Corporate Education in Universities in India

Universities in India were started primarily as examination conducting bodies. It took a few years when academic programmes were initiated. The objective of university education especially in colleges was to train administrative personnel for government departments while there were academic departments in universities that concentrated on pure academic research. Gradually the universities became knowledge centres imparting quality education for all those who desired to enhance their knowledge in desired fields or take up employment in industries. In recent years, the requirement of university education was not just knowledge acquisition but employment oriented. Separation of the professional courses like engineering, medicine, law pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and management studies was a step towards job oriented education. The need to introduce job oriented courses in humanities and sciences became imminent as the number of job seekers increased several folds as years passed by.

In the era of big data, how to obtain useful knowledge from online news and utilize it as an important basis to make investment decision has become the hotspot of industrial and academic research. At present, there have been research and practice on explicit knowledge acquisition from news, but tacit knowledge acquisition is still under exploration. Based on the general mechanism of domain knowledge, knowledge reasoning, and knowledge discovery, this paper constructs a framework for discovering tacit knowledge from news and applying the knowledge to stock forecasting. The concrete work is as follows: First, according to the characteristics of financial field and the conceptual cube, the conceptual structure of industry–company–product is constructed, and the framework of domain ontology is put forward. Second, with the construction of financial field ontology, the financial news knowledge management framework is proposed. Besides, with the application of attributes in ontology and domain rules extracted from news text, the knowledge reasoning mechanism of financial news is constructed to achieve financial news knowledge discovery. Finally, news knowledge that reflects important information about stock changes is integrated into the traditional stock price forecasting model and the newly proposed model performs well in the empirical analysis of polyester industry.

It is seen that coding education and robotic applications are integrated or being integrated into education system for students at early ages all around the world. Aim of this study is to reveal the importance of coding education and robotic applications for achieving 21st century skills in North Cyprus. This study is a descriptive study based on literature review. The obtained data were evaluated by the researcher to reveal the current case with a descriptive approach. It is really important for students to receive education on coding and robotics applications in order to be able to acquire 21st century skills, develop, produce and achieve “Informatics Island” vision of North Cyprus. In this research, it is seen that importance given to coding education and robotic applications in North Cyprus is insufficient. It is also revealed that there are effective robotic studies as a result of institutional efforts by universities. However, there is no attempt to integrate coding education into primary, secondary and university education programs and there is a little number of academic research related with coding education and robotic applications. It is expected that this study will be a guide for academicians who would like to conduct research in this field, provide information about the present condition and set an example.

However, since inclusive practices can be applied in the form of homogeneous ones, since they can promote the differentiation of differences, we can propose the development of the learning of all.
