Based on the features of vanadium extracting waste in PanGang, technology ideas are proposed as following: vanadium extracting waste ash is used as coolant in converter, vanadium extracting and vanadium extracting residue is used as slagging material in steelmaking. Influence of slagging material on oxidability of molten steel in converter is analyzed, such as iron and steel consumption, effect of dephosphorization, influence of coolant on semisteel quality after extracting vanadium, and quality of vanadium slag. New way to utilize the waste is developed. Recycling the vanadium extracting waste in PanGang, mitigate the environmental pressure.

An inner-outer coupled cooling technology of molten steel for 1240×200mm slab continuous casting, that is to set an inner cooler—U shape pipes in the mold, is put forward in order to enhance the efficiency of transmitting heat and improve inner structure of billet. The flow status and solidification status of molten steel under coupling flow field and temperature field in inner-outer coupled cooling mold are simulated by using fluid dynamics software, and compare with those in traditional mold. It is found that setting inner cooler in the mold can make molten steel flow status even, which is favorable to floating up of the inclusion, quickening the solidification of steel liquid and improving the quality of billet.

In this report, the trends in refractories technologies for iron and steel production at Nippon Steel Corporation in the last few decades are outlined. Amid dramatic changes in crude steel production accompanying increased ratios in higher quality of steel and sophisticated refining methods, in in our refractory ceramics R&D Div., actual machines have been realized by practicing developed outcomes with technologies for every production process relating to: refractory material quality, furnace building or execution, reparation, diagnosis, demolition, and recycling. Thus, continuing reduction in the unit consumption of refractories has been steadily performed. Additionally, technical issues are reduced to further enhance and maintain our international competitiveness in refractories technologies.

Because of the heating limitation of old pavement and the restriction of climate, the quality of hot in-place recycled pavement was different to control. The warm m,ix asphalt technology was introduced to improve the heterogeneity and compactness of the hot in-place recycled pavement and decrease its construction temperature. The compaction characteristics of warm in-place recycled asphalt mixture were analyzed and its molding temperature was determined through the Marshall test. The pavement performance of warm in-place recycled asphalt mixture was analyzed whose results indicated that the introduction of warm mix asphalt technology was able to improve the compactness, the high temperature stability and water stability of hot in-place recycled asphalt mixture and reduce the influence of environment over its construction quality. A warm in-place recycled engineering of Shian expressway was introduced to verify the feasibility of warm in-place recycling technology which demonstrated that the warm in-place recycling technology was able to improve the heterogeneity and compaction quality of the recycled pavement and weaken the environmental pollution.

This study aims to determine the effect of environmental pressure, consumer pressure, shareholder pressure, employee pressure, government pressure and creditor pressure on the quality of sustainability reports. The control variables of this study are profitability and company size. The sampling technique used is a purposive sampling method with the number of samples obtained as many as 69 non-financial sector companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2016-2018. A multiple linear regression method was used. The results of this study indicate that environmental pressure and consumer pressure have a positive effect on the quality of sustainability reports, while shareholder pressure, employee pressure, government pressure and creditor pressure do not affect the quality of sustainability reports. Profitability and company size as control variables in this study do not affect the quality of sustainability reports. The analysis of results of practical application of cast replaceable details of hinged tillage agricultural machinery at operation in a number of the agricultural enterprises of the Poltava region at processing of more than 60 thousand hectares within several years is presented. Comparative data of the resource of parts made of high-strength bainitic cast iron and steel serial analogues of domestic and foreign production are given. The advantages of the method of manufacturing by casting methods in comparison with the traditional method of manufacturing by stamping. This technology allows you to easily make adjustments to the design of the cultivator legs, thus providing a new quality of tillage and pruning of the root system of weeds, which eliminates the need for herbicides. The basis of this technology is the use of composite complex modifiers made by rolling powder mixtures of plastic and brittle components with the necessary observance of the proportions of their ratio. The use of powder rolled modifiers provides the necessary properties and structure of the cast metal required for further heat treatment. It is substantiated to obtain high wear resistance of cast products due to the appearance of TRIP-effect and constant updating of wear-resistant surface layer during operation.

The paper studies issues of improvement of the automatic gauge control system (AGCS) in the continuous hot-strip train. The factors influencing longitudinal strip gauge deviations have been classified. It has been proved that Davy McKee AGCS installed at the 2,000 mill of OJSC Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (OAO MMK) does not provide control accuracy factors required at the light gauge strip rolling. The paper considers the functional chart of the improved AGCS realizing algorithm of the dynamic gauge correction. Experimental studies confirm that the developed chart helps to decrease longitudinal strip gauge deviations and, hence – to improve the quality of the products.
