Human health determines the measure of socioeconomic development of the country. Inspiration of health workers’ work’s quality does not go beyond the salary. Doctors noted a lack of motivation to improve the quality of medical services. The reason for the low quality of treatment is the lack of modern technology and the deficiency of specialists. A significant part of the funds should be directed to financing of outpatient level instead of expensive hospital care. It is necessary to implement financing on disease prevention. The quality of polyclinics should be evaluated by considering the number of prescribed or treated patients, where the patient gives his vote using his personalized account.

The mental state of the mentally ill is one of the most important factors in the treatment of the patient by a medical professional. But aggression, high-pitched communication, indifference of a doctor or health care worker can negatively affect the outcome of treatment and recovery of a patient with mental and behavioral disorders. The problem of modern medical deontology in Ukraine is the stigmatization of health workers to patients with mental disorders, which lead to self-stigmatization of both patients and their families. The purpose of the study is to enable the relatives of mentally ill people undergoing long-term inpatient treatment, to determine the quality of medical services in a psychoneurological hospital, to identify ethical and deontological shortcomings in the doctor’s relationship with relatives of mentally ill person, to determine the level of self-stigmatization in relatives of the patient by medical staff. The analysis of domestic and foreign scientific sources, bibliosemantic, analytical and statistical research methods were used in the work. A questionnaire was conducted (using a specially designed questionnaire) with elements of interviews of 92 respondents (relatives of mentally ill patients who were treated at a psychoneurological hospital in Vinnytsia). The results were processed using the licensed standardized package "Statistica 6.1". The need to comply with state building codes for health care facilities in accordance with European requirements has been proven. This will eliminate the feeling of hopelessness during hospitalization in public psychoneurological hospitals, which are a great trauma for relatives of patients. It has been shown that in order to prevent stigmatization of relatives of patients in psychoneurological hospitals, it is necessary to conduct trainings and interviews after training, which will determine the degree of stigmatization and subsequent preventive measures. It is shown that for relatives of mentally ill on the basis of psychoneurological hospitals it is necessary to equip rooms for psychodiagnostics and further psychocorrection. Development of affordable correctional programs for relatives of patients will reduce maladaptation and improve life satisfaction.

Aim. Conduct a questionnaire survey of in private clinic patients to study the problems of ophthalmologic aid quality. Methods. The survey included 108 patients who filled in a specially designed questionnaire. Typological and variation analysis was performed, relative and mean statistical values were calculated; statistical significance of revealed differences was checked. Results. When choosing a private clinic, young people often rely on advertising, while the older patients - on the opinion of relatives and friends. Patients seek for paid services because they believe in a higher healthcare, with 59.3% of respondents believe that the quality of care is improved if they pay. Services of paid clinics are quite affordable for the majority of the interviewed patients (proposed service cost is moderate, transport accessibility, travelling time and admission queue time are quite acceptable). Generally, consumers gave a positive assessment of the clinic staff and its activities as a whole: the relationship with the doctor was characterized as trustful, attentive and respectful, involving a complete understanding of patient’s problems by the medical staff. Most respondents (92.6%) find their physician a specialist of high qualification. The main reasons for dissatisfaction with paid medical services are discrepancy between price and quality, low treatment effect, which is closely coupled with the staff competence and incorrect behavior of health workers. Conclusion. The conducted survey showed high satisfaction with medical services provided in a private clinic.

A nemzetközi szakirodalom egyre gyakrabban foglalkozik azzal a kérdéssel, hogy a minőségi indikátorokra támaszkodó nyilvános minőségértékelésnek mi a hatása az ellátás minőségére és az érintettek döntésére vonatkozóan, illetve melyek azok a kritériumok, amelyek mentén nyilvános minőségértékelési rendszereket célszerű kialakítani. A nemzetközi szakirodalom alapján a dolgozat hat témakört mutat be: (1) az indikátorok képessége a szolgáltatók megkülönböztetésére; (2) az eredményindikátorok alkalmassága a szolgáltatók megítélésére; (3) a bajnoki tabellák képessége a szolgáltatók rangsorolására; (4) a lakosság viselkedése a szolgáltatók választása során; (5) az indikátorokra támaszkodó nyilvános minősítések hatásai; (6) ajánlások minősítési rendszerek kidolgozására. A szakirodalmi kutatások szerint elsősorban a kockázatkiegyenlítési problémák miatt az indikátorok képessége a szolgáltatók megkülönböztetésére a nyújtott ellátás minősége szempontjából kérdéses; az elért ellátási eredmények nem feltétlenül utalnak vissza az ellátási folyamatok minőségére; a több indikátorból komponált intézményi sorrendek (bajnoki tabellák) nem megbízhatóak; a lakosság a szolgáltatók kiválasztásakor elsősorban a környezet véleményét és a távolságot veszi figyelembe; és a nyilvános közlések hatására igazoltan romlik az ellátás átfogó minősége. A szolgáltatók értékelésében alkalmazott mérési eredmények közzétételét eszköznek kell tekinteni. A lakosság intézményválasztásának elősegítésére az ő preferenciáik mentén végzett betegelégedettségi vizsgálatok nyilvánossá tétele hozhatja meg a kívánt eredményt. A minőségfejlesztési célokat igazoltan segítik a szolgáltatói körben végzett közvetlen visszajelzések az indikátorok mért értékeiről, illetve pontosabb kép kapható az ellátási és szervezési folyamatok, standardok egységes felülvizsgálatára alapozott eljárások külső értékelési rendszerekbe történő beemelésével.

Environmental health is referring to the health of people in relation to environmental quality. Due to rapid urbanisation, more people are living in urban neighbourhoods. Urban planning and design aspects including the neighbourhood environment are potentially affecting the human healthy lifestyle and health condition. Thus, the relationship between Malaysian neighbourhood environmental aspects and human health has become the concern of this research. One of the neighbourhood units in Shah Alam city had been chosen as the study area for this purpose. Questionnaire survey had been carried out to examine the health condition and physical activeness of residents. Besides, the perception of residents on the quality of neighbourhood environmental aspects also had been collected in the questionnaire survey. The health condition of residents was measured by non-communicable diseases (NCD) and the physical activeness was measured in duration as well as the frequency of physical exercise activities. The study found that the quality of neighbourhood environmental aspects significantly increased the physical activeness of respondents. The physical activeness was positively associated with human health as measured in NCD (heart diseases and high blood pressure, HBP). It shows that neighbourhood environmental (physical and social) aspects are potentially affecting the healthy life of people living in the neighbourhood. Keywords: Healthy life, Neighbourhood environment, Non-communicable diseases (NCD), Physical activeness, Quality.

In recent times, we are witnessing the technological revolution which provides access to tremendous changes in all the fields including the industrial sectors. The notable benefit of the modern technology is quick accomplishment of complex tasks within a short span of time, which has motivated the manufacturers to imbibe novelty techniques in the production process to enhance the quality of the product so as to retain its market position amidst the competitors. As globalization has gained more concern, the manufacturers employ internet advertising strategy to elevate the product to international level and to propagate the attributes of the products to the customers residing worldwide. In this paper an EPQ inventory model is developed in which the associated costs of technology, acquisition of local and international customers via internet advertising costs are included, a numerical example is also presented to validate the model.

Liquid effluents discharged by hospitals may contain chemical and biological contaminants whose main source is the different substances used for the treatment of patients. This type of rejection can present a sanitary potentially dangerous risk for human health and can provoke a strong degradation of diverse environmental compartments mainly water and soils. The present study focuses on the quality of the liquid effluents of Hassani Abdelkader’s hospital of Sidi Bel-Abbes (West of Algeria). The results reveal a significant chemical pollution (COD: 879 mgO2/L, BOD5: 850 mgO2/L, NH4+ : 47.9 mg/l, NO2- : 4.2 mg/l, NO3- : 56.8 mg/l with respect to WHO standard of 90 mgO2/L, 30 mgO2/L, 0.5 mg/l, 1 mg/l and 1 mg/l respectively). However, these effluents are biodegradable since the ratio COD/BOD5 do not exceeded the value of 2 in almost all samples. The presence of pathogen germs is put into evidence such as pseudomonas, the clostridium, the staphylococcus, the fecal coliforms and fecal streptococcus. These results show that the direct discharge of these effluents constitutes a major threat to human health and the environment.
