Objectives: The purpose of this study was to comparative analysis of effectiveness of isolated use of intradermal injections of modified hyaluronic acid (Hyalorepair 04) and its combination with platelet-rich autologous plasma in edentulous patients with perioral wrinkles of the skin. Materials and Methods: A total of 56 patient’s presence of perioral wrinkles of the skin participate in the study after dental implant prosthodontics rehabilitations. They were randomly divided into 2 groups in accordance with the applied therapy method (29 isolated implementation of modified hyaluronic acid bio-repairing and 27 bio-repairing combined with autologic plasmotherapy). Treatment included implant-prosthetic rehabilitation followed by hyaluronic acid injections in order to correct cheek-zygomatic sulcus, nasolabial folds and marionette wrinkles. Preparations in an amount from 1 to 4 ml were injected into the face area, depending on the zones to be corrected at the request of the patients. Results: The complex treatment restored the aesthetic profile of the face and oral cavity and increased the effectiveness of the chewing function. On M03 and M05, 2/3 of patients had significant improvement as assessed by physician and patient according to GAIS. Most of the patients also showed significant improvement at visit M12. Conclusion: A multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of edentulous patients with perioral wrinkles increases the functional and aesthetic effect of the treatment. Implementation of combined of bioreparation and autologous plasmotherapy is significantly more effective comparatively to the isolated implementation of modified hyaluronic acid. Introduction: The vertical heights and the proportions are very important for balance of the face and attractiveness along with the good smile. Harmonious vertical proportions and the Antero-posterior relations contribute to aesthetics. Therefore it is necessary to determine the vertical facial height and the ratios in treatment planning of the patients. The aims and objectives of this study are to compare the vertical facial heights of patients considering the Lower Anterior Facial Height (LAFH), the Upper Anterior Facial Height (UAFH), Total Anterior Facial Height (TAFH) and Posterior Facial Height (PFH) among the sexes in Class I skeletal group obtained from cephalometric analysis. Materials & Method: The study material comprised of 52 patients (24 males and 28 females) and lateral cephalometric radiographs were traced with Skeletal Class I relationship. Cephalometric analysis was performed by using hand tracing. Independent t tests were used for comparisons. Result: The total anterior facial height (TAFH), lower anterior facial height (LAFH), upper anterior facial height (UAFH), total posterior facial height (TPFH) measurements showed no significant differences between both sexes in Skeletal Class I group but statistically significant difference in ratios of posterior facial height and total anterior facial height and also there was statistically significant differences in the ratio between upper facial height and the total anterior facial height (p value <0.05). Conclusion: This cephalometric analysis can be applied to determine the vertical height of occlusion which can be helpful in prosthetic rehabilitation of edentulous patients.

To be human is great; to look human is wonderful! It is nature's greatest gift! Mother nature's womb is the safest place on earth for any life, but the calamity strikes and no one knows how Hence, Treasure your exceptions!, since nature seems nowhere accustomed more openly to display, its secret mysteries than in cases where it shows traces of its workings apart from the beaten path. A dismorphological pattern of congenital oro-craniofacial and limb defects which is a rare form of amniotic rupture sequence required persistent coordinated efforts of multiple disciplines and had manifested as bizarre orofacial clefting, cat eye syndrome with an ectopic eye, and aberrant tissue band lesions on limb. The challenge was to meet the child’s clamour for functional demands on premature exposure to open world and was overcome through a phased treatment implementation. Anophthalmos resulting from multiple ophthalmic surgeries for aberrant ectopic left eye and cat eye syndrome of right eye required a staged sequential preemptive planning for a successful outcome. Every phase of fabrication of orbital prosthesis comes with an impending challenge. Thus, a well-defined technique eliminating the common errors and creating a natural looking prosthesis, in the face of limitations, is imperative.

In clinical practice, as a rule, patients with involutive changesas well havea photodamage, it should be considered when choosing a method of correction. Microneedling, including the use of PRP and hyaluronic acid, arevery promising methods.Material and methods. There were 50 patients under observation, who were divided into three groups: 1st group – 18 patients received microneedling and PRP, 2nd group – 17 people used microneedling of hyaluronic acid, 3rd group – 15 patients received microneedling. Four procedures were performed with an interval of 4 weeks.Results. According to dermatological status index, PRP microneedlingshowed the effectiveness, the index decreased by 86 % in the group. In group 2, the average index for the group decreased by 56 %, in group 3–41 %.Conclusions.Microneedling is an effective safe method for correcting involutive changes in the skin of the face, combined with signs of photoaging. To increase the effectiveness of microneedling, it is recommended to use autologous plasma with cells directly after the procedure applicationinto the form or the film.

: Breast cancer is a complex heterogeneous disease that is categorized into several histological and genomic subtypes with relevant prognostic and therapeutical implications. Such diversity requires a multidisciplinary approach for a comprehensive treatment that will involve surgeons, radiotherapists and medical oncologists. Breast cancer is classified as either local (or locoregional), which stands for 90-95% of cases, or metastatic, representing 5% of cases. : The management of breast cancer will be determined by the stage of the disease. The treatment of local breast cancer is based on surgery and/or radiotherapy. Systemic breast cancer requires chemotherapy and/or endocrine and/or biological therapy.

The aim of this study is to demonstrate the use and the effectiveness of cephalometry and golden proportions analysis of the face in planning prosthetic treatments in totally edentulous patients. In order to apply this method, latero-lateral and posterior-anterior X-rays must be performed in addition to the common procedure. Two main concerns for totally edentulous patients are the establishment of the vertical dimension and the new position of the occlusal plane. The divine proportion analysis was carried out by the use of a golden divider. The prosthetic protocol was divided into three steps and a case was selected for better understanding. Referring to the golden relations, if the distance from the chin to the wing of the nose is 1.0, the distance from the nose to eye is 0.618. This proportion is useful and effective in determining the correct prosthetic vertical dimension. The incisal margin of the lower incisor must be positioned between Point A (A) and protuberance menti (Pm) according to the gold ratio 0.618 of the total height A-Pm. Posteriorly the occlusal plane must be placed 2 mm below the divine occlusal plane (traced from the incisal margin of lower incisors to Xi point). A prosthesis made in accordance with cephalometric parameters and divine proportions of the face helps to improve the patient’s aesthetics, function and social personality.

In this paper, we proposed an efficient method to address the problem of color face image segmentation that is based on color information and saliency map. This method consists of three stages. At first, skin colored regions is detected using a Bayesian model of the human skin color. Then, we get a chroma chart that shows likelihoods of skin colors. This chroma chart is further segmented into skin region that satisfy the homogeneity property of the human skin. The third stage, visual attention model are employed to localize the face region according to the saliency map while the bottom-up approach utilizes both the intensity and color features maps from the test image. Experimental evaluation on test shows that the proposed method is capable of segmenting the face area quite effectively,at the same time, our methods shows good performance for subjects in both simple and complex backgrounds, as well as varying illumination conditions and skin color variances.
