AbstractIs everything about reality either qualitative or somehow determined by the qualitative character of reality itself? Metaphysical anti-Haecceitism is often taken to be the claim that this is the case, and to entail that reality is fundamentally qualitative. In this paper, I (1) argue against the idea that metaphysical anti-Haecceitism should be characterized in such terms, and (2) defend a novel way to phrase such a view. This will be done by taking the main arguments for anti-Haecceitism as a guide and by singling out the proper commitments of a view that satisfies the desideratum set forth by such arguments. The phrasing I shall offer will help tell the issue of anti-Haecceitism apart from some concerns about fundamentality that, I will contend, are orthogonal to it—among them, the question whether there is fundamentality at all.

AbstractI can imagine a banana to be a phone receiver. I can also imagine the flapping of my arms to be flying. So it is possible to imagine one thing to be another—at least for some types of ‘things’. I will argue that although it is possible to imagine an object to be another object and it is also possible to imagine an activity to be a different activity, one cannot imagine one’s present sensory experience to be a different sensory experience with different qualitative character. This claim will have some important consequences beyond the philosophy of imagination, for example, for some accounts of depiction.

Although the importance of Pharmaceutical Assistance, there is no global instrument that specifically justifies its necessity on the specificity of indigenous health. This article lists existing studies on pharmaceutical assistance in an indigenous context. It has a qualitative character, conducted through an integrative literature review. National and international databases were consulted for the scientific articles searching, using specific descriptions of the object of interest. Three thousand nine hundred fifteen articles were found in the databases searched, related to the object of interest, in this case, Indigenous Pharmaceutical Assistance. Many studies did not have any relation with the object of interest, and most of them aimed to understand, from the conventional biomedical perspective, the mechanisms of the therapeutic resources of the indigenous people in the world, as well as to investigate scientifically plant and animal materials used in the indigenous traditional medicine, by using known conventional methodologies. A range of studies has addressed specifically illnesses through case studies, in which the focus is the evolution of the disease or western therapy were applied to the indigenous subject, in a research form that tries to indicate different clinical responses to the treatment and the outcome of the pathology. Researches involving planning, implementation, development, and evaluation of Indigenous Pharmaceutical Assistance are crucial for the future development of global policies for these people.

Up to the present time there is no convenient and exact division of syphilis seizures into certain groups, which would make it possible to understand the essence of this or that suffering of the organism on the basis of this disease: Biett, e.g., divides all syphilis on the basis of their morphological features, Risord - on the basis of the time of their appearance, Virchow, Brensprung, Bazin, Leloir, Zeissl and others mainly take into account the qualitative character of pathological and anatomical changes and on the basis of them offer a number of classifications of syphilis. However, all these classifications often fail to give a full and clear explanation of the observed syphilitic forms.

AbstractThe logic of the research that was developed exchanges with the experiences within the space of coexistence in the art classes with processes of creation, artistic / educational intervention developed in the State School Raimunda Virgolino, Macapá / AP / Brazil. It is a collective work that involved high school students, art teachers and amapaenses artists. It sought to understand the links of the processes of creation in art through actions in performances of students and teachers. The study has a qualitative character because it understands the relations between individuals, and therefore of ethnographic intention, inspired by the a / r / tographic methodology. This methodological process generates knowledge between the activity of the teacher / artist who investigates and constructs meanings about his practice based on artistic and educational experiences. A material was produced which began to reveal the process of creation immersed in research: an artist’s book containing four interactive talks, a CD of the movie “Poetic Travels” and images of the processes that pour into coffee tables, meeting with theorists and with the cities that are going through these research conversations. The unfinished ends and ends of the research consist of horizontal approximation and dialogues between the students and their teacher, diluting boundaries between knowledge and actions knowledge in art education, appropriation of artistic and aesthetic perceptions around life within of the school environment.

Objective of the study: The value of design needs to be constantly reaffirmed due to its nature with eminently qualitative elements – unlike innovation, which has a quantitative origin. This article aims to explore the relationship between design and innovation and their common points.Methodology/approach: The study has a qualitative character, with an exploratory and descriptive investigation, based on a surveying of the main terms and concepts about design an innovation, both printed and digital publications.Originality/Relevance: From the main points of conceptual convergence, the text proposes an approximation between innovation and design based on a model consisting of the following criteria: application context; structure and organization of the company to generate innovation; dimensions that drive innovation; degree of novelty; and results generated.Main results: With the proposed model for the characterization of the design innovation process, the research concluded that, although historically they appeared at different times, design and innovation are complementary disciplines with contiguous objectives.Theoretical/methodological contributions: This work not only contributes to the discussion about a closer approximation between the two areas, indicating mutual benefits, but it also demonstrates that the proposed model can favor the understanding of the value of design.Social/management contributions: The model described in this article can help innovation agents, companies and all stakeholders who aimed to restructure existing products or design new products based on innovation criteria.

"This theoretical study, of a qualitative character, proposes to investigate what the relationship between identification and symbolization is in adolescent depression today. The importance of discussing the theme is as a direct result of the alarming observation that, as an illness of epidemic proportions, it does not refer to a natural illness, whose origin is restricted to the individual level, but mainly refers to structural determinations present in society. In this sense, this work addresses the problem of understanding which identification and symbolization processes are present in a culture that has transformed depression among adolescents into a social symptom. In order to develop this, it expresses the main determinations that are present at puberty, discussing the processes of primary and secondary narcissism, the nature of identifications, mechanisms of the capitalist culture of consumption and its relationship with the processes of subjectivation, reflecting on the possibilities and obstacles of the social bond to offer and / or allow symbolization of anxieties and humanizing psychical work."

I aim to defend the thesis that the truth of any proposition about the number of particulars that exist in the world is supervenient upon the truth of all propositions exclusively about universals (i.e., properties and relations). If this thesis is correct, all facts about the individuation of particulars are reducible to facts exclusively about universals, and there is no primitive individuation of particulars. I present two arguments against the possibility of this kind of primitive individuation. The first is that the possibility of primitively individuated particulars raises radical skeptical doubts about the number of particulars with which we are acquainted. The second is that primitively individuated particulars are theoretically redundant since the qualitative character of any possible world can be exhaustively described if we talk only about universals. The classical bundle theory is the most common variety of reductionism about the number of particulars, but I also want to defend that it is not the only possible variety. More specifically, I present an alternative according to which particulars are individuated by spatial relations. This alternative, in contrast to bundle theory, does not commit us to the controversial principle of the identity of indiscernibles, but it implies a transcendent conception of universals.
