La disciplina del idioma inglés es parte de las mallas curriculares en el nivel universitario con el objetivo de posibilitar la comunicación en la lengua inglesa con la integración de las cuatro habilidades (expresión oral, audición, lectura y escritura) para que le sea útil en la vida laboral del profesional. Este trabajo se traza como objetivo caracterizar el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje del    inglés  para  estudiantes  de  la  carrera  de  Comercio  Exterior  para  el  desarrollo  de  la competencia comunicativa en dicho proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje del inglés en la Universidad. Para alcanzar los resultados esperados se han utilizado diferentes métodos para conocer la esencia del fenómeno analizado. Así, entre otros para el desarrollo de la investigación han sido fundamentales los siguientes métodos: Análisis y síntesis, Inductivo-deductivo y el Método  sistémico  funcional.  Los  procesos de  enseñanza  y  aprendizaje  promueven en  cada estudiante la apropiación del conocimiento, pero el proceso en sí influye significativamente en las formas de aprendizaje, y las relaciones que establece el profesional con el entorno del Comercio Exterior.  Palabras claves: Enseñanza- aprendizaje, competencias, construcción del conocimiento, aprendizaje de lenguas Prevalence of teenage pregnancy and its psychosocial impact on the general hospital served Jipijapa, Ecuador   Abstract  The discipline of English is part of the curricula at the university level in order to enable communication in the English language with the integration of the four skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) to make it useful in professional working life. This work is drawn to characterize the process of teaching learning English for students of the career Foreign Trade for the development of communicative competence in the teaching-learning process of English at the University. To achieve the expected results have used different methods to learn the essence of the phenomenon analyzed. Thus, among others for the development of fundamental research have been the following methods: Analysis and synthesis, inductive-deductive and systemic  functional method. The processes of teaching and learning in each student promote the appropriation of knowledge, but the process itself significantly influences the ways of learning, and the professional relationship with the external trade environment. Although the benefits of blended learning have been well documented in educational research, relatively few studies have examined blended mobilities in education in Kurdistan region government and in Iraq. This study discusses a blended mobility approach for a teacher training program designed for in-service English language teachers (ELT) and investigates its effectiveness by comparing the latest participation of the University of Human Development for computer science and proposing the same program for training English for lecturers and students. The research involved proposes new mobility program for teaching and learning English language and using their language skills in an ongoing business project using several software for communication and management of their projects. Results will show the framework for new blended learning and blended mobilities of many different English language teaching (ELT) aspects.

After Lithuania had regained its independence the policy of foreign languages teaching/learning at secondary schools changed cardinally. The majority or former school leavers do not perceive it to be purposeful and meaningful to prolong the English language learning on the university or college level. According to them, having covered the secondary school programme they possess a full baggage of the English language knowl-edge allowing them to communicate fluently in the above mentioned language while travelling, studying and working in foreign countries. Does this belief correspond to the reality of today? The article is based on four factors which are supposed to motivate freshmen and senior students to go on learning the English language as the main tool to enhance their position in contemporary world irreversibly affected by massive globalization and Eurointegration processes. VDU UKI in spring semester of 2014 carried out a research. The questionnaire was compiled the goal of which was to determine whether the English language level of the students matches all the international requirements for the language awareness and present the motives for students to continue the English language studies on a higher level. 172 first year students of various programmes participated in the research. The principle points of the questionnaire sought to provide answers to the following questions: whether the level of the English language acquirement is sufficient after having covered the secondary school programme, if VDU UKI Eng-lish language teaching/learning policy enables students to acquire the language on a higher level, whether a language is a living, thus a constantly changing organism which requires progressive studies and refreshment of knowledge, if the level of language acquisition remains on the same level if it is not exploited on daily ba-sis. Having systematized the questionnaire results the authoresses of the article draw the conclusion for the purposefulness of continuing the English language level on the university and college level.

This study refers to the problem study of the teaching and learning needs which requires English learning resources in order to meet the expectations of students during the ESP pandemic teaching and learning process. The fundamental goal of this research is to create effective digital English learning resources for students at the University of Serang Raya's Economics faculty. The main goals of creating a digital English coursebook based on contextual teaching-learning are to help Economics students enhance their English language skills and to meet their learning demands. This research was carried out using the PSDD model as a research and development method (Preliminary Study, Design, and Develop). The information is gathered using a questionnaire and a speech assessment form.

The growing use of English as the language of global communication leads to the growing demand for learning it among adult population of non-English-speaking countries. If such people did not have a chance of acquiring English during their school or university years but urgently need it for professional or personal purposes, they learn it in courses offered by numerous commercial language schools and centers. This article deals with the experience of teaching English at such schools and centers in Ukraine. The way of teaching and learning suggested in the article was developed to meet students’ expectations and, at the same time, to be in full accordance with the most cutting edge achievements in today’s approaches to organizing adult students’ successful language acquisition. The developed method of teaching/learning was called the communicative-analytic one since, on the one hand, it makes use of the best in communicative language learning required for optimal attainment of the final goal of language education for adults – developing their English communicative competence. On the other hand, the communicative approach is combined with learners’ analysis, practicing, and consciousness-raising as to separate language forms that students believe to be indispensable for language acquisition. Experiential learning activities and cultural orientation of the method are discussed, as well as some peculiarities of using it in courses of different levels within a commercial English language program.

Regardless of the integration of technology into English learning at school brings an abundance of advantages, there are still very few teachers who have been implementing technology. iPad as a learning medium in English language learning has been widely applied in many countries. However, the use of iPad for English language learning in Banda Aceh is still considered uncommon. Descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach was carried to find out an English teacher’s attitude towards the integration of iPad in English teaching-learning class in Al-Azhar Cairo Islamic Junior High School in Banda Aceh. An observation sheet and guided interview were used to gather the data. The data analysis was processed in the form of condensation data, display data, and conclusion data which are proposed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014). The findings show that the English teacher delivered 91 utterances consisted of 34 affective attitudes, 28 conative attitudes, 16 evaluative attitudes, and 13 cognitive attitudes. The highest frequency attitude showed by the teacher is the affective attitude meanwhile the lowest is the cognitive attitude.

Some students in the university got some difficulties to express their ideas, especially expressing in foreign language such as English. How to start comunication and interaction sometime need someone to stimulate. The phenomenon often encountered in various levels of education even to the students college. The students tended to be very subjective towards topics, their peer or even partner. In the teaching and learning process, the teacher not only transfer the information to the students but also facilitate the students, stimulate to learn English and provide the technique suitable with the students’ need. Teaching English language might be carried out through several techniques, one of them was CLL (Community Language Learning). In this technique, students were treated as clients who could express their problems to the counselor as well as in the community. In addition, the teacher played the role of translator to help students express themselves using English. This means that learners had enough opportunities to speak without worrying about their limitations in using English. The results showed that CLL helped students to express ideas systematically. The ideas were organized well, understandable, and standardized. In addition, CLL improved the result of students’ score in speaking skill. The mean score increased from 54.74 in pre-test to 72.86 in post-test. It means that CLL gave good influence on students’ speaking skill.

Teaching a language and addressing the need of the learners is a complex and challenging exercise. Language plays a prominent role in teaching learning process; however, when it comes to teaching of English language, these challenges multiply especially, within the classroom context because of the learners and their diversity of choices. The Irony behind teaching and learning of English language lies in its context in the global level. English Language seems to have many challenges because of the need to proficiency, competency and fluency of users who are capable of utilising the language skills mainly, LSRW (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing) to gain employment in global markets. But today, teaching the learners the skills of the language has become more challenging because the learners exhibit a negative feeling to language classes. The present paper emphasises on making teachers more adaptable for the teaching process by avoiding various classroom discrepancies and preparing the learners to utilize new methods for better and effective skill-based language learning.

This research aimed to describe the evaluation of ELLIS (English Language Learning and Instruction System) Program in English teaching and learning process in SMP Bopkri 3 Yogyakarta in terms of the context, input, process, and product aspects.This research is an evaluation research employing CIPP model by Stufflebeam (2010). The data were collected through observation, open questionnaires, and interviews and were analyzed using Miles, Huberman and Saldana’s flow model of qualitative data research which included data collection, data condensation, data display and conclusion drawing.The findings revealed that the evaluation of ELLIS Program in English teaching and learning process in SMP Bopkri 3 Yogyakarta related to the process of context was in line with the objective of the program that is improving the students’ English skills and the program can support the English teaching-learning process. In term of input, the program is appropriate according to the required standard for good teaching learning English, this program is supported by the school’s entire component, the facilities of the teaching-learning process is completed, the material in ELLIS program can apply consecutively to be able to improve students’ English skill. On the process of teaching and learning has appropriated, the schedules of ELLIS program is held correctly and on time, every meeting the teacher always use ELLIS, the procedures and activities ELLIS program are implemented correctly, the students always participate actively during the learning process, the students more interested in learning English. Dealing with product the students more understand, easier in catching the material and more comfortable in taking part of the learning process, they feel happy and feel that their ability in learning English increase, the students’ English skill can improve successfully, the students can communicate with the teacher and their other friends in English correctly, the aim of this program can hold successfully. Between 250-300 words; must focus on: aims of the study, methods, findings, conclusions, and implications.

<p>Literature is not generally considered as a coherent branch of the curriculum in relation to language – development in either mother tongue or foreign language – teaching. As teachers of English in Multi cultural Indian class rooms we come across students with varying degree of competence in English language learning. Though, language learning is a natural process for natives but the Students of other languages put in colossal efforts to learn it. Despite   their sincere efforts they face challenges regarding Pronunciation, Spelling and Vocabulary. The Indian class rooms are a microcosm of the larger society, so teaching English language in a manner which equips the students to face the cut-throat competition has become a necessity and a challenge for English language Teachers. English today has become the key determinant for getting success in their career. The hackneyed and stereotypical methods of teaching are not acceptable now. Teachers have no longer remained arbitrary dispensers of knowledge but they are playing the role of a guide and facilitator for the students. Teachers of English are using innovative ideas to make English language teaching and learning interesting and simple. Teachers have started using the literary texts and their analysis to explore and ignite the imagination and creative skills of the students. One needs to think and rethink the contribution of literature to intelligent thinking as well as its role in the process of teaching – learning. My paper would, therefore, be an attempt at exploring the nature of the literary experience in the present day class rooms; and the broader role of literature in life.</p>

There is a significant psychological aversion to English as a foreign language in Saudi Arabia. General weakness among learners opting for English majors and undergraduate learners of the English language is noted. Different learners are unaware of learning styles most suited to them. This research discussed the necessity for sensitizing university teachers towards the contributing factors in the success or failure of teaching and learning the English Language in Saudi Arabia. Teaching-learning processes would be fruitful if the syllabus designers, teachers, and learners become aware of important factors like teacher’s characteristics, learners’ characteristics, teaching materials, and educational institutions. This study aimed to emphasize the role of the English language teacher in facilitating learning processes, through conducting active research of English language learners at Wadi Ad-Dawasir in Saudi Arabia. This research enhances the prospects of pedagogical studies of different language learning and teaching.
