Research on Control System of Energy-Saving Greenhouse

Energy-saving and environmental protection has become the theme of the 21st century. Greenhouse is an energy-intensive industries. Every year, 35% of energy consumption on agricultural production is used for greenhouse heating in the world, which accounts for 15-40% of the cost of greenhouse production. For improving energy efficiency and protecting the environment, the reasonable control of greenhouse environmental parameters is significant. The design of solar greenhouse real-time environment monitoring and automatic control system is based on 8051 single-chip in the thesis. The temperature and humidity signal are obtained from DS18B20 digital temperature sensor and IH3605 humidity sensor. When the greenhouse temperature exceeds the set temperature, the device can be started by perform timely processing, then the user can read LED digital display temperature and humidity values.

Watering plants usually done manually using human power. that has risk negligence and inaccuracy. also, in time and cost is not efficient. Another factor that can affect the quality of crops is a factor of humidity and temperature. For those reason, writers made a tool that can work according to the level of humidity and temperature automatically and continuously. This tool uses Zelio Smart Relay as automatic controller. The 808H5V5 humidity sensor and LM35 temperature sensor is used as input. The LM35 temperature sensor detect the ambient temperature, where as 808H5V5 humidity sensor detect ambient air humidity, and time of watering adapted to the Smart Relay timer. The entire sensor input is programmed using ZELIO SOFT 2. Setting the temperature and humidity when the detected 30oC and >70% as well as the timeshows at 08.30 – 09.00 am and 16.00 – 16.30 pm the pump will automatically ON.

An intelligent distribution digital terminal pulse acquisition control system, based on C8051F021 chips as control core, is designed in this paper. The pulse acquisition circuit, RS485 communication circuit and other important parts are the control objects in this system. The system demonstrates the designing methods of hardware and software architecture by adopting the advantages of single-chip microcomputer combining hardware with software, thereby realizing multiple functions of the pulse acquisition system. This method provides a new idea to enhance the cost performance of pulse acquisition of intelligent distribution digital terminal.

The temperature control is one of the most common control system,with the development of the sensing technology, new single-bus digital temperature sensor to achieve faster development of the test and control of the temperature. The system is a temperature sensor AD590 to acquisition analog signals, after ADC0809 converted into digital signals to 89C51 single chip processing, so as to achieve the collection of temperature, and then through the CD4511 drive seven sections LED display. The system can control of temperature, through the keyboard for temperature of add or subtract Settings, if detection temperature is more than set temperature, stop heating, if detection temperature is below the set temperature, start heating. The system of design and wiring are simple,easy extension, cost-effective, volume is small, compact structure,strong anti-interference ability.


Currently, energy saving has become one of crisis that needs to be addressed by the entire world as it is known that energy saved is energy produced. Especially, power consumption at home plays a major role in energy saving. At times, the light is on when people forget to switch off the light while leaving the room. This may lead to waste of energy and economy issues. Thus, it is the need of the hour to propose automatic light control system that turns on and off automatically based on the human presence in the room. Sensors are used to detect the human presence in the room which automatically controls the light. Also, the proposed system alerts the user through mail when the room temperature is increased beyond certain level through temperature and humidity sensors.

Based on STM32 MCU and HC-05 module, a wireless temperature and humidity detection system is designed. In this system, STM32 is taken as the control core, the digital temperature and humidity sensor AM2303 with low power consumption and fast response is used to collect temperature and humidity signals, and bluetooth technology is used to transmit the detected environmental information, thus completing the remote communication with the upper computer. The problem of complicated wiring of traditional wired monitoring system is solved. Through Bluetooth module, the communication between STM32 single chip microcomputer and host computer can realize the real-time detection of environmental temperature and humidity. When there is danger in the room, the mobile phone or work computer can receive warning signals in time. The experimental results show that the system has the advantages of good real-time, high data transmission reliability and good intelligence, Meanwhile, the cable is saved and the cost is reduced.

With the wide application of temperature and humidity detection system, the requirements and standards of which in different industries and fields are various. After the analysis of domestic and foreign warehouse intelligent temperature and humidity control, the author has found a series of factors of that, and then puts forward a design of scheme of temperature and humidity detection system based on AT89S51, together with a plurality of digital temperature sensor DS18B20 and the humidity sensor HS1101, temperature and humidity detection system is formed.

For the control of greenhouse environment parameters, a combined control system of the temperature and humidity inside the greenhouse according to the fuzzy control theory is design, which is of distributed control structure. The whole control system is divided into upper computer (personal computer) and the lower machine (SCM). Upper machine and lower machine adopt the Modbus fieldbus to communicate, which can effectively improve the efficiency of communication, to ensure accurate communication. Tracking control of temperature and humidity in the control system uses fuzzy control technology, which can effectively summarize and utilize human control experience, and regulate the environmental parameters according to need of crop growth automatically. Finally, through experiment, it is proved that the control system has achieved the anticipated target.
