Nowadays, a variety of database systems coexist and the application softwares access and operation for database is often custom-written, which can lead to more complicated cross-database access. Through analysis of the operational process of the database middleware, adding the generic database query middleware eQueryMW which can shield the difference of the data source to the traditional three-tier architecture as the middleware level can realize the access of relational heterogeneity database, providing a unified database query interface and cross-database integration method for the users.

The methods of multi-modal English event detection under a single data source and isomorphic event detection of different English data sources based on transfer learning still need to be improved. In order to improve the efficiency of English and data source time detection, based on the transfer learning algorithm, this paper proposes multi-modal event detection under a single data source and isomorphic event detection based on transfer learning for different data sources. Moreover, by stacking multiple classification models, this paper makes each feature merge with each other, and conducts confrontation training through the difference between the two classifiers to further make the distribution of different source data similar. In addition, in order to verify the algorithm proposed in this paper, a multi-source English event detection data set is collected through a data collection method. Finally, this paper uses the data set to verify the method proposed in this paper and compare it with the current most mainstream transfer learning methods. Through experimental analysis, convergence analysis, visual analysis and parameter evaluation, the effectiveness of the algorithm proposed in this paper is demonstrated.

This study discusses the reception of readers of the mega best-seller novel entitled Mariposa by Luluk HF. The purpose of this study is to (1) describe the reader's responses, (2) describe the horizon of readers' expectations, and (3) describe the factors that cause differences in responses and the horizon of expectations of readers of Mariposa's novel. The method applied is descriptive qualitative. This study uses a reception aesthetic approach that seeks to find consistent reception patterns as a reflection of the way the reader responds to the text. The research data consisted of texts containing the responses of twenty respondents from the data source in the form of the Goodreads reader site. The research results obtained are as follows. First, not all readers respond positively to the intrinsic elements of the novel, especially the characterization of the female protagonist who is considered to show aggressive behavior with a love motive. Second, most of the horizons of readers' expectations do not match the reality in Mariposa. Readings are generally motivated by curiosity because of the hyperbolic labeling of the novel, recommendations from friends, and the discourse of filming the novel. Third, the factors that cause the difference or suitability of the horizon of readers' expectations for the Mariposa novel are knowledge of literature, knowledge of life, and experience of reading literary works.

Kata Kunci : teknik Kompres Air hangat, Teknik Massage, Nyeri Persalinan Daftar Pustaka : 10 buku + 5 jurnal (2013 - 2018)ABSTRACTThis research used experimental research with pretest and posttest design with 44 respondents, 22 respondents were treated by warm water compress technique and 22 others are treated by massage technique. The samples were taken by using purpossive sampling technique, the research instrument used were observation sheet as primary data source and the data analysis used paired sample t-test. The resyult of this research showed that the warm water compress technique group reduce the labor pain as much as 5,05 and massage technique group reduce the labor pain as much as 4,50. The conclusion of research result showed that there is difference between warm water compress technique and massage technique to reduce labor pain during active phase 1. It is suggested to midwiferies and nurses to fulfil mothers’ need to feel comfortable and reduce labor pain by applying massage technique. Keywords: Warm Water Compress Technique, Massage Technique, Labor Pain References: 10 books + 5 Journals (2013 – 2018)

This chapter describes the method to retrieve data from multiple heterogeneous distributed relational database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, MS Access, etc. into Oracle RDBMS using Oracle's Heterogeneous Gateway Services. The complete process starting from downloading and installation of required software, creation of data source names using open database connectivity, modification of system parameter files, checking connections, creation of synonyms for tables of remote databases into oracle, creation of database links and accessing data from non-oracle databases using database links is explained in great detail. Apart from this, data manipulation in remote databases from Oracle and execution of PL/SQL procedures to manipulate data residing on remote databases is discussed with examples. Troubleshooting common errors during this process is also discussed.

An efficient object manager, a middle layer on top of a storage system, is essential to ensure acceptable performance of object-oriented database systems, since a traditional record-based storage system is too simple to provide object abstraction. In this chapter, we design and implement an extensible object storage system, called Soprano, in an object-oriented fashion which has shown great potential in extensibility and code reusability. Soprano provides a uniform object abstraction and gives us the convenience of persistent programming through many useful persistent classes. Also, Soprano supports efficient object management and pointer swizzling for fast object access. This chapter investigates several aspects of the design and implementation of the extensible object storage system. Our experience shows the feasibility of using an object-oriented design and implementation in building an object storage system that should have both extensibility and high performance.
