Coal mine drainage, exhaust air and bathing wastewater, etc. contain a large amount of waste heat resource. Using the waste heat effectively is beneficial to achieve energy conservation and emissions reduction and improve economic benefit for coal mine. Heat pump and heat pipe are thermal devices recycling waste heat effectively. The ways and purpose of recycling waste heat in coal mine by using water-source heat pump, air-source heat pump and heat pipe exchanger is given. The performance of heat pump and heat pipe is briefly evaluated.

This paper analyses the energy consumption of water source heat pump, shows that the performance coefficient of water source heat pump unit is directly related to the temperature of water resources, and discusses the feasibility of central heating by recovering condensing heat of power plant using water source heat pump unit. It analyzes the energy saving benefit of water source heat pump unit is significant compared with traditional heating. Using the technology recovers waste heat of power plant, which can not only decrease the energy waste on the direct discharge of waste heat and water, but at the same time, it is a new air conditioning system without environmental pollution.

The thermal power unit is the major unit in Chinas power supply. Circulating water has large low-temperature waste-heat which can be recycled. The principles of water source heat pump technology is analyzed, characteristic of circulating water system in thermal power unit is studied. Then two kinds of connection methods between circulating water system and water source heat pump (WSHP) are presented.

A large number of cooling water exists in chemical plant, use water source heat pump and lithium bromide absorption heat pump system to achieve water cooling instead of cooling tower, at the same time, extract heat for building cooling and heating. Respectively introduced the summer cooling system and winter heating system, and a feasibility analysis was carried out. The conclusion is get: water source heat pump system and lithium bromide absorption heat pump system for cooling water waste heat recovery is certain feasibility; the environment optimization can be achieved in chemical plant, at the same time, energy conservation and emission reduction is realized.

Using water-source heat pump for recovering waste heat of thermal power plant circulating water, mining of low grade heat energy. It can improve the power efficiency of comprehensive energy, but also can reduce the evaporation cooling water, the heat and moisture discharge to the environment. It has the economic, social and environmental benefits are very remarkable. Through the analysis of 600MW thermal power unit circulating water waste heat and calculation of water source heat pump heating, the feasibility of the water source heat pump technology in the recovery of power plant circulating water waste heat can be obtained.

There are some problems in the thermal system of Huabei Oilfield, such as high energy consumption, high operation cost and poor production safety. With more stringent requirements for energy conservation and emission reduction, it is particularly important to replace fuel oil projects and improve the efficiency of heating system.The utilization of waste heat and waste heat resources in Huabei Oilfield and the application conditions of various heat pump technologies were investigated, according to the characteristics of large amount of sewage and high temperature produced by crude oil dehydration in Huabei Oilfield. Aiming at the characteristics of large amount of sewage and high temperature produced by crude oil dehydration in Huabei Oilfield, Pilot Application of Optimized Extracted Water Source Heat Pump Technology, the research results are applied to the the He Yi Station in the third oil production plant, estimating the scale and benefit of saving, finally, the purpose of reducing cost and increasing efficiency is achieved, and the data basis and technical guidance for energy saving renovation of thermal system in the future are improved.
