.

Abstract: Image processing is a method to perform some operations on an image, in order to get an enhanced image or to extract some useful information from it. It is a type of signal processing in which input is an image and output may be image or characteristics/features associated with that image. Nowadays, image processing is one among rapidly growing technologies. It forms core research area within engineering and computer science disciplines too. Image detection on road is primarily carried out with the help of camera with Raspberry pi 3 model b+ and stimulation software. The device is built in such a way that we can identify any potholes in the respective roads and able to rectify as soon as possible with the help of the device. The data signals shared by the device will be converted to text signals from which we can get it right. These devices are fixed at top of the lamppost which is located at the corners of the road from where the device is monitoring the road at 120 degree for weekly once respectively. Green marketing meets the present needs of the consumer and business, while also preserving or enhancing the ability of the future generations to meet their needs. The chapter deals with customers' willingness to pay for green marketing initiatives. The chapter explores the managerial perspective using a qualitative inquiry using interpretative phenomenology approach. The customers are willing to pay for green initiatives provided 1) the green initiative does not cost a lot of inconvenience, 2) hotel has a good image, 3) customer profile environmental consciousness moderated the relationship between the customer profile and willingness to pay. Recommendations on how to implement the green strategy in hotels are discussed. The direction of future research sections important research areas in green marketing for an academic contribution.

This chapter gives a broad overview of international organizations (IOs) in world politics, highlighting some important research areas, while suggesting future avenues for progress. It follows the logical progression of the life cycle of a state's interaction with an IO: what explains the decision to form IOs; what form do the IOs take once a decision is made to create one; which issues are taken to IOs/which IOs are joined if they already exist; how do they operate; and do they achieve their stated goals. This life-cycle approach to IOs helps elucidate many of the puzzles concerning IOs, while suggesting how the answers to the puzzles potentially interact with one another.

The last decade has shown the e-business community and computer science researchers that there can be serious problems and pitfalls when e-companies are created. One of the problems is related to the necessity for the management of knowledge (data, information, or other electronic resources) from different companies. This chapter will focus on two important research fields that are currently working to solve this problem — Information Gathering (IG) techniques and Web-enabled Agent technologies. IG techniques are related to the problem of retrieval, extraction and integration of data from different (usually heterogeneous) sources into new forms. Agent and Multi-Agent technologies have been successfully applied in domains such as the Web. This chapter will show, using a specific IG Multi-Agent system called MAPWeb, how information gathering techniques have been successfully combined with agent technologies to build new Web agent-based systems. The field of Multi-agent systems (MAS) has been an active area for many years due to the importance that agents have to many disciplines of research in computer science. MAS are open and dynamic systems where a number of autonomous software components, called agents, communicate and cooperate in order to achieve their goals. In such systems, trust plays an important role. There must be a way for an agent to make sure that it can trust another entity, which is a potential partner. Without trust, agents cannot cooperate effectively and without cooperation they cannot fulfill their goals. Many times, trust is based on reputation. It is an indication that we may trust someone. This important research area is investigated in this book chapter. We discuss main issues concerning reputation and trust in MAS. We present research efforts and give formalizations useful for understanding the two concepts.
