Decision Support System is a computerized system designed to increase effectiveness in decision making to solve semi-structured and unstructured problems so that the decision-making process can be of higher quality. One method of solving MADM problems is by using the Simple Additive Weighting method. The SAW method is to find the weighted sum of the performance ratings for each alternative of all attributes. This study aims to design and create a system to determine which employees are entitled to receive bonuses, for that we need a decision support for giving employee bonuses decisions. In this study using the Simple Additive Weighting method. The system development model used is a waterfall. Waterfall has several stages, namely needs analysis, system design, writing program code, program testing, program implementation and maintenance. The results showed the benefits of the SAW method as a decision support system for determining employee bonuses based on the employee performance of PT. Mayatama Solusindo can assist administrators in determining employee bonuses quickly and effectively. So the bonus that employees get using the SAW method is the basic salary times the percentage of the ranking value.

MNC Group as a television media company, performs performance appraisal for each employee as a job evaluation material, which is carried out by the head of the division, one of which is the head of the technical division of 112 other employees. The process of evaluating employee performance at MNC Group is still done manually, which is using Microsoft Excel applications one by one which makes the length of the process. The employee's assessment and appraisal report does not display the ranking from the top to the bottom of all of the employees. Decision support system in evaluating employee performance in MNC Group using the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method with this white box test is made to assist the head of the division to expand employee appraisal capabilities. The employee performance appraisal process is carried out in a computerized, structured and systematic manner based on the assessment criteria previously determined by the MNC Group, namely the quantity of work, accuracy & time management, quality of work and efficiency. The SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method is a weighted addition method by looking for weighted sums of performance ratings on each alternative on all attributes. So that it can be obtained from every employee at MNC Group. Testing of system results that have been made is very necessary to know that the system is running well. Tests carried out are white box testing which is based on checking the details of the design, using the control structure of the program design procedurally to divide the test into several test cases. So that the value of the test results is known, namely 2 with the type of procedure is a simple procedure and the risk level is low risk.

In determining scholarship recipients in schools manually, errors often occur causing inefficient management of scholarship data in terms of time and the absence of clear criteria for how students can obtain scholarships. To anticipate that mistakes do not occur, a Decision Support System is needed. One method that can be used is the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The data collection method used was the observation method to the school and the interview method with the related teachers regarding the scholarship acceptance. In this research, system development is carried out using the Waterfall method. And for system testing used Black-box Testing. The system design uses the Unified Model Language (UML), which includes usecase diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams. Then the program implementation uses the PHP programming language and MySQL database. This application will also display the value, criteria, alternatives and then a ranking of the scholarship recipient determination process. With this decision support system, the school will get the results of who is entitled to receive the scholarship. Keywords: Decision Support System, Scholarship, Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Method, Unified Model Language (UML).

Abstract: In the decision making process of the feasibility of corn raw materials so far only see the physical raw materials tend to be subjective so that in the decision making process of the feasibilityof corn raw materials must take a long time , sometimes the decision taken is not appropriate so that this needs to be addressed again for the feasibility of corn raw materials. From the description above need to be made an auxiliary program for decision support system by using fuzzy SAW ( Simple Additive Weighting ) method in determining corn raw material that is acceptable to PT. Charoen Phokpand Indonesia. Program which will be made more to assist manager or staff in taking decision and not replace it. The results of this study are expected to assist managers or staff in making decisions for the process of assessing the feasibility of corn raw materials in PT. Charoen Phokpand Indonesia so as to improve the quality of human resources. Dari uraian diatas perlu dibuat suatu program bantu untuk sistem pendukung keputusan dengan menggunakan metode fuzzy SAW (Simple Additeve Weighting) dalam menentukan bahan baku jagung yang layak diterima pada PT. Charoen Phokpand Indonesia. Program yang akan dibuat lebih bersifat untuk membantu manager atau staff dalam pengambilan keputusan dan bukan menggantikannya. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu manager atau staff dalam mengambil keputusan untuk proses penilaian kelayakan bahan baku jagung pada PT. The implementation of decision support system tools in providing decision support for management is absolutely necessary. In its application, this aims to make the decision effective so that the decisions produced can be objective. This research discusses employee performance appraisal by implementing a decision support system. Many methods of decision support systems that can be used to rank, but in this study, the authors use the ranking method known as Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). The SAW method works by summing the weighted attributes that are interrelated. This method is quite simple and is able to provide the right decisions for employees who have the best performance to be recommended in job promotions. In this research, assessment attributes are used, namely education, experience, expertise, collaboration, work quality, and discipline. The final results show that employees on behalf of Ferdinal have the highest value with a value of 0.850.

Decision Support System (SPK) is a computer-based system that combines models and data in an effort to solve unstructured problems with user involvement through an easy-to-use user interface. This system is used to help decision making in semitructured situations and unstructured situations, where no one knows for sure how decisions should be made. Simple Additive Weighting method is one of the settlement methods for Multi attribute decision making (MADM) problems. This method evaluates several alternatives to a set of attributes or criteria, where each attribute does not depend on each other. Hope from the results of the study, the use of Simple Additive Weighting as a model of the Eligible Decision Support System for Rastra Assistance using the weighted product method in Karang Bangun Village, Siantar Subdistrict, Simalungun Regency can help the village in calculating the feasibility of rice recipients and to determine the eligibility of recipients of rice faster and more accurate. because this application is easier than the old system and the data storage is more accurate.Keywords: Decision Support Systems, Simple Additive Weighting, Rastra, Poor

Civil Service Police Unit (municipal police) is part of the area in the enforcement of legislation and arrangements for public order and public tranquility . Decision Support System or DSS ( Decision Support System ) is a computer -based information systems whose main goal is to help decision -making utilize data and models to solve the problems that are unstructured and semi- structured . In accepting prospective members of the previous municipal police PSDM section sorting and selecting applicants one by one entering the data so that the data obtained is not clear didapt results of each participant. By using Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) is used to find an alternative from a number of alternatives to optimize certain criteria , while the Simple Additive Weighting method (SAW). SAW method is often also known term weighted summation method . The basic concept is to find a method SAW weighted summation of the performance ratings of all the attributes of each alternative.

Decision support system is the composition of a computer-based information system that functions as a supporter of decision making in an organization or company. Decision making in determining the provision of financing is very important because with the right decision the provision of financing can run well. Decision making method is useful for determining the best alternative from a number of other alternatives based on certain criteria, including the simple additive weighting method, Weighted Product and Technique For Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution. A comparison of the methods of this decision support system is carried out to determine which method provides the highest accuracy value of the financing data for the El-Raushan BMT cooperative. Based on comparison of the SAW Method, Weighted Product and TOPSIS methods show that the Weighted Product method is more accurate than the simple additive weighting method Technique For Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution. Judging from the value of the accuracy of the three methods with the highest accuracy WP (Weighted Product) method with an accuracy value of 94%.

This research discusses the combination of Rank Order Centroid (ROC) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods to produce company manager's decisions in evaluating employee performance. The results of employee performance appraisal are expected to be more effective and objective due to the support of the decision support system used. Many studies have been conducted in performance appraisal using the Simple Additive Weighting method, but have not or do not use good weighting. With a combination of weighting and ranking methods, the outcome of the decision will certainly be more effective.


Employee Performance Evaluation at CV Artha Mandiri Pringsewu is still done manually, without a computerized system, so that it faces obstacles to obtain actual and accurate information. In order to be successful in business today, CV. Artha Mandiri needs information system that can support decision making and various information. Problems that often occur in the process of employee performance appraisal include the decision-making subjectivity, especially if several existing employees have abilities that are not much different. The use of decision support systems is a solution to reduce subjectivity in decision making designed with Visual Basic 6.0 programming, The calculations were performed on all criteria for all employees, so it is expected that employees with the best abilities are selected. Decision support system is supported by a descriptive method in the development of system software with Waterfall model. The calculation process is carried out to determine employee recommendations in the Promotion System based on 3 aspects namely Intellectual Capacity, Work Attitude and Behavior. The result of this process is employee ranking. This ranking is the basis for decision makers to choose employees who are suitable in the vacant positions that are expected to help evaluating the performance of employees at CV Artha Mandiri
