The emergence of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) poses new educational challenges for teachers, to which it can respond from a consistent training model. This study has as its aim to analyze the technological, pedagogical and content knowledge needed for Primary Education teachers to integrate ICTs into teaching. A research work based on a quantitative non-experimental methodology which involved 224 Preschool and Primary Education teachers working in the province of Alicante (Spain) was performed with that aim. The important results showed that teachers are more knowledgeable in the pedagogical and content fields than in technology, which means that their level of technological knowledge does not suffice to integrate ICTs into their teaching tasks. Significant differences were additionally identified between gender and years of experience, together with the relationship between the fun use of technology and the knowledge of its essential aspects. Our findings confirm the need for a digital literacy campaign addressed to teachers, involving not only a technological type of training but also an overall pedagogical and content approach. This is in keeping with the TPACK model (Technological, Pedagogical and Content Knowledge), which appears as a reference framework to be taken into account when it comes to teachers’ professional development and its connection with the teaching-learning processes in the classroom wherever Information and Communication Technologies are present. La emergencia de las tecnologías de información y comunicación (TIC) plantea nuevos desafíos educativos al profesorado, a los cuales puede responder desde un modelo de formación coherente. El propósito de este estudio es analizar los conocimientos tecnológicos, pedagógicos y disciplinares del profesorado de Educación Primaria, necesarios para la integración de las TIC en la labor docente. Para ello, se llevó a cabo una investigación con una metodología cuantitativa de carácter no experimental en la que participaron 224 profesores de Educación Infantil y Primaria de la provincia de Alicante. Los resultados mostraron que los docentes poseen mayores conocimientos pedagógicos y disciplinares que tecnológicos, lo que conlleva a escasos conocimientos para la integración de las TIC en la labor docente. Se constataron, además, diferencias significativas entre el género y los años de experiencia docente, y la relación entre el uso lúdico de la tecnología y los conocimientos sobre sus aspectos fundamentales. Según los resultados obtenidos, se corrobora la necesidad de una alfabetización digital del profesorado abordada no solo desde una formación tecnológica, sino también pedagógica y disciplinar de forma global. Ello responde al modelo TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical and Content Knowledge), el cual se contempla como un marco de referencia a tener en cuenta por lo que respecta al desarrollo profesional del profesorado y su vinculación a los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje en el aula donde las TIC estén presentes.

This research analysed future teachers’ perceptions and attitudes towards the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in the development of inclusive educational practices. Adopting a quantitative research approach, data were collected through an ad hoc questionnaire administered to fourth-year early childhood education and primary education degree students from the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM), southeast Spain (n=231). Results revealed favourable perceptions towards ICT use in the classroom, with students viewing these resources as contributing to their professional development and improving digital competence. Furthermore, they report how ICTs present didactic opportunities for the development of the teaching-learning process when working with learners with specific educational support needs. Lastly, the research highlights statistically significant differences in future teachers’ perceptions towards the implications of ICT for teaching when developing inclusive educational processes as well as in their attitudes towards professional development and the training needs required for supporting learners with special educational needs. These differences are appreciated between early childhood education degree students and their primary education peers, the latter reporting more favourable assessments. ABSTRACTTo test whether the same activities with Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and without them can actually lead to positive results with one method or the other, it has been carried out a study case with two experimental groups (group X for students who work with ICT and group Y for students who do not use any technologies) with 9-10 year-old in the fourth grade of primary education and for English subject.RESUMENPara comprobar si hay actividades que llevadas a cabo con Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) y sin dichas tecnologías presentan variaciones significativas en el aprendizaje de los alumnos tanto para mejor o peor con un método u otro, se ha desarrollado un estudio de caso con dos grupos experimentales (grupo X para los alumnos que trabajan con TIC y grupo Y para los alumnos que no utilizan ninguna tecnología) con alumnos de 4º de Educación Primaria y para el área de inglés.

Abstract   The objective of this research is to find out the use of Whatsapp Messenger as a mobile media to learn writing in EFL classes.Several researchers have attempted to prove applicability of mobile learning as modern ways of teaching and learning (Naismith, 2004:115). Moreover, applying portable technologies have been demanded by most of the modern learners who oftentimes are forced to study anywhere, and anytime, for example, at work, in the bus or at weekends (Evans, 2008:115).The research was motivated by the students’ difficulties in writing. The sample of this research was three classes of first grade students of English Department of Unswagati. The instrument of this research was questionnaire sheet. Data from questionnaire sheet was analyzed based on the frequency students’ answers and then was calculated and interpreted into percentages. The result shows WhatsApp Messenger attracts the students interest and also the students have positive responses towards the using ofWhatsAppMessenger. In applying WhatsApp group, the writer concluded that, learning using WhatsApp group has effective to develop their creativity in writing skill. On the other hand, the result from the questionnaire sheet indicated that almost of students is active in learning to writing recount text. Students can learn out of the classroom. Beside WhatsApp can be used privately, it can be used for students’ education. The students can use their gadget positively for their ability in learning English. The students can improve their knowledge in learning ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies). When modern technology permeates every corner of life, there are ignited more and more hopes among the disabled to be compensated for the loss of mobility and participation in normal life, and with Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Exoskeleton Technologies and truly hands free technologies (HMI), it's possible for the disabled to be included in the social and pedagogic spheres, especially via computers and smartphones with social media apps and digital instruments for Augmented Reality (AR) .In this paper a nouvel HMI technology is presented with relevance for the inclusion of disabled in every day life with specific focus on the future development of "smart cities" and "smart homes".

If we want to convert our rural population into knowledge driven, progressive, self sufficient, self reliant, sustainable society, the role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT’s) cannot be ignored. Timely availability information is considered as most important factor in Indian agriculture. At present ICT is the technology of this millennium. Transferring the developed technology to all end users is time-consuming and tiresome task and is often not completed due to paucity of resources and lack of manpower. In India, agriculture and rural development has gained significantly from ICT due to its widespread extension and adoption. In this era of internet, ICT is committed to provide real, timely accurate authentic information to the farmers and rural peoples.
