The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has forced the economic activity of the Indonesian population to decline drastically, which has an impact on the education funding process. Given these problems, it is necessary to develop a Decision-Making System to assist the selection process for KIP admissions for students who meet the requirements. The purpose of this research is that the provision of KIP can be right on target. For decision making, three stages are used with the method used, the first stage is the C-45 method for student priority decision making, the second stage is the Fuzzy MADM method, and the third stage is ranking according to the total quota. which is determined. The initial selection used the C-45 method with the variables of GPA, parents' income, achievements, parental dependents, and cases. The results of the C4.5 calculation show that the first priority is parental dependents with a Gain value of 0.007822696, followed by a GPA with a Gain value of -0.130011482, the third priority is Parents' Income with a Gain value of -0.702657067 and the last priority is an achievement. The results of the calculation are continued with Fuzzy MADM resulting in 5 rules used to determine student priorities (can) or not. The results achieved from 140 students who applied were accepted by 135 students who passed the initial stage, and out of 135 rankings, 70 students were determined to receive scholarships from the Government with the highest calculation score of 21 and the lowest of 14.4.

Scholarship recipient students have more demands and responsibilities than non-scholarship students. The demands of lectures can put pressure on students that can trigger psychological distress. Each individual is different in assessing the stress experienced depending on the personality. The research instrument used the NEO Five-Factor Inventory-3 scale and the Hopkins Symptom Checklist-25 scale (HSCL-25). The results of the comparison test show that there is no difference between recipients and non-scholarship recipients. The results of the correlation test show that there is a significant positive relationship between neuroticism and psychological distress, while extraversion and conscientiousness have a significant negative relationship with psychological distress. However, there is no significant relationship between openness to experience and agreeableness to psychological distress.

Bidikmisi scholarship recipients are a group of university students who receive fundings Indonesian government every year. They come from various regions and economic backgrounds. However, the distribution of origin of students receiving the Bidikmisi scholarships has never been investigated accurately. As a result, information related to the geographical distribution of Bidikmisi scholarship recipients, both from an economic point of view and the quality of their education, has not yet been mapped. This study, therefore, developed a geographic information system (GIS) application based on google API to map the distribution of students receiving Bidikmisi scholarship based on region and economic geography. Data were gathered through surveys and interviews with experts and stakeholders from the State Islamic University of Datokarama Palu, Indonesia, to obtain information regarding the GIS design and also the criteria for Bidikmisi scholarship recipients. The results of the study show that 305 students received the scholarship from twelve regencies in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. The origins of the students were successfully mapped throughout the province. This study utilizes a non-equivalent groups research design to compare the educational experiences and outcomes of two student groups – those who did and those who did not receive a needs-based scholarship to attend secondary school and college in the Dowa, Kasungu, and Lilongwe Districts of Malawi. We assess impacts across a range of short and medium-term outcomes, including: school attendance, withdrawal, attainment, graduation, employment status, employment quality, and post-schooling income. The scholarship substantially reduces the household cost of participation in school, and reduces the distance travelled to school. As a result, we find that scholarship recipients attain between 1 and 1.5 years of additional school and graduate at higher rates. In terms of post-schooling outcomes, we find that recipients are in higher wage-earning occupations after leaving school. Overall, results suggest that scholarships are an effective demand-side strategy for improving schooling attainment, progression, and potentially longer-term labor market outcomes.
