If we want to convert our rural population into knowledge driven, progressive, self sufficient, self reliant, sustainable society, the role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT’s) cannot be ignored. Timely availability information is considered as most important factor in Indian agriculture. At present ICT is the technology of this millennium. Transferring the developed technology to all end users is time-consuming and tiresome task and is often not completed due to paucity of resources and lack of manpower. In India, agriculture and rural development has gained significantly from ICT due to its widespread extension and adoption. In this era of internet, ICT is committed to provide real, timely accurate authentic information to the farmers and rural peoples.

Over the past few years, information and communication technology has become constantly used in the education especially in the schools, colleges and universities. At the age of globalization technology has its impact upon almost all aspects of life. The purpose of this paper is to explore the role of information and communication technology (ICT) in the motivating University students. The main objectives of the study were to assess motivational features of information and communication technologies as perceived by students. The independent variable of the study was ICT and dependent variable was student’s motivation. Questionnaire was used in the study to collect data. The type of research was survey descriptive research. The sample size of 340 undergraduate students was selected through simple random sampling. Descriptive statistics mean, standard deviation, frequency and percentage were used in the study. Inferential statistics i.e., chi square test was employed for statistical analysis of the data through SPSS. The findings of the study show that ICT effects students’ motivation and improves their learning; knowledge retention and understanding. ICT can solve the problems of the students and motivates students.

Abstract. Digitalization of Islamic Economics. Digitizing sharia economy can be expanded in various economic aspects of both microeconomics and macroeconomics. Now, the role of digital is very unusual, almost all economies using information and communication technologies or digitalisation, both in packaging products or in marketing the product, making it easier and quicker distribution of information used to make economic growth more quickly and there is no limit to the support digital technology and information technology. Information technology has penetrated keindividu (personal) can support the digitization era of information and communication in the conventional economy and sharia economy, the technology is now in the palm of your hand gadgets such as mobile applications that can be downloaded and installed with features easily understood by the user. Similarly, in the world of banking, Islamic banking in conducting its activities in cooperation with information technology to establish Islamic banking information system by creating a special application (app) that can simplify all the processes of ownership in the existing transaction. Establishment of the digital society as a result of the accelerated by the development and application of information and communication technology is very intensive in all fields of economy, marketing, finance, services, education and so forth. Thus, digitization is formed to allow users in the transaction, so that the economy increased.Abstrak. Digitalisasi Ekonomi Syariah. Digitalisasi ekonomi syariah dapat merambah dalam berbagai aspek ekonomi baik ekonomi mikro maupun ekonomi makro. Sekarang ini peran digital sangat luar biasa, hampir semua perekonomian menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi atau digitalisasi, baik dalam mengemas produk ataupun dalam memasarkan produk, sehingga lebih  mudah dan  lebih cepat dalam distribusi informasi yang digunakan untuk membuat pertumbuhan ekonomi semakin cepat dan tiada batas dengan dukungan teknologi digital dan teknologi informasi. Teknologi informasi yang sudah merambah keindividu (personal) dapat mendukung era digitalisasi informasi dan komunikasi pada ekonomi konvensional maupun ekonomi syariah, teknologi tersebut sekarang sudah dalam genggaman tangan pengguna gadget seperti aplikasi mobile yang dapat diunduh dan dipasang dengan fitur mudah dimengerti oleh user. Demikian pula di dunia perbankan, dalam melakukan kegiatannya perbankan syariah bekerja sama dengan bidang teknologi informasi untuk membangun sistem informasi perbankan syariah dengan membuat aplikasi khusus (app) yang dapat mempermudah semua proses-proses transaksi yang ada diperbankan. Terbentuknya masyarakat digital akibat dari tersebut dipacu oleh perkembangan dan penerapan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang sangat intensif di semua bidang baik ekonomi, pemasaran, keuangan, jasa, pendidikan dan sebagainya. Maka, digitalisasi terbentuk untuk memudahkan pengguna dalam melakukan transaksi, sehingga perekonomian meningkat.

Information Technologies (ITs) are highly useful for Human rights promotion globally. Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) have proved the influential tool to fight against violations of Human rights. ICT has represented a way to strengthen human rights. Technology also means that individuals’ human rights are exposed to unprecedented risks, caused by the transition of these rights to the digital field. If we observe the different revolutions around the world especially the county having autocracy for a long period of time has been overruled with the help of ICTs. In this study, the analysis of the role of ICTs in Human rights has been made. The study summarizes that the ICT is playing vital role in establishing awareness and preventing violation of human rights of the global citizens.

In this paper, the role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and its challenges and opportunities in Indian education sector has been highlighted. Towards the end, the paper also presents a comparative study of ICT awareness and penetration among south Asia countries. Various reports were collected from difference government and private domains and the facts are summarized in this paper. The paper has succinctly reviewed the status of ICT in Indian education system. The research is based on the compilation of information available till 2010.

The article deals with the urgent problem of possibilities of using information and communication technologies during epidemics, and their role in the organization of the educational process in Ukraine under quarantine conditions. The analysis of publications on the role of information and communication technologies in epidemics has been carried out by searching on the Internet platforms that comprise abstract databases of scientific journal publications and patents. It is found out that for the most existing works are concerned with the closure of institutions during infectious disease outbreaks, the analysis of the importance of information and communication technologies in epidemics, the role of social media during pandemics, the role of mobile technologies in supporting the continuity of education during temporary closures of schools caused by different crises, experiences of the use of online or other communication technology for the temporary distance learning provision. The analysis of the publications revealed that most of the scientific papers found have been devoted to the problem of preventing the spread of the epidemic rather than organizing the educational process at the educational institution. The carried out research has comprised a quantitative and qualitative (content) analysis of Internet search results in various information resources and Internet services. The qualitative content analysis has been applied to clarify the essence of information and communication technology concepts of and to define the value of information and communication technologies for the organization of the educational process under quarantine conditions. The quantitative content analysis has been used to identify the frequency of words or phrases contained in the texts of scientific articles, web pages, social media posts outlined by the research topic. The analysis of articles in search systems for scientific publications and patents, the analysis of official information resources of different countries, the electronic search in the most popular search engines, the analysis of messages on the most popular social networks, the analysis of lists of educational topics, search in the shops of mobile applications have been carried out in the research. The descriptive analysis, classification, grouping, and graphical methods have been used to systematize, summarize, and present the results of the research. It is concluded that, at present, informing the population and educational institutions on the organization of the educational process under the conditions of pandemics and quarantine is not of sufficiently high quality and opportune. The situation with the dissemination of information and the support of educators in such an emergency as a pandemic needs further study, it is advisable to direct the actions and reactions of educators during this period in particular scientific analysis.

In the last few decades, Information Technology has transformed the entire world into a village, known as Global Village, as proposed by Marshal McLuhan. ICT has increased its influence in every field like the education sector, defense sector, technology etc. In the 21st century, information and communication technology (ICT) has become an important and integral part of most educational organizations throughout the world.. The use of ICT in classroom teaching and learning processes has become indispensable as it gives teachers and learners the opportunity to operate, store, control and retrieve data in addition to promoting self-regulated and active learning. (Ali, Haolader & Muhammad, 2013) Today we are dependent on technology and the role of ICT is increasing day by day and is believed to be a new normal. Keeping that in view, the present paper attempts to examine the relationship between information and communication technologies (ICT) and student learning. This conceptual paper  is based on secondary information collected from different sources such as books, journal articles, newspapers, reports of various government organizations, non-governmental organizations and soon.
