Space and shape is one of the geometry topics that should be mastered by students and require proper teachers’ Mathematics Content Knowledge (MCK) for teaching to avoid misconception. This study aimed at developing a constructive conceptual framework as an instrument to examine mathematics pre-service teachers’ MCK on space and shape contents and describing their profile on this topic. The present study used mixed methods, in which the obtained data were analyzed both quantitatively using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and qualitatively described in nature. The developed MCK instrument was administered to 21 senior Indonesian mathematics pre-service teachers who were in their third year of study which and by a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the instrument had very good 10 final items with a consistent reliability coefficient of 0.67 and resulted in four factor components, namely, figural representation, area and circumference of object, relationship between properties of objects, and figural reasoning. Of the four factors, figural representation and reasoning factors had mostly been the challenges for Indonesian mathematics pre-service teachers. On the contrary, they performed better in the area and circumference of objects and the relationships between properties of objects. The findings lead to redesigning the curriculum for mathematics pre-service teachers’ learning to accommodate all their challenges.

This research aims to determine the factors that influence Students of Islamic Economics FEB UNAIR not motivated being a Zakat Organization’s employee.This research used quantitative methods through exploratory factor analysis. Characteristic of the population in this research are Students of Islamic Economics FEB UNAIR class 2010-2011 who following the active class. The number of samples at the time of pre eliminary test by conducting an interview written as many as 10 informants, and main test required 90 respondents. The sampling technique used is probability sampling. Sampling was done using simple random sampling.Based on the results of study indicate that there are four factors that influence Students of Islamic Economics FEB UNAIR. The four factors as a result of reduction of processing factor analysis. These four factors named by factor of the recognition, support by circles, Zakat Organization’s image, and informations about Zakat Organization.Advice for the are improves giving more informations about Zakat Organization’s needed employees. For academic side, can more improves more study about zakat management. Factor that formed in this study can also be made henceforth research materials to influence another variable, namely interest to work at Sharia Bank.

The spread of the COVID-19 pandemic that has hit the world since the end of 2019 has resulted in the contraction of the country’s SMEs economic activities. To maintain business continuity, SME entrepreneurs have been advised to apply e-Commerce in their business routine. Throughout the crisis, subjective norms are seen as a dominant element in determining the implementation of SME entrepreneurial behaviour to accept new changes. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the factors that influence the subjective norms of SME entrepreneurs to accept e-Commerce. Despite this necessity, the delineation of the subjective norms constructed is still not comprehensive as there are limitations in terms of instrument development and the number of items to measure social influence. Hence, this study was conducted to explore item suitability, analyse the degree of validity and reliability as well as to validate the instrument for SMEs' subjective norms toward e-Commerce acceptance behaviour. A total of 159 SME entrepreneurs around Nilai and Seremban, Negeri Sembilan were selected as the respondents through random sampling technique. The results from Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) revealed two component factors of subjective norms which are Interpersonal Influence and External Influence explaining 81.981 percent of the total variance as conceptualised through this instrument. Meanwhile, the reliability index was above 0.9. Based on each analysis performed, it can be concluded that the instrument developed was very satisfactory and relevant in assessing SME entrepreneur subjective norms in accepting e-Commerce. We present ProfiWerk, a professionalization course geared towards pre-service Gymnasium teachers in mathematics, which is part of the preparation for an extended school-internship phase. Since the transition from university education to school practice can come with adverse discontinuity effects – rendering, at worst, university education ineffective – special focus is put on establishing stable connections between both mathematics content knowledge and mathematics education knowledge to the professional demands on mathematics teachers.

Four distinct constructs were identified from a survey of a sample of pre-service science teachers at a regional Australian University. The constructs emerged after employing Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) on respondents' perceptions of pedagogical practices incorporating the use of Information Communication and Technology (ICT). The key components of the survey were derived from a Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) survey developed for a national project. For future investigations of TPACK application in university contexts, a four-construct configuration of pre-service teacher TPACK perceptions is proposed requiring empirical confirmation. This inquiry depicts a portrait of emerging domains of TPACK. The relevance of the findings and their implications for universities that rely heavily on ICT in the delivery of are discussed, especially in relation to improving teaching practices.

Mathematics teachers’ beliefs play an important role in the mathematics teaching practices. However, the instruments used to measure the mathematics on certain contents are still limited. Thus, this study was conducted to develop a Multiplication Beliefs Questionnaire (MBQ) to identify and examine the profile of Turkish pre-service mathematics teachers’ beliefs. The samples of this study consisted of 414 four-year pre-service primary mathematics teachers from 18 different universities in Turkey collected using a convenience sampling technique. The validity of the questionnaire was analyzed using an exploratory factor analysis (EFA). We obtained four components of beliefs in multiplication covering, remote belief in multiplication (C1), multiplication operation belief in mathematics textbooks (C2), dynamic belief in multiplication learning (C3), and self-efficacy belief in multiplication problems (C4). The results showed that the pre-service mathematics teachers’ beliefs in components C1, C3, and C4 were positive, while component C2 was neutral. This study had an essential contribution to the mathematics literature since developing a questionnaire on multiplication distributed to the pre-service teachers. The previous studies showed that belief was subjective yet objectively influenced knowledge. Thus, identifying the pre-service teachers’ beliefs in teacher education may provide various benefits in reforming mathematics teaching.


Clients of automotive service industries are always anxious for after sales service. The objective of this research is to determine the association of variables of service quality and client contentment in bike industries. The information was gathered using convenience sampling technique from 150 users of bike industries in the form of questionnaire developed using SERVQUAL model. The important variables were extracted utilizing exploratory factor analysis. Hypothesis of the research was analyzed using multiple regression analysis and ANOVA. The results of the research revealed that the variables reliability, empathy, responsiveness, assurance, accessibility and convenience are found statistically significant to determine customer contentment whereas tangibility is not found significant to determine customer contentment and findings indicate that management have to focus on attributes like interest in solving clients’ problem, clients’ question to be answered timely by staff, trust in you to be inculcated by staff, individual consideration by staff and stopping region.
