In the paper a new method is presented to simulate the course of light output from organic light emitting device. The method uses optical transmission matrix to deal with multiple layers. To confirm the validity of our theories, a comparison of the theoretic analysis with testing results is given. The calculated curve consistented with the experimental value. By this methoed the Commission Internationale de L'Eclairage (CIE) coordinates of device were simulated. By adjusting the thickness of each layer in organic light emission diode (OLED) we obtained different CIE coordinates. When thickness becomes thicker the CIEX becomes bigger on the other hand CIEY become smaller.

In the paper a new OLED is provided. By adjusting the thickness of each layer in OLED the peak spectral wavelength moves to red. To explain the phenomenon a new simulation is presented to research the relation between thickness of the layer and their CIE coordinates. We use optical transmission matrix to deal with multiple layers. As a result, we obtain the relationships between the CIE coordinates of the device and the thickness of each layerIn this paper, we provide such a theoretic analysis.

Recent needs of semiconductor lighting sources have pursued diverse functionalities such as flexibility and transparency under high quantum efficiency. Inorganic/organic hybrid light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are one way to meet these requirements. Here, we report on flexible III-nitride-based LEDs and the improvement of their electrical and optical properties. To realize high light emission power and stable current operation, high-quality epitaxy and elaborate chip processing were performed. The fabricated flexible LEDs showed over threefold optical output power compared to normal LEDs on Si and had comparable forward voltage and series resistances.

Simple method of determining emission light color in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) with two emissive materials from their electroluminescent (EL) spectra has been presented. The Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage (CIE) coordinates and two EL intensity rates of OLEDs can be simulated with this method. White light OLEDs were fabricated with a blue light emission from 4,4'-bis[N-1-napthyl-N-phenyl-amino]biphenyl (NPB) and a yellow light emission from bis[2-(4-tert-butylphenyl)benzothiazolato-N,C2’]iridium (acetylacetonate) [(t-bt)2Ir(acac)], and the device shows the CIE coordinates of (0.34, 0.32) at 10 V bias, which located in white light region.
