This paper focus on a motion control card based on DSP, designed an interface communication between DSP and industrial PC. After a contrast about several methods of communication, this interface take the Dual-port RAM as the final way. This communication method regard the DRAM as the sharing storage unit, use the semaphores of the DRAM chip to prevent visiting the same address at same time on boths port and achieve the high speed communication between DSP and PC104.

The general NC (Numerical Control) system of quasi flexible production Line is researched based on motion control card operated by the DSP (Digital Signal Processor) and industrial PC (Personal Computer) running on system platform of Windows. The hardware platform of general NC system of quasi flexible production Line is built with industrial PC and motion control card, and the industrial PC is the upper computer. The software platform of general NC system of quasi flexible production line is compiler environment of Visual C++. Using programming technique of object-oriented and modularized, the network communication of data exchange for coordination and scheduling module in general NC system of quasi flexible production Line is built based on multi-threaded technology.

Abstract. PC-based open CNC system can fully take advantage of the computer's hardware and software resources, which can use a common high-level language: Visual C++ or Visual Basic to program. User can mix and use the standardized peripherals, application software flexibly, we use the self-developed five-axis CNC machine is experimental platform, which can develop open CNC system based on PC and motion control card. Using of five-axis machine motion control design based on "PC + motion control card" on Visual C++ platform.

The article introduces the design scheme of a motion control card on PXI bus. A detailed description of PCI interface module, FPGA module, DSP module, serial transceiver module and analog acquisition module is also given in this paper. Tests of data transfer rate between host and motion control card are adopted, the results suggest that the PXI local bus can get a high-rate communication. The motion control card is applied to control the two-dimensional turntable of an optoelectronic imaging and tracking system. The experiments indicate that the motion control card based on PXI can meet the requirements of real-time control. The performance of control is also acceptable.

A hardware implement scheme is proposed based on digital signal processor, and the complex programmable logic device and industry standard architecture bus is proposed. The dual-port random access memory communication circuit, I/O port address decoding circuit, two axis control output circuit and position detecting circuit are developed, the main program and interrupt-serving program of digital signal processor are designed by the idea of modularization. The static accuray of the motion control card is tested via special experimental device. The present analysis show that the designed circuit is effective and the static control precision of motion control card is satisfied.
