Logging is widely used in storing systems internal state, and also the interaction or operations between systems. With the logging, we can assess the systems running status and the operation procedures of personnel. In this paper, we proposed a storage solution called tape-type instead of the original one in a ship. In order to improve the usability and scalability of the solution, we take Object-Oriented Method to replace the original Structured Method. According to the actual test, the new solution has 50% improvement compared to the original one in storage efficiency, so it can better meet the real-time demand of VxWorks.

This paper presents an approach to building up a synchronized collaborative design platform upon heterogeneous CAD systems. In the approach, Neutral Modeling Commands are used to achieve the real-time exchange of modeling operations between heterogeneous CAD systems. For the Neutral Modeling Commands, an object oriented representation is given and employed to support the translation between System Modeling Operations (SMO) and Neutral Modeling Commands (NMC). Moreover, two kinds of translators, SMO-to-NMC and NMC-to-SMO, are established, which can deal with modification/deletion operations and composite features and user-defined features besides common creation operations. The preliminary test results show that the proposed approach is promising.

In order to discard some disadvantages of traditional astronomical navigation positioning, such as manual computation and time-consuming, we design a special calculator for locating ship's position, which not only make astronomical navigation positioning calculation quickly and operate instrument simply, but also convenient to carry. The system based on the theory of sun shift line positioning principle use the 32-bit microcontrollers based on ARM Cortex-M3 kernel as the core controller. In this paper, we give hardware design and software process of the system. Through actual test, the results of the testing value and actual value can tally well. Its calculation process only needs a few seconds, also could greatly improve the real-time and accuracy of positioning.

In view of the characteristics of threaded binary tree and visualization of the problem,,it is realized the visualization of binary tree by using object-oriented method and the features of complete binary tree, and then achieved the visualization of threaded binary tree by using the COM component technology and the Bezier curve. This makes the tree related operations more intuitive, nice interactive performance, real-time.

Obtaining and visualizing the internal state and position information of the remote device using sensors are important aspects of industrial manufacturing. For large-scale geo-sensors that have been recently used, map-based management and visualization of the geo-sensor devices have become ubiquitous. Users often build multiple map symbols to represent the multiple states of a device based on traditional map symbols. Visualizing multiple geo-sensor data in real time with one map symbol is difficult. In this paper, a protocol-coupling map symbol and a construction method for real-time data visualization is introduced where different sensor states of the geo-sensor are expressed with one symbol. The sensor data visualization method in supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADA) was introduced and applied to the construction and visualization process of map symbols. First, based on the traditional vector map symbols and the communication protocol parsing interface, the mapping relationship between the sensor data item and the graphic element is defined in the map symbol construction process. Second, by referring to the streaming services method in ArcGIS GeoEvent, geo-sensor data acquisition and a transfer broker in a GIS server is built, through which the real-time sensor data can be transferred from the remote side to the map client and used for map symbol rendering. Finally, the new map symbols are used for real-time geo-sensor data visualization in applications. In the application of the real-time monitoring of geo-sensor devices, remote device information was acquired by sensor and transmitted to the broker then cached on the server side. If the cached sensor data has changed compared to the previous, the changed data will be pushed to map client by broker. The communication module in the map client that communicates with the broker receives changed geo-sensor data and triggers a refresh of the map. Then the protocol-coupling map symbol is rendered according to the mapping profile and the status of the geo-sensor device will be displayed on the map in real time. All the methods and processes were verified in client-server and browser-server GIS architecture.
