The article presents a review of plenary session of the international scientific conference “Russian Middlegame: Economy, Technogenesis, Geostrategy” organized by laboratory of philosophy of economy of Faculty of economics of MSU together with scientific council of «Center of social sciences of MSU» on December 5-7, 2018. The reports considering the current state of Russia’s economy from various positions, geostrategies at the middlegame moment, a middle and most responsible part of the big game, that by Russia forcedly leads on world «chessboard», were submitted at plenary session. Presented points of view allow to consider in a new fashion present world processes, their influence on the Russian policy and economy, to offer strategy for Russia in this world game.

The article presents an overview of the plenary conference of the international scientific conference «Russia in the remaking: the Civilization, Technogenesis, the Economy» organized by laboratory of philosophy of economic together with the scientific council «Center of Social Sciences of MSU» held on December 9–11, 2020 in the online format at Faculty of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University. Reports that consider from various positions the state and prospects of the Russian society, the Russian economy and, broadly, the Russian civilization, were presented at the plenary session. The presented points of view allow us to take a fresh look at what's happening in the country and in the world in times of COVID-19 challenges.

Many evolutionary theorists have enthusiastically embraced human nature, but large numbers of evolutionists have also rejected it. It is also important to recognize the nuanced views on human nature that come from the side of the social sciences. This introduction provides an overview of the current state of the human nature debate, from the anti-essentialist consensus to the possibility of a Gray’s Anatomy of human psychology. Three potential functions for the notion of species nature are identified. The first is diagnostic, assigning an organism to the correct species. The second is species-comparative, allowing us to compare and contrast different species. The third function is contrastive, establishing human nature as a foil for human culture. The Introduction concludes with a brief synopsis of each chapter.

The recent ‘nonhuman turn’ in the theoretical humanities and social sciences has highlighted the need to develop more ontological modes of theorising the ethical ‘responsibility’ of the human in its relational encounters with nonhuman bodies and materialities. However, there is a lingering sense in this literature that such an ethics remains centred on a transcendent subject that would pre-exist the encounters on which it is called to respond. In this essay, I explore how Gilles Deleuze's philosophy offers potential opening for a more ontogenetic thinking of a ‘nonhuman ethics’. Specifically, I focus on how his theory of ‘individuation’ – conceived as a creative event of emergence in response to immanent ontological problems – informs his rethinking of ethics beyond the subject, opening thought to nonhuman forces and relations. I argue that if cinema becomes a focus of Deleuze's ethical discussions in his later work it is because the images and signs it produces are expressive of these nonhuman forces and processes of individuation, generating modes of perception and duration without ontological mooring in the human subject. Through a discussion of Verena Paravel and Lucien Castaing-Taylor's experimental film –  Leviathan (2012)  – I explore how the cinematic encounter dramatises different ethical worlds in which a multiplicity of nonhuman ‘points of view’ coexist without being reduced to a hierarchical or orienting centre that would unify and identify them. To conclude, I suggest that it is through the lens of an ethics of individuation that we can grasp the different sense of ‘responsibility’ alive in Deleuze's philosophy, one oriented not to the terms of the already-existing but rather to the nonhuman potential of what might yet come into being.

The article deals with the historical aspect of the requirements to the indictment in the Russian legal proceedings in the 19th century, analyzes the points of view of leading scientists in modern realities, draws Parallels of continuity and determines the patterns in the development of the criminal process. The article also analyzes the current state of the return of criminal cases by courts at the regional level on the grounds of violations of criminal procedure legislation in the preparation of indictments.

The article discusses different points of view and the essence of the economic category of «consumer credit». Analytical assessment of the current state and bank lending to individuals in Ukraine is carried out. Analysis of development of bank crediting of individuals has revealed that from 2005 to 2016 and for two months in 2017 consumer crediting in Ukraine has been developing unevenly. A comparative analysis of the dynamics of loans granted by banking institutions to residents, juridical and physical persons is carried out. The current state of bank crediting of individuals is characterized by a gradual decrease of volumes and a rapid reduction in the proportion in total bank lending. The main problems regarding the granting credits to individuals by banking institutions are revealed. High level of interest rates on loans to individuals, reduction of real incomes and risky credit policy of banks are the main obstacles of development of the bank consumer crediting. Recommendations for ensuring and increase of the efficiency of bank consumer crediting have been developed.

This chapter analyzes some case studies about social media in organizations’ administration. To do this, social media’s epistemological base will be introduced, considering contributions from the subject of organizational behavior. The importance of this discipline is that it brings together social sciences points of view (social psychology, sociology and anthropology). After this, views will be presented regarding the mathematical nature of social media. In this part, the internet’s influence on social media will also be discussed, for it has contributed to a new common sense, and it is responsible for social media popularity. Finally, how social media interferes in organizations will be attested to, as well as how it can be managed. In order to help the understanding of such knowledge, a survey will be introduced, with articles related to organizational practices in social media.

This theoretical review examines selected literature concerning charismatic leadership theory. It starts with an introduction of Max Weber’s (1947) groundbreaking application of the term “charisma” in the field of Social Sciences. Subsequently, it presents a research table, chronologically organized reflecting significant articles that highlight traits and historical developments of the charismatic leadership theory. Next, beginning with Weber’s (1947) seminal article, this literature review discusses how the construct of charismatic leadership has advanced over the years. The examination largely concludes with a discussion of the current state of charismatic leadership, and a call for future studies to address charismatic rhetoric research in doctor of education programs.
