Seiring dengan perkembangan jaman dan mengingat semakin meningkatnya volume lalu lintas kendaraan yang akan melewati Jembatan Langgaliru, maka perlu direncanakan alternatif struktur atas Jembatan Langgaliru dengan menggunakan balok girder prategang.Bentuk penampang balok girder yang digunakan pada perencanaan adalh balok girder tipe I. Pemberian tegangan dilakukan dengan metode Pasca Tarik (Post-Tensioning) dimana compressive force diinduksi ke dalam struktur beton dengan menggunakan high strength steel tendon yang dipasang dalam ducts embedded dalam beton. Tendon distressing setelah beton dicor dan dicuring sampai kuat tekan beton yang disyaratkan. Jumlah tendon yang digunakan 3 buah yang masing-masing tendon terdiri dari 15 untaian(strand).Tulangan Geser yang digunakan adalah D 19 – 250,penghubung geser yang digunakan adalah D 19 – 700,pulangan pecah ledak arah vertikal yang digunakan adalah D 10 – 550,tulangan pecah ledak arah horizontal yang digunakan adalah D 10 – 550, Tulangan Pecah Gumpal arah vertikal yang digunakan adalah D 36 – 60,tulangan pecah gumpal arah horizontal yang digunakan adalah D 36 – 240.

The external post-tensioning technique has been commonly used in the construction field because it facilitates the analysis of structures and is widely applicable for many types of structures. In this research, 12 steel H-beams were built and tested in terms of the amount of tendon or prestressing force. The results show that the externally prestressing method can increase ultimate bearing capacity of the beams. The prestressing force is the significant factor that influence the strengthening of steel H-beams. However, the amount of deviators cannot significantly influence the bearing capacity.

Currently, the use of composite materials is increasingly used in various areas of the national economy, including the aviation industry. The materials of this article are devoted to the study of the use of composite materials for the manufacture of aircraft landing gear in comparison with the traditionally used brand of steel. As a result of the work carried out, it was found that the slope made of carbon fiber showed a critical stress twice as high as its design made of 30xgsn2a steel. In addition, carbon plastics are superior to high-strength steel in terms of specific strength, stiffness, and tensile strength.
