Due to the poor conditions of wet brake cooling and the high temperature of the working characteristics, this paper intended to introduce the oil film vadose between the brake linings, considered the variation of volume of grooves on the friction plate, and then proposes the three-dimensional transient dynamic response of fluid-solid coupling mathematical model. By numerical analysis of the disc transient thermal stress field distribution on the friction plate, the friction surface temperature field variation is obtained. Finally, the results shows that the mathematical model is effective and feasible.

A mathematical model to investigate the dynamic response of a piezoelectric plate-strip with initial stress under the action of a time-harmonic force resting on a rigid foundation is presented within the scope of the three-dimensional linearized theory of electro-elasticity waves in initially stressed bodies (TLTEEWISB). The governing system of equations of motion is solved by employing the Finite Element Method (FEM). The numerical results illustrating the dependencies of different problem parameters are investigated. In particular, the influence of a change in the value of the initial stress parameter on the dynamic response of the plate-strip is discussed.

This study aims to investigate the forced vibrations caused by a time-harmonic force from a pre-stressed bi-layered plate resting on a rigid foundation under the action of a time-harmonic pointwise loading. Our investigation was conducted according to a piecewise homogeneous body model utilizing the three-dimensional linearized theory of elastic waves in initially stressed bodies. Throughout this study, we assumed that there is complete contact between the plate and the rigid foundation. The purpose of this study is threefold: the development of a mathematical model to investigate the dynamic response of the pre-stressed bi-layered plate, the analysis of the frequency response of the plate under consideration, and finally, demonstrating the relationship between the initial stress and the dimensionless frequency of the plate. We solved the mathematical model by employing the finite element method. We present our numerical results on the dynamic behavior of the plate. In particular, we have shown that an increase in the values of the aspect ratio of a plate under fixed thickness leads to a decrease in the normal stress resonance values.

This article presents an enhanced mathematical model for transient thermal analysis in machining processes. The proposed mathematical model is able to simulate transient tool, workpiece, and chip temperature fields as a function of time for interrupted processes with time varying chip loads such as milling and continuous machining processes such as turning and drilling. A finite difference technique with implicit time discretization is used for the solution of partial differential equations to simulate the temperature fields on the tool, workpiece, and chip. The model validations are performed with the experimental temperature measurement data available in the literature for the interrupted turning of Ti6Al6V–2Sn, Al2024, gray cast iron and for the milling of Ti6Al4V. The simulation results and experimental measurements agree well. With the newly introduced modeling approach, it is demonstrated that time-dependent dynamic variations of the temperature fields are predicted with maximum 12% difference in the validated cases by the proposed transient thermal model.

A real-time mathematical model for three-dimensional tidal flow and water quality is presented in this paper. A control-volume-based difference method and a “power interpolation distribution” advocated by Patankar (1984) have been employed, and a concept of “separating the top-layer water” has been developed to solve the movable boundary problem. The model is unconditionally stable and convergent. Practical application of the model is illustrated by an example for the Pearl River Estuary.

In this paper, a detailed three-dimensional, transient, finite element method of fuse link NH000 gG 100 A is proposed. The thermal properties during the operation of the fuses under nominal (100 A) and custom conditions (110 and 120 A) are the main focus of the analyses that were conducted. The work concerns both the outside elements of the fuse link (ceramic body) and the elements inside (current circuit). Both the distribution of the electric current and its impact on the temperature of the construction parts of the fuses during their operating mode have been described. Temperature distribution, power losses and energy dissipation were measured using a numerical model. In order to verify and validate the model, two independent teams of scientists executed experimental research, during which the temperature was measured on different parts of the device involving the rated current. Finally, the two sets of results were put together and compared with those obtained from the simulation tests. A possible significant correlation between the results of the empirical tests and the simulation work was highlighted.

With the increase of the number of loaded goods, the number of optional loading schemes will increase exponentially. It is a long time and low efficiency to determine the loading scheme with experience. Genetic algorithm is a search heuristic algorithm used to solve optimization in the field of computer science artificial intelligence. Genetic algorithm can effectively select the optimal loading scheme but unable to utilize weight and volume capacity of cargo and truck. In this paper, we propose hybrid Genetic and fuzzy logic based cargo-loading decision making model that focus on achieving maximum profit with maximum utilization of weight and volume capacity of cargo and truck. In this paper, first of all, the components of the problem of goods stowage in the distribution center are analyzed systematically, which lays the foundation for the reasonable classification of the problem of goods stowage and the establishment of the mathematical model of the problem of goods stowage. Secondly, the paper abstracts and defines the problem of goods loading in distribution center, establishes the mathematical model for the optimization of single car three-dimensional goods loading, and designs the genetic algorithm for solving the model. Finally, Matlab is used to solve the optimization model of cargo loading, and the good performance of the algorithm is verified by an example. From the performance evaluation analysis, proposed the hybrid system achieve better outcomes than the standard SA model, GA method, and TS strategy.
