The management of user permissions is one of the basic functions of a database system.Firstly, the common database system user access control methods and their characteristics are explored;Secondly,a general role permission management method based on menu items is proposed, then the design of the tables, the design and implementation of the menu item visiting class, and the design and implementation of a window using a tree-view to set role permissions were given; Finally, introduced the application of this method in database systems with an open computer-room management system.

An efficient object manager, a middle layer on top of a storage system, is essential to ensure acceptable performance of object-oriented database systems, since a traditional record-based storage system is too simple to provide object abstraction. In this chapter, we design and implement an extensible object storage system, called Soprano, in an object-oriented fashion which has shown great potential in extensibility and code reusability. Soprano provides a uniform object abstraction and gives us the convenience of persistent programming through many useful persistent classes. Also, Soprano supports efficient object management and pointer swizzling for fast object access. This chapter investigates several aspects of the design and implementation of the extensible object storage system. Our experience shows the feasibility of using an object-oriented design and implementation in building an object storage system that should have both extensibility and high performance.

Considering ship through lock in river management problems, radio frequency identification was introduced into track work in ship running process for ship through lock, proposed a ship through lock management system design way in river based RFID. Thus visualized and digitalized management of ship through lock were realized. Analysis the focus of the system that basic components and function were characterized by its favorable openness and extensibility, the last of the analysis ship through lock fully automated management method on the basis of internet in river. This method has finished ship through lock procedure in river to not stop bank, serves convenience shortcut, has broad prospects.

Nowadays, a variety of database systems coexist and the application softwares access and operation for database is often custom-written, which can lead to more complicated cross-database access. Through analysis of the operational process of the database middleware, adding the generic database query middleware eQueryMW which can shield the difference of the data source to the traditional three-tier architecture as the middleware level can realize the access of relational heterogeneity database, providing a unified database query interface and cross-database integration method for the users.

This review explores a large series of observations from clinical and experimental studies on the interactions between migraine and the extrapyramidal system (EPS). A critical appraisal of these data suggests that the EPS is somehow involved in migraine. However, primary involvement of the EPS in the pathophysiology of migraine, as hinted at by the apparent concomitance of migraine, extrapyramidal symptoms and diseases, as well as by the common involvement of neurotransmitters and pathways, cannot as yet be proven. On the other hand, the involvement of EPS in migraine may reflect its more general role in the processing of nociceptive information and/or may be part of the complex behavioural adaptive response that characterizes migraine.

Public Health England was alerted to a national outbreak of Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli O157 PT34 in July 2016. Early investigations suggested that the likely source was a salad item consumed outside of the home. A number of cases reported consuming meals at a staff canteen (Venue A) and a garden café (Venue B). Both venues shared a common salad supplier. An investigation was undertaken to measure associations between salad items and illness using an 'ingredient-based analysis'. A retrospective case–control study was conducted using an online questionnaire to collect information on menu items consumed at each venue. Chefs at both venues were interviewed to identify ingredients contained within each menu item. Both venues were pooled together for multivariable analysis measuring associations at the ingredient level. Among 203 responses, 24 cases were identified (13 confirmed, two probable and nine possible). Case onsets ranged between 7 and 25 June 2016. Multivariable analysis identified strong evidence that only baby mixed-leaf salad from the common supplier was a vehicle of infection (adjusted odds ratio = 13.1; 95% confidence interval: 1.6–106.5). Identifying the specific salad ingredient associated with illness was made possible by using an ingredient-based analysis. We recommend the increased use of ingredient-based analyses.
